Pops Quest Thank you so much for raising money for the Fisher House. For you to give so much of your time, money, and hard work says a lot about who you are....a great person. That was nice of you to give me a shout...my channel needed a boost. The velcro stick on pads, I found at Home Depot. I am a total rookie at USPSA, so please gather more information from the guys who really know what their doing. Thanks again.
I ordered a Blade tech from Midway USA. 65 bucks. I took the drop mount off. Basic holster, but there is not a lot out there. Here is a link to the holster: www.midwayusa.com/product/918343/blade-tech-doh-dropped-and-offset-holster-right-hand-cz-tactical-sports-tek-lok
Huligone Hello Reece. So glad to hear from you. I'm eager to see that new Magazine holder set up. I took your advice and ordered a few Talon grips to give them a try. See you at the next USPSA match my good friend.
Big Johnson Guns & Gear Thank you. I had every interuption you can imagine trying to produce this tonight. One take and go....just like BJ. Just wanted to put it up for Rob to see.
badbilly429 Yes, I used to bring a range bag that I could barely lift full of too much ammo, extra pistol, kitchen sink...Now with everything it weighed 23 pounds total. The more I shoot....the lighter it gets. Thanks so much my friend for watching.
Chuck Connors That's so nice of you to say. I always adjust what I bring. I have found that there is actually very little that is needed to shoot a match. Hope you have an excellent weekend my good friend.
TRprepper I agree. I used to bring way to much to a match. Now, if I can't fit it in my backpack, I don't bring it. I am so glad you stopped by to watch...Thank you.
B Fol I'm in California...Area 2 I think. I Shoot USPSA Limited C and Production C. Guys are to fast and accurate for me. Now I just go out to enjoy myself...practice match today...video being edited....Only 4 Deltas for the day....no missed targets...I'll take that. What area are you in?
TheWeekendHiker Hello Adam. Any new adventures in the works? I always enjoy watching your videos....getting to see places I would not normally get an opportunity to visit. Thanks so much.
Phil Rivers I am glad you turned in to check out my pistol shooting setup. A low budget rig, however it works for me very well. Have a great day my friend.
That does seem very efficient. I was actually very surprised at the volume of items. Ironically....I was about to buy that backpack, lol. With all that weight my slowness to "pull the trigger" on the purchase is leaving. :)
I like the look of those mag carriers - mind if I ask which they are? And do you know if they'd work for Glock mags (and if they're production legal)? I'm having some issues with my mag pouches now that I have a couple of the ETS Glock mags - the glossy polymer really hangs on mine, since the kydex is in contact on every side, where yours look like just the sides and whatever tension provider is inside. Mine also sit really close to my body (meant for concealed carry) so they're tough to draw cleanly from.
Thanks for asking. The mag holders are Safarland single holders 671 i belive. I found them on Amazon. I use them for my Glock double stack and all my CZ double stack mags. They attach to the belt and stay where you mount them. they can be angled for use. They work much better than the Bladetech. They cost about 23 each. Mounted to a blade tech dual belt. I use them for production. They have allen adjusters for different tention.
douglas walther You can use any ammo that meets power factor for minor or major class you run in. I used 147 grain 9mm for this set up. Most competitors reload their own ammo. Thanks for the Awsome question.
star child Hello. I just use an aluminum drift punch that Dawson included with their sight set. Some of the sights need a little dressing with a file to fit properly. Some of the new sights fit a bit tight until fitted.
star child It was shooting low, so Dawson sent me a free front sight a bitshorter. Hits right on now. I ordered a set and had to try it out. Dawson is good and will send you new front sights to get you sighted in for free.
star child I think Cajon knows their CZs. You have to try out a set at the distance you shoot..then adjust. Look at the Dawson precision website after you shoot with your sights. They have a perfect sight chart, where you plug in your distance and how high or low it shoots...then tells you what front sight height you need. Here is the link dawsonprecision.com/sight-calculator/
Ron C My son and I got tiered of range shooting paper targets sitting in one place. We started checking around with guys at the range who told us about action shooting uspsa matches. They have fun / practice matches for beginers. These are low round count stages, to get used to magazine changes and using a holster. Check out uspsa.org and do a range search by zipcode. That let's you see what facilities are near you. A lot of people attend as spectators to see what it is all about before participating. Thank you so much for asking...check it out.
Ben Loope It is 2 piece velcro belt. The inner velcro goes through the belt loops as a normal belt. The outer belt is made of the other side of the velcro. this outer belt is very stiff, and holds all your mag holders and holster. the outer belt velcro attaches very well to inner belt, as it is worn outside of the inner velro belt. Hope that helps.
That Banana Boat is a cancer saver for this WHITE boy for sure. Best sunscreen I've ever used. I'd never head to a match without a Leatherman and a squib rod.
thescbaron Good advice. I thank you very much for taking the time to watch. I am such a rookie at this game, and I learn everyday from guys like you who are so kind starring knowledge....thank you.
I like the velcro addition to the mag holders! Thank you for the video, much appreciated! I need to add a few things.....

BTW, what holster do you have for the CZ Tactical sport, just ordered that pistol today

DE Nichols Thanks so much for the comment. Each time I go, I try to bring less and less in the pack.

Awesome, thanks! I will have to check them out. :)
Allen Stauffer Thanks again for watching and subscribing.
Very informative do you use a certain grade of ammo? can a competitor use reloaded ammo? Thanks
douglas walther You can use any ammo that meets power factor for minor or major class you run in. I used 147 grain 9mm for this set up. Most competitors reload their own ammo. Thanks for the Awsome question.
nice gear
treesablowin Thank you. Sorry for not seeing this comment sooner.
what tool you use for aligning rear sight perfectly. I can't find a good tool. thanks
star child Hello. I just use an aluminum drift punch that Dawson included with their sight set. Some of the sights need a little dressing with a file to fit properly. Some of the new sights fit a bit tight until fitted.
1st! Brother! Carry On!
I have these on now, were do you hold
star child I don't understand the question.
Glocked 17 I have these same sights what is your sight picture with your sights
star child It was shooting low, so Dawson sent me a free front sight a bitshorter. Hits right on now. I ordered a set and had to try it out. Dawson is good and will send you new front sights to get you sighted in for free.
Glocked 17 oh I ordered mine from Cajun what's the height difference I could just shave down..

This has interested me over the years. How did you get into it?

good video!
Thanks so much.
Hi, who makes the mag pouches? Thank You.
Safariland They sell them at Midway USA.
You shoot 9mm in limited?
Limited minor if I use regular capacity magazines. I shoot revolver minor now.
Do you run your belt through your pants belt loops? Or just wrap it around your waste, outside everythinng else?
Ben Loope It is 2 piece velcro belt. The inner velcro goes through the belt loops as a normal belt. The outer belt is made of the other side of the velcro. this outer belt is very stiff, and holds all your mag holders and holster. the outer belt velcro attaches very well to inner belt, as it is worn outside of the inner velro belt. Hi I am new to USPSA.Is CZ 75 SP-01 allow on production class ?
eric chen Yes as far as I know. A few guys shoot production with this model at our club. Which gun are you running?
I just bought a CZ 75 SP-01. can't wait for its arrival.
eric chen Very cool. I use Mecgar all steel magazines. $21 each. I love the all steel SP01. Runs like a champ.
That Banana Boat is a cancer saver for this WHITE boy for sure. Best sunscreen I've ever used. I'd never head to a match without a Leatherman and a squib rod.
