My Kenmore washer (top loader with agitator) dryer is 30 years old and we’ve replaced many parts ourselves via RUclips University and saved us $$$ over the years!!! I pray to it every time I use it. I LOVE my simple top loader!!!
I agree. An agitator is a must for me. I feel like it’s necessary to properly clean the clothes. Just my opinion.

I also agree! I ordered my washer & dryer online because it was basic & then found out that it didn’t have an agitator after delivering 🤦🏻♀️ I can’t wait to get a new one 😀

My husband has been fixing appliances for a long time, he now fixes all high end and has actually gotten awards from high end brands, and he doesn't like top loaders however if people want them he always says the more simple the better, less to break and always have an agitator!
We have lg front loaders and love them. They're almost 6 years old and we have 5 boys and live on a farm and they're used a lot lol.
U guys have so much fun!!! Technically is great when it works!!! X
When I got married years and years and years ago. We weren't married a month and I said to my husband I said my washer is broke. It will not spin so he came. In and put his hand on the dryer and the top of the dryer was so hot. He unplugged it real fast and he says got ready. Catch on fire so needless to say, I had or he helped me ring out all the wet clothes. And then we ran to the laundromat real fast Dryden. Then we went and picked out a new set. So you probably get the right thing because once something starts going bad, especially a dryer. You could have caught on fire. And I love the ones that you picked out. They're beautiful.

OMG - I just bought a washer dryer at the big Labor Day sale at the big box stores. I was bummed by the touch screen also but, I’ve adapted;) Labor Day is the biggest sale in appliances in Oregon. For big purchases, it’s good to find out best sale of year, and plan way ahead;)

Omg I agree 15:15, my high end front load washers (2 sets) don’t wash as well as top loaders that really agitate the clothes and fill up with water when needed. I also hate how you have to keep front load door open to fully dry so it doesn’t mold out.
I agree with you Kylie. I love just buttons. I don’t care for stuff to connect to anything.

All washers have an agitator in them, even the brand new washers! People are usually loading them wrong because they think that they don't have an agitator.

Kylie we actually had a similar LG washer and dryer not that long ago. We loved it but within a few years had to get another two still LG but we wash so many loads with a family but still great. Hope you like it. You got me more motivated I took my decore down but in my garage still needs to head to storage tomorrow.

I had a machine without an agitator and it sucked. Clothes were not cleaned!! Agitator is a must!!!

I get the need for physical buttons! Years ago, I had a cell phone on which the 'back', 'home', and 'open apps' buttons were touch screen. A couple of them suddenly stopped working, and it was a PAIN!

Kylie I saw this on FB.. when you give someone a bottle of wine wrap. it in a kitchen towel. I did this for my niece and sister using holiday doggie theme. They loved it. Of course you can do it this all year long ...
kylie!! i need help, we just bought a house in the summer, i have TWO toddlers that love making messes, my family room has cutouts to the kitchen (for heat distribution as we heat with a wood stove in northern ontario canada) i want to do sage green walls in both family room and kitchen, with sunflower accents for the kitchen and boho accents for the living room, what colour do i paint my cupboards that would go well with sage green that isn’t white because again toddlers 😂

We have the same appliances that we bought when we purchased our house 18 years ago. Anytime one starts to make a noise or the trim starts to yellow my husband orders parts and fixes them. The new washer and dryer look nice, I hope you like them.

I have a ge profile without an agitator. Honestly cleans better than any other washer I've ever owned plus my clothes last longer.. I have the hard plstic wreath holders, i made all my holidays wreaths so they are a bit more delicate, some at least. My Christmas one is a snowman made from different sized ornaments and tiny bells. Your husband knows you very well lol!

Our friend , who is a washer repairman, told us to always buy a washer with an agitator. He said they last longer. Unfortunately, we learned that when he came to look at our fairly new washer without an agitator that had already quit working.😔

We have a Kenmore Washer that is over 20 years old,still works perfect I just have to use pliers to pull the start cycle knob cause it fell off ….Kenmore for life ✌️❤️😂

Do you not have a line to dry on in your back yard? I don't even own a drier. I'm in QLD Australia. I have access to industrial driers at my work so if I need to dry anything due to rainy weather I just take to work. I like your new set. Very nice. Best machine I ever had was a Maytag. I regret replacing it, I should have had it repaired.
OMG You and I are appliance soul sisters lol I hate fancy appliances but the "buttons" are getting hard to find lol I will say I thought the same about the agitator but I got a GREAT deal on a set without and man it's so nice and everything still comes out clean and fresh !! BUT I am on my 3rd no buttons dishwasher lol I feel like once the push panel goes out the whole thing just dies. They don't make em like they use to. Happy New Year to you and Mark !!

I had to have the front load washer and dryer when they came out . Hated them but when they died so happy to get a plane Jane washer and dryer lol

Noticed at the end of the vlog, you were having tomato soup and grilled cheese. Have you ever tried grilled peanut butter with tomato soup? Growing up as a kid, that was my favorite meal and to this day, it takes me back to my childhood, whenever I have it! Give it a try if your not allergic to peanuts or peanut butter……it really is yummy (especially dunked in the soup!) 🙂

I bought my LG about 1 year ago and I don’t like it without the agitator because it gets stuck on the spinning cycle in the washing machine seems like if stuff is in the center of the machine it doesn’t spin correctly so not loving mine.

My dad owns an appliance repair business and he would say that your washer and dryer are making noises bc you wash rugs in them and use too much detergent 😂
Also if you’re looking for the most reliable, speed queen lasts the longest and will be easy for repair people to fix bc they’re more mechanical than electronic
Adulting is loving getting new appliances haha We have been told by every appliance repair person to not get LG or Samsung appliances as they break down often.
