- Minecraft has a ton of items that are either hard to find or straight up impossible to get without cheats, so I fixed that!
But not only did I make whatever recipes came to mind, I also tried to keep all of them balanced and fair so that you can't get a lead early on by crafting an item you shouldn't have yet!

lol but 6:49 the elytra recipe cannot be possible because elytras is made out of.. u guessed it.. dragon wings, that is also why the ships with elytra has a dragon head on it and the dragon we battle every time (dont remember the name) is the last dragon, a girl that drops a egg without a dragon in it because there is no male dragon

I actually really love the idea of using empty bottles and transfering xp from your xp bar into the bottle, like you could share some levels with your friends, and also save up some of it, in case of you dying

There's a VanillaTweaks datapack that does exactly that. With it, you right click an enchanting table with an empty bottle in hand and it becomes an XP bottle in exchange for levels.

The bottles o’ enchanting confuses me, because they’re textured like a potion, not a splash potion, are definitely obtainable in survival.
That confused me too, but he might have just changed the sprite. Also, they are obtainable but not craftable

The chain recipe gives multiple chains, so while it costs an ingot and two nuggets, it gives you *looks up recipe to make sure he gets the number right…sees that his entire argument is wrong* well shisse
At least it has higher enchantability, so you are more likely to get better enchants

@@enderyu That's not useful when you can't even transfer the enchantments to a better armour though.
A lot of these recipes need to be considered by mojang (especially stone to cobble) but a few are a little OP (Totems of undying and end portal frames)
And bedrock
If they add end portal frames then they’ll need to be mineable in the first place and fix the bug that happens when you mine/mushroom a lit end portal frame
I like some of the stuff in the datapack but not all of it so you just can delete certain files that you don't want.
Example: I've already using a datapack that gives me a saddle recipe that I like more than the one in the video so I'm gonna delete the file that adds saddle crafting recipes)
Unbreakable blocks should never have a recipe.
The end portal requieres stone, so you still need ro go to the end at least once, it just frees you of the hassle of going far for later visits

What fun! On an SMP me and friends had been playing in for years, we eventually started adding custom trade villagers as rewards for completing cool projects. Recently we made a giant temple for a villager cleric to trade a stack of froglights for 1 light block.

Idk why people think the bedrock wither is difficult. I play bedrock only (so that's the only wither I've experienced) but it's easy as pie if you make a good enough obsidian cage. I use a 7 blocks thick box of obsidian to spawn the wither into, and manage to kill him before anything goes wrong

I think spawn eggs should've been crafted with a nether star; it's not a difficult thing to get late game, if you've set up a Wither Farm and have gathered a few stacks of Soul Sand; besides, it's as if the Star is incubating the egg.
When you broke the Spawner with the silk touch enchantment, it still gave you XP points, so you could get infinite XP just by breaking and placing the spawner.

When messing with custom recipes, adding end crystals to a crafting recipe can make them a lot more difficult to produce.
You can craft them but i forgot how i only know that there is a ghast tear in it

There is a lot of interesting mods in videos that some youtubers make, but they just DO NOT make it into a mod, even though they've coded it all already...
2:34 you can already craft magma blocks with magma cream. Although admittably the value of magma is more close to 1 netherrack and 1 lava than to 4 magma creams.

He should've made as if he crafts any stone (cobblestone, cobbled deepslate, blackstone, endstone) with lava to make magma block. Since magma blocks are also present in the overworld. It makes some sense
Love your videos dude, and this is a fun idea, but you missed couple of things:
You already can craft magma blocks
Sculk sensors can be picked up with silk touch
Glowstone is renewable already
Chain is more expensive than an iron ingot
Nametags can be traded with villagers
Shroomlight farms are a thing
Breaking spawners still give EXP, so you could replace it and have infinite EXP

The video is about crafting recipes, so even though nametags, glowstone, shroomlight are all farmable, there are no recipes. Either way, as of now sculk sensors aren't craftable nor can they be farmed, doesn't matter if you can pick it up or not.
Breaking spawners give exp, but mining it with silk touch (like in the video) wouldn't drop exp just like nether quartz and other exp dropping ores don't drop exp when mined with silk touch

You should make it so the chain recipe gives 3 chains instead of 1. As it stands, 2 nuggets and 1 ingot is 1 chain so the current recipe makes iron armor cheaper than chain despite being stronger.

I can tell you havent been around but saddles once did have a recipe! it was in a snapshot for 1.6 but was removed in the full release

2:50 or even better, dirt and grass (since grass can be obtained with silk touch or shears)
The whole point of the grass recipe is a way to get access to the grass block without silk touch

Finally - a mod that actually considers things like game balance, instead of just including overpowered things and presenting them as amazing!
Also, I've always felt that 9 rotten flesh in the crafting grid should make a block of netherrack.
Chains actually cost MORE than an iron ingot, so you're spending more iron for less armor.

Well, it depends on rather if you have a magma block farm or an iron/emerald farm. Obiously via the vanilla way the magma block is renewable, not like on the new one made out by cat, cause nethetrack not renewable.
my changes:
- instead of making a bottle o' enchanting, it makes an item where if you right-click it takes away a certain amount of XP and becomes a bottle o' enchanting. that way you can't just craft XP, and it also lets you store XP so you don't lose it on death!
- nether quartz instead of iron in the trident recipe (also maybe make unenchanted ones stack!)
- alter the shape of the horse armour recipes to match the already-existing one for leather horse armour
- use a nether wart block instead of a mushroom block in the shroomlight
- use tall grass instead of moss carpet in the grass block
So for the spawners, I’m not sure what plugin the server I play on uses, but it lets you pick up spawners with silk touch (they drop as normal items when mined this way), and not only do they maintain their mob when placed, but if you purchase a spawn egg from the in-game shop, right clicking the spawner with the egg changes what mob it spawns
You can also just buy pig spawners at the shop and change them yourself but most people tend to sell the spawners they find naturally to the richer players that set up public mob farms
i'm not sure if you knew this, but you didn't have to make the magma block recipe! it's already craftable using 4 magma cream in a square (like how you make wood into a crafting table)
I mean, it doesn't take much effort to make recipes anyway
but what if you can't get magma cream?

Fun fact: Using chains as a crafting recipe for chainmail armor makes sense, but it's actually more expensive than iron and is just weaker. One chain is 1 iron ingot + 2 iron nuggets, but for iron armor you just need iron.

5:37 (idk the time) One thing that could work is item frames. If you use a command when a player place that specific item frame,it will turn into a spawner
in the latest snapshot, custom crafting recipes can result in items with custom component data, meaning the mob spawners mentioned in this video might be possible
I feel like bedrock and end portal frames shouldn't have a recipe, appart from that, I have no objections

Overall these are really awesome! Good additions. It would cut down on exploration a bit, but for those who want to keep their worlds smaller, it makes sense.

I do think some of these are very overpowered _(Bedrock, End Portal Frames for example)_ but imagine there were new blocks like those that just took forever to break? 🤔

For the Elytra recipe I would add that you need to have gotten an Elytra first to be able to even craft it, that makes it renewable and not as broken as being able to craft it before exploring The End dimension.
Some really good ideas here, and really like the option to have a trident recipe, as farming one can take literal hours or days, and prismarine isn't easy to find early game so its fair.
I'm against the ability to be able to craft bedrock, as it would turn griefing up to eleven, despite being so hard to make.
As for the spawners, YES PLS. That was a very clever way to implement them, but they are kinda overpowered since crafting them gives you the possibility of multi-spawner farms; I'd say adding something else to the recipe, like a couple of End Crystals (after all, they're used to respawn the dragon) would make it more fair.
Also a recipe for budding amethyst blocks would be great, because as of now you have to make your base or afk spots forcibly near a geode, and losing a budding amethyst block is a tragedy, and placement would help turning it into an automatic amethyst farm with some redstone.
For budding amethyst, I'd go with them just being movable by pistons.
Well, you still need to explore the End dimension to be able to make them... it requires an End Rod, of which you can only get at an End City, which ALSO means that making one is SLIGHTLY less rare than finding one, but it's also sort of limited since there are only SO many End Rods

"Rotten Meat should be smelted in the furnace for leather" - GOD PLEASE, this makes it so that you don't need to HOPE for a leather from a cow, and also makes it kind of good for early because it makes zombies better due to flesh being at least okay with milk, but having it being a two-in-one option selection is COOL. B)
For the god Apple, it could be two golden apples on each of the corners, gold blocks on both left and right, and up and down, it can stay the same.

Smelting as opposed to crafting leather from flesh makes it more automatable imo, as the ratio of flesh to leather is much higher, and you can make a set up to auto-smelt, but not auto-craft.

0:50 Experience bottles already exist in survival through trading, and I think the recipe is a little too expensive, considering you can get 1 bottle of enchanting for 1 emerald from a good villager.

A few ideas that either regard or don't regard crafting:
Right clicking Wool/Concrete Powder dyes it without going through the hassle of crafting since that could happen in real life
You can edit nametags aswell as editing signs
Minecarts with Shulker Boxes
More Food (Even if there is a mod for this, it would be fun to reference Alan Becker)

2:11 I was going to suggest diamonds instead of prismarine considering how tridents ARE relatively powerful even just as melee options, but then I remembered prismarine shards are also kind of a pain to get anyways, especially without a trident to begin with.

i would definitely think that someone who has prismarine shards would at least have 5 diamonds for an enchanting table, and the actual trident is worth the grind, i remember grinding for around 6 hours because i was just very unlucky, but just adding riptide makes it one of the best items when paired with elytra
Maybe as another buff they could allow survival to book melee enchants onto it too, particularly sharpness. Tridents do suffer from the less optimal way impaling works on Java but having a long ranged sharpness 5 hit would be wild.

Mushrooms and glowstone are already renewable resources. You can bonemeal mushrooms to get mushroom trees, then silk touch the blocks to get those blocks, PLUS just break it down with a non-silk touch to get regular mushrooms from the caps in java, and you can get glowstone from cleric trades, as well as xp bottles. You can obtain name tags from librarians, and through piglin bartering you can get crying obsidian (though that is a little more RNG). Also, as many have already stated, Magma blocks are obtainable by using 4 magma cream.

Chains cost one iron ingot and two iron nuggets so using chains for chainmail armor would cost more than iron and still be worse. Using iron nuggets would be a better alternative, or even having some iron added along with iron nuggets in the crafting recipe.
Another fun fact: you can craft leather with rabbit leather or i forgot how we call it

You should also be able to craft a Walmart-brand elytra using sticks and leather, and using firework rockets eats the durability like crazy to balance it out, so you still have gliding option early-mid game but can then trade it off once you get elytras

I am blown away by how useful and practical all of these recipes are. I hope Mojang sees this at some point and is inspired to implement the ideas.
small technicality on the Elytra recipe "requiring" you to enable phantoms: cats, one of their "gifts" that they give you upon sleeping is phantom membranes, letting you farm the stuff WITHOUT enabling the insomnia mechanic that spawns phantoms
I think being able to craft a totem would be way to op, so it makes sense why you can’t make it, and it should stay that way. Now a days with the nether update, getting gold blocks is easier than ever, so it’ll be easier to get totems.
I mean. I can also just make a stacking raid farm and get literally 500 totems in 30 min

@@novemberguy9 the point is that if you want a crafting recipe for diamond horse armour, it should probably be the same recipe as the one for leather horse armour but with diamonds instead of leather, as opposed to just inventing a new recipe out of thin air

An idea I made myself through the easy MCreator thing is a way to make totems, but I had done it by having to have to make a head first, and then the body, and combining the 2 new totem head and totem body items through the smithing table, I haven’t seen how you did it, as I’m only about 50 seconds in the video as of typing this comment, but I thought that this idea I made should probably be mentioned

I think saddle should have 2 iron, Magma block has a crafting recipe, maybe you should be able to grind concrete into concrete powder, the portal frames should be more expensive since they are unbreakable normally.
I dont mind the spawner bits but Apotheosis and MC 1.20 ended up at the same spot so it might be redundant
