How the detective interrogating him believed all the crap Josh was saying is beyond me! His "tears" (if there were any...) were only for himself, and the fact that he had her buried in the garden all along has nothing to do with love but instead, it's the ultimate form of power and control over Shannon! She possibly wanted to leave him and he couldn't accept that.

Crime Beat TV seems to be a well put together show, I especially appreciate the minimum repartition in the narrative. Many of the TV shows of this nature could certainly learn from your production practices. The stories I have watcned though all very sad and all the family members you have come into contact with and the respectful treatment of same is worthy of notice.

If his hands got tired he could have stopped and let go. Of course this would mean jail all the same for him as it's aggravated assault and intent to kill. This should have been first degree murder or manslaughter. I hope that in 2022 he will NOT get parole.
