Watching you trying to keep up with that turner speed gave me anxiety!!! Holy moly I don’t know how you did it. Great job, beautiful design 😍 of course another one I have to try! Thank you!!
Appreciate how concise and thorough you have made all the directions! You have created another beautiful original style! Thank you for being so open with sharing all of your masterful techniques 💙
Your cups are all so beautiful!! Keep up the great videos! I really enjoy how clear your videos are, both in your delivery and the video quality!! You’re a natural!! 😄💕
Girl! I really really appreciate you taking time and sharing this knowledge with us. Think you literally just saved me, I'm about to do a marble and hadn't thought of the thickness. I'm excited to try my Artisan but it definitely thicker then Alumilite. So glad I watched this, thanks.
I love your tutorials! They are so detailed and very easy to understand. I’ve been crafting tumbler for 9 months now and I love the new ideas you’re inspiring me to try!! Keep up the great work! ✨💖
OMG! Spray paint in epoxy!!! Who would have thunk it? Thank you so much for your videos! I learn something new with every one! I am glad you use Alumilite! That's the only one I use. I keep getting little "pimples" (honestly thats's how they feel) on my finished cups. I torch, hand epoxy, and I just don't know what else to do. Does this happen to you? How would you suggest I fix this? BTW, I'm doing this cup tonight!
@@FlynnSistersBoutique I used alcohol and coffee filters. I have used paper towels before on other things but I've stopped since watching you, lol. Those little pimples are soooooo frustrating.
I love watching your video. You give such good info. Do I have to use spray paint can I just use acrylic paint. Is spray better then acrylic paint. I have a tone of acrylic don’t want to buy spray since this I the only thing I would use it for. Thank you for your time and info!
I really don't have any recommendations at the moment. We make all of our own here and I don't have any reputable sellers that I feel comfortable referring you too. I like what the Cup A Saurus guys are doing on Etsy. They seem to have a great track record and great reviews.
Lisa Ritchie this was a gift from a friend at Honeywell. I’ve tried to source some for you guys but it’s impossible to find them anywhere online. You need an organic vapor mask either half face or full face would work fine.
So beautiful! I love your tutorials and appreciate them so much! Just a thought on the turner direction... if you put the motor end on the other side of the table ( your right side instead of left) wouldn’t it be turning towards you like you prefer?
omg i love this cup!! 😍 thank you so much for the inspiration & for such a thorough tutorial! instead of spray paints for the blue/nude color would i be able to use acrylic paint or even mica powders or does it have to be spray paint? i’m new to making tumblers, only have made 2 so far so i’m definitely still learning!!
Silly question but can you link the metal stir stick you use to mix your epoxy with the paint and mica? I can't seem to find the right thing on Amazon. Thank you!
I love your work you make some beautiful cups❤️ I noticed in a few of your videos you mentioned using polycrylic to seal metallic vinyl do you use the spray kind or the kind that’s in the can? Thank you
thank you! you can use either! Actually I've recently started sealing metallic vinyl with matte mod podge spray! it works great and dries really quick!

Since I'm not sanding or applying decals, just going right over it with epoxy, you can do that after only 4/6 hours with almost any epoxy. I use Alumilite. So for example - If i put the first coat of epoxy over the glitter, I would wait 4/6 hours and then go straight into the second coat without touching it, removing from the turner, etc.
So quick question. Wife is turning forty and I wanted to make this cup. I put the glitter coat and my coating already took an orange peel look which occurred within 20 minutes of epoxy. Is this ok? Could I do another coat of glitter epoxy? Thanks and great video
How did you make that decal? Also, Could you PLEASE do SOMETHING with red. I want a red glitter tumbler but I just dont know what. I am trying to get the creativity flowing but....IDK 😩
Lorren Gonzalez For the decal i have a tutorial about how to do offsets in cricut design space here on my channel. The decal design is from an artist who sells her designs facebook.com/diamondsanddustshop/ 😊 I have a lot of tutorials scheduled for the next month or so but nothing with red. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook I have some projects with red that might help inspire u
Oooh I completely agree. I have these plates I use in my kitchen and I always want to do SOMETHING along these colors but don't know what. I'm from San Antonio, TX so Fiesta and Mexican/Spanish culture are big here.
If u wanted the turner to spin toward you u could have just place the opposite way.. instead of it being on the right place it on the left vice versa..

Love your tutorials !! Have you posted or mentioned what kind of turner you use ?! I used the spin it and it messed up my very first cup !
Micaela Rodriguez thanks! We built ours. We’re hoping to do a run through on how we built it but it’s a lot of work
Could you use all mica powders if I don't have a variety of spray paint colors?
Yes definitely
Is there a cup turner you can recommend that you like? I have a diy one but would like to find a nicer one.
I really don't have any recommendations at the moment. We make all of our own here and I don't have any reputable sellers that I feel comfortable referring you too. I like what the Cup A Saurus guys are doing on Etsy. They seem to have a great track record and great reviews.
The quick glitter method will work for all sizes of glitter??
Kayla Powell no, I wouldn’t do it on anything chunkier than snow confetti
What is white epoxy dye? Can I use white acrylic paint or white mica or white alcohol ink
Epoxy dye is pigment formulated for epoxy. You can use acrylic paint or mica
Where is your respirator from? Doubt I can even find out now but I’ve been having a reaction to the epoxy.

Equal parts a and b

Do you do custom cups? I cant pull up your website it says it is not available?

Jessica, Love all your videos! You are so helpful! Can I ask what font you use for your logo?
thanks! I had that designed for me so I'm not sure what the font is
Could you substitute the spray paint for acrylic paint?
yes absolutely, you'd just use a very small amount.
For your first coat, you allow it to sit for 4-6 hours. Is that a fast dry epoxy, or how is your epoxy dry that fast? Love the finished look!

Thank you 😊 yes another coat of epoxy over it will help with that
Are you letting it dry in between coats
Yes
so pretty! one i will try for sure! instead of using spray paint can you use acrylic paints? is the mica powder for color? yes totally new to this
yes you can definitely use acrylic paint. just use a little bit though. Mica is for color and some sparkle. thank you!!
@@FlynnSistersBoutique thank you! I have been using this awesome stuff that I got for a epoxy table thinking its close to the same :)
So after adding the quick glitter base of three glitters and epoxy, my cup is super lumpy. Should I sand before adding the paints and mica’s?
I would do another coat of epoxy first, then do your marbling
