Man....I know that feeling. I returned to NY in December and there's nothing, but drama and stress...but in a few months I will move to Ghana for good, I can't wait.
I just got back into the states about a week ago from Ghana 🇬🇭 and I’ve been at work sense Monday. In these short 5 days I’ve found out my terminal is closing and they haven’t let me know what part of the city I will be driving in next. I’ve gotten into 2 arguments with people and it for no reason. The first argument was from asking a guy (are you okay man) and the second argument was from a person threatening to (see me in the streets after work) because my equipment was damaged while I was on vacation and I voice my opinion. My advice to you fam is this, when you get back to the states please proceed with great caution and talk to no one. The stress levels are extremely high and people are at the breaking point due to inflation and economic issues. Keep your head down and make that money then get back to Ghana 🇬🇭 asap. Be blessed
It's true, people are stressed and many folks are unemployed...many are in serious credit card debt because they can't pay the rent or the mortgage. I got laid off in March.
I’m sorry you had to experience all the BS that comes with this place so fast. I have been staying out of the way. I’ve arrived in Virginia and it’s just work and back to the hotel for me. I’ll be getting back in the gym in the next week or so. Yup getting the bag and coming back is the goal.
