I find in Colorado that I do this early in the morning on a day it's going to be hot. We're dry,not much
humidity also. Spray it on and as it warms, it draws it into the plant and root just like it was dew on the plant.

Why use vinegar? Because it's cheap and available? What about muriatic acid? Are we just trying to achieve a pH lethal to plants? Then muriatic acid should work.

Muriatic acid is dangerous.

We've never had a need to try anything other than the vinegar because it is so readily available and inexpensive.
