I often find watching other people make art demotivating, but this video actually inspired me a lot :] I love your relaxed style, you don't seem to worry how things will turn out, you just go for it, and go over it later if you didn't like it! That felt like a revelation to me, the idea of going overtop of art I don't like.
Hey! I'm usually just a quiet watcher on youtube but i really wanted to tell you how much your channel, art and especially this video helped me. I was going through a rough patch where i wanted to improve my art so bad and was so mad i couldn't comprehend basic anatomy, that i forgot drawing should make me happy. I started to even be too anxious to draw in my beloved sketchbook, in fear of "ruining" it and this video helped me create art i love again. You made me love my mistakes again and beeing able to just draw in my sketchbook again helpes me sm. I am incredibly thankful for that. Your art is amazing and you are helping so many people with it. I found happiness in drawing again and in being dumb and creative. I listen to you ramble and draw when i am having a low energy day or just can't seem to enjoy drawing and it helps sm. Thank you❤

The way you speak and think about life is so interesting. It’s so methodical and eloquent in a way that not many people can achieve; it’s so easy to lull that I think it’s the drawing factor into who you are as a person.

Your way of doing a sketchbook is really interesting! I've never seen someone combine used wrappers and magazine cutouts between their drawings. I feel like it makes it feel more free and casual while being able to quickly jot down ideas, nicely done!

the problem with these videos is that i get a sudden urge to start making collages and sketches myself, so i always have to get up in the middle of the video😅

I really like the way you just do what you want and have fun with it, it's really inspiring to me as someone just getting back into my old hobbies and trying to fill a sketchbook. I really relate with what you said about wanting to resonate with art more, for me, in terms of visual art, ive been enjoying formats of visual art which force you take the time to observe it. things such as doing puzzles with art on it helps this a lot, that way if forces you to observe and connect every detail of the piece, and going to museums helps as well, with art online it’s much different, but forms of visial art like that really helps me pause and appreciate things more!

Your approach to art is one that I wish I had. I love that you approach art as being something that should be done for the enjoyment of creating and the exploration of the process. That it doesn't have to be a finished and polished piece of art for it to be of value, it doesn't have to look perfect to belong there.
I've been in such a bad artblock for almost two years at this point, and I can hardly bring myself to draw anything, because I feel like the finished product won't be the worth the effort, because it won't look good enough to validate its existence. And it's such an awful mindset to be in. I want to be able to doodle for fun again. I want to be able to slap color on the page and enjoy the process of creating something. Regardless of how it turns out.
Your attitude towards creating is so inspiring, and I hope I can change the way I view my own art. I always look at what others are creating and see something beautiful and worthy of existence, while I can hardly stand to look at my own art. I'm sure other people feel that way about their art versus others, but it's something I'd like to be able to stop doing.
So, thank you for sharing your sketchbooks and process with us. I think it's a really healthy approach and attitude towards creating.

I have a question: Do you glue everything with only baton glue, or do you use other types of glue for other stuff that refuses to stick? I'm mostly asking because I don't know if I should use other types of glue that could possibly be more affordable because they need less glue to actually and properly stick the stuff.
yeah I just use whatever! literally using a dollar store gluestick in this video, if I'm in a pinch I'll use scotch tape/masking tape :-) whatever's on hand
