  • The video examines the Marshmallow Test, also known as the Marshmallow Test, and its relevance to the study of self-discipline. The Test, which was designed by psychologist Walter Mischel, has revealed how the ability to delay gratification correlates with various long-term positive outcomes. However, the ethics of this experiment and the need for better research in the field are also addressed.
The idea was to provide practical, science-backed strategies for cultivating self-discipline in adult life. These strategies include setting clear and realistic goals, practicing emotional self-regulation, using visualization and mental planning, and seeking social support. It is emphasized that the development of self-discipline is a gradual and personal process, and that each individual can find the strategies that best suit their needs.
The cited scientific references support the proposed strategies, including research on the relationship between self-discipline and academic achievement, executive brain function, emotional self-regulation, and social support.
I hope you enjoy it ✨✨✨✨
