This left such an imprint on my childhood. I watched T2 again recently (greatest action film ever) and realized that in the scene where John is running from the T-1000 in the truck….the dirt bike is perpetually accelerating! Every time the camera comes back to the bike it’s upshifting and accelerating hard! Bike must have 15-speeds! Haha
The bike is made to be very quick and the CR250 is the best of them all. I would keep the bike quick and never try to give it top speed. It’s not what the bike was bred to do
Record whatever you like doing and post often. I’ve been at it for like 4 years and it takes one good video to put you on the map and get some followers. Then just being consistent and having quality content will get you to slowly grow.
O ya btw u don’t have to use clutch to shift on 2 stroke it’s not bad for them they were made so you don’t have to use clutch to shift the transmission and clutch r always in sink
I find myself missing more shifts when clutchless shifting, and I personally think I can shift faster by holding the throttle wide open, not lifting and stabbing the clutch to shift. If I’m just putting around I’ll do a mix of clutch and no clutch shifting
@@jimi1943 2 strokes surely are quick, but the final drive ratio is what creates the top speed so doesn’t matter if it’s a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke, a cr250 could probably do 120mph but why loose the acceleration over top speed?
That’s not good! Back sprocket must be big. I would go up on tooth on the front which is about the same as going down 3.5 teeth in the back. That Nick I think would do 80. Go down another 3 teeth in the back with the one tooth bigger front sprocket and I’m thinking 85-90
@@kb3526 no u can hear how poor it pulls when hes shifting. he should reach top speed alot faster. my cr250 is way more crisp and my cylinder is bad and needs to be replated.
Imagine the top end gives out at the speed
I remember the kid off terminator 2 had this same dirt bike it was a legend
Such a sweet bike!
And because of growing up watching that movie it is what made me get the 93 a few months back. Got a new top end with new reeds. I love it!
@@okangmuhammadel6664 just got a '93 2 weeks ago...in Great Great Condition ...Sweet
@@imackmusic7924 Enjoy it safely my friend enjoy. Puts a 😁 on my face every time I twist the throttle

What the app called?
I got my 1997 KX125 to 75 MPH
70+ mph on a 2 stroke... insane
I mean 50cc wr is 200kmh
@@jimi1943 Yes but there's a difference between enduro and a cross dirtbike
@@kidlalal yes but my 88 derbi does 87mph. 2 strokes are fast

@@kidlalal thats right. But cr250 only going 70mph is crazy. The torque must be insane with such short gearing.
120kmh if you need know
Shit.!.what Year is this bike..?
🤘🏿Bikelife🤘🏿
This one is a 96 if I remember correctly. Super fun bike!
Mph or kph?

I’m looking at buying a 1982 CR250 tomorrow I’m 14 and really scared but it’s my dream bike
Seems about right same as what I got lol I have a 1997
Yea my other CR is right around there too. All comes down to gearing though.
the bike sounds a lil dead, should prolly do top end rebuild.
His bike is good i have the same bike sounds the exact same . It has a natural piston slapping sound that will make you think something is wrong

@julianlaustsen1991 yea true my bike would keep lifting if I did the same thing
That was so painful to watch! I hate hearing bikes sit at redline
dont buiy a two stroke then because they are all top end power gotta hit the powerband
