The wellness violation means you cannot take steroids
Wellness policy covers alcoholism, drugs, performing enhancers etc
However Roman was suspended because the person he got his supplements from was also involved with steroids. Reigns was clean and only took a form of Adderall which was for ADHD. They kept Roman away from the main event scene until the situation was cleared up.
One final thing, Roman's best physique was 2012-2015. He had a hernia surgery in 2014 and he looked kinda puffy in the face. He carried some extra weight throughout 2016-2018. When he left due to leukemia (blood cancer), he was losing weight. In 2020, he left because his immune health could've been in jeopardy. He focused on immune health, resculpted his diet, got into bodybuilding, and the results paid off! He looks a bit out of shape now, because most wrestlers in WWE aren't home a lot. When they were in one location due to the pandemic, everyone had time to be home. Reigns took care of his 5 kids, wife, and his body. Now, WWE is on the road almost constantly again. 4-5 days a week and sometimes 6 for certain WWE talent. They don't have that big of a window to get a good workout for both strength and conditioning from going city to city state to state on little sleep and recovery time. On top of that stick close to your diet to stay in that shape while on the road like is almost impossible.
You mentioned Roman looked like Aquaman. When he switched his regular clear contacts for colored ones during his 2014-15 era, he got compared to Jason Momoa who played Aquaman. Off topic, I saw you raise a brow at the two old men next to Roman, they were his dad and uncle: The Wild Samoan: Afa & Sika.

Hazel Eyes have a weird property to them, where under certain lighting, they can appear more vibrant green, or a dull green that looks almost like a brown color although their pigment doesn't change. But with Reigns himself, he has naturally brown eyes and not hazel. He did wear blue contacts as part of his character, but I believe he abandoned them.
He did. He said they hurt his eyes more under tv lights more then no contacts because how they're made opposed to clear contacts he wears.
Roman still does wear contacts, only when he’s wrestling though. They are just clear so his eyes are still brown.
It’s funny to me at 7:10 she said “nooooooo” as Rollins hit Reigns with the chair. Cus a fan in the crowd that night had that exact same reaction and it can be heard on the show. 😂😂😂

After 2020 summerslam, not only Vince, but the WWE universe, the fans, all have been part of Roman Reigns push as the Head of the Table, the Tribal Chief. The old haters already became his fans. So he need new haters to smash them and stack them 😆
Seth Rollins' cash-in was called the "heist of the century" and it was chic, unexpected and cool. May consider it one of the best or even the best cash-in of all time.

I’m one of those ppl who hated Roman when he first was getting an insane push. I always knew he was meant to be a heel so when they went through with it, that’s all I needed for me to become a fan of his again and now he’s my fave in the business today.

The reason WWE kept pushing Roman reigns is because he's always been a top merchandise seller and despite him getting booed on TV he was still a top draw on house show's no matter what anyone says Roman reign was always a success.
That’s also because he was pushed from the start. That’s like a chicken or egg thing. When you’re the Royal rumble winner, the only Shield member to keep the gimmick and you main event every PpV, yeah…you’re going to be the top merch seller. It’s more impressive when someone who isn’t getting a super top push like that sells merch. Like Jeff Hardy. Same thing with drawing. How many more houses would they sell and how many more live shows would they be running (they had to cut back in the last five years) if they didn’t push Roman right away and went with the 100 other people more over than him along the way since 2015.
@@MrTambourineMan. one the big reasons he pushed was because he was the top merchandise seller in the shield and it was very easy to see that he had way more drawing potential than dean Ambrose and seth rollins a lot people forget that he was the favorite member of the shield for most fans the truth is Roman reigns made the shield look legit with his presence without him it would have just been two skinny indie guys so as I said before Roman reigns has been a success from day one.

I loved Romain from the Big Dog to the Head of table. Not all fans had a problem with him.
Roman used to wear contacts witch is why his eyes looked like that in the old clips. Also, roman still does wear contacts, when he wrestles. They just are clear so it shows his actual eye color unlike back then where he wore blue contacts.
I know a lot of wrestling fans are tired of his current "Reign" but I for one have been waiting for him to finally go this heel route so I'm enjoying it while I can.

He changed his name cuz WWE couldn't trademark Leakee. Also, yes! He wore blue contacts for some time. The fans hated that so he stopped doing it. And he was a good wrestler but a bad character back then
On the first raw after wrestlemania 33, Roman was booed and insulted as soon as they could for about 10 minutes, everyone did not want Roman's match with the Undertaker because the victory of Rains was obvious, the match unfortunately also turned out to be controversial, and the most offensive thing for me personally was that Roman's victory over the undertaker did not give him anything, they could easily make a villain out of him after that victory, but they missed the moment, I recommend that you find that moment from the first episode of raw after wrestlemania 33 and watch, or rather listen to what was there, it was something

Roman can wrestle well for a guy his size in today's era of WWE. He has classics with Daniel Bryan and it got fans to respect him, but they didn't like his good guy character they were force feeding on them.
@RUclips Viewer I was talking about the IWC claiming he was force fed to them. To me, a large majority of people liked Roman. They booed how he was booked to say corny things and be seen as a main eventer while fans were trying to tell the WWE machine they wanted Bryan

7:05 was the best kept secret. Nobody knew this would happen and it was relayed to Seth that he was going to hit Roman with a chair and the Shield was done. Dean and Roman were not told anything except that they were not to fight back, they were told all of this as they were about to head out to the ring...Batista and Orton were told on their way to the curtain. Nobody backstage not involved in the segment aside from the very high-ups knew what was about to happen. No internet spoilers, nothing.
He violated the wellness policy because he was wrestling with an enlarged spleen. His spleen got so bad that if they didn't catch it it would have killed him.
After the tragic death of Eddie Guerrero, the wellness policy was established with a no drug / substance policy and maybe Roman at this time violated the policy by maybe failing the test not to sure how it went down but speaking of Eddie Guerrero, you guys should react to him you guys would love him, preferably one of the documentaries
One thing they didn't highlight during Roman's super push between 2014-2019 was that Roman was beating A LOT of people that we really wanted to see at the top other than him. Finn Balor is definitely one that I note a lot during that time. You two should definitely react to Roman getting booed after beating undertaker at wrestlemania to see the sheer hate he was getting at that time. Never seen anyone get booed like that in my life.
I remember when he beat Taker. The next night the fans boo'd for like 10 minutes. Even chanted things like "go away" and "F you Roman.

The person who did the history was inaccurate in regards to fan opinion on reigns in 2015. If anyone remembers in 2014 rumble rey mysterio and even Bautista was booed heavily cuz fan wanted Daniel Bryant. Same thing with reigns. Had rusev won he would've got the same treatment by fans. After mania he was still getting a decent reaction hence y he was still entering through the crowd which stopped in 2016. The 2 top title wins fans were with him. 2016 rumble to fastlane is where his push came to a boiling point with fans who turned on him. Mox brought up the suffering suchitash line, that reigns wasn't thrilled with the line and when he told mox, mox said u can't say that

One thing w/ wrestling fans is that they think their opinion is the only opinion. They quickly turn on people hence why they continued to push Roman because fans got it wrong w/ Roman, Cena, a few others, heck even the Jey Uso and Roman feud. That's why WWE continued w/ their plans for Roman. They saw something fans chose not to see.

Actually, the wellness policy was put in place as a public relations deflection.....but that was because the media started asking questions about people passing away, but same difference.

for me i didn’t like Roman before because when you would see him on the mic… his mannerisms. the slang and the way he talks. for me it seemed like the character that they were trying to push just wasn’t him at all. it’s been noted that some of the phrases or words he would use was pitched to him and due to his lack of experience or just wanting to please… he would say them. he just didn’t feel like he was being himself to me. if you look back at any old Roman promos you can see that his facial expressions and his body language gives off swag and kind of heel-like. the words just didn’t match. the sides he would stand on didn’t match. roman right now is a tweener to me, but this version we’re getting right now matches everything about him to a T. this is him. his interview on impaulsive is a testament to what i’m sayin too fr fr. he seems the same off camera but just dialed down ofc. all of the greats have said that about their characters. SCSA, The Rock, Jericho, Ric Flair, HBK, HHH. Taker is an exception bc he became the character tho lmao.
