- Hi everyone! Wow what a two years it has been. Today's video is a get ready with me that I filmed on the two year anniversary of my cancer diagnosis. I can't believe how far I have come since then and in this video I dive deep on a variety of topics including what it is like to have cancer when you are a young adult, dating after cancer, mental health when dealing with cancer, and the fitness journey I am about to embark on as this year I am focusing on my health and becoming the best version of myself. I know this is a chatty and long video so I have provided time stamps below incase there is a specific topic that you are interested in hearing about. Totally agree with you on the exercising, you hit it on the target , we can’t compare ourselves to others, I needed to hear that because I compare myself to others who do that high intensity workout and I just started exercising and I am a bigger woman and I am doing the best I can now, being consistent doing what I can do!! I am so proud of you for being consistent and you are exactly right, exercise is different for everyone and as long as you are moving your body, you are doing something you enjoy, and you are feeling good emotionally and physically about it that is all you need. I am happy that was helpful to hear, I often compare myself too and it's an ongoing goal to stop doing that❤

Thanks Becky for putting out this video. You are a brave, young woman to have gone through all that in such a young life. I’m hopeful for you for your future & when the timing is right it will all fall into place. I just finished my 6th & final chemo for uterine/omentum/ lymph cancer. Appts. for CT Scan & MRI are on February 7th & see oncologist February 14 , then surgery February 28 🤞🏻🙏 all being well. You give me hope on the other side of all this seeing you today (Jan. 30/23). You are in my 🙏 & ❤️. Sending virtual hugs 🤗. (I’m so hoping my hair comes back).
Thank you for such a kind comment and thank you for sharing your story with me❤️ congratulations on finishing chemo and good luck with you scans I will be thinking of you🥰 it took some awkward phases with the hair growth but it will come! It took about a year to grow to a little above my shoulders and now it seems to be growing really fast!

I remember the day I was told about my cancer and that my doctor leaned against the wall to steady herself right before she told me and that I was still going to go to work and she told me most people take the day off. Its so weird what all stands out for these cancer journeys. And on dating you definitely will find someone that's just perfect for you and will love everything about you. I'm glad you're going out w friends and your hair is looking super cute! 💗

Is the scar on your neck more red than it should be?
I think my body just takes longer to heal. When I went for follow up after surgery my surgeon said that it was healing nicely. I have also noticed that it is red but there doesn't seem to be signs of infection but the next time I see my doctor I will for sure follow up. My port scar is also the same colour just harder to see because it is covered up most of the time :)
