If you're read the Bible carefully, you'll see people aren't always led by the Spirit. Book of acts with Paul is one. Has God always directed you with your every step, or decision? Obviously put everything to Him, but most times He wants us to use the wisdom and life's experiences we have and learnt from Him, as He also directs our path as needed.
