Cetus X is such a powerful little drone! I noticed that your core temp reached more than 200, my Cetus X always gives me a warning at 158 degrees... I know that I can turn the warning off in betaflight but I'm worried that it is overheating lol
I can truly say that the speedy bee app works amazing on my cetus x. Get a dual usb c cable, plug drone into phone open sb. Go to vtx change to 400 click save. Undock the drone before disconnecting from phone. Works amazing. For the tx, get the booster
your video factored into me getting a cetus x. I wanted to see if they looked hackable for distance and height, for sure they are. I watched this and another high alt one and it was a good purchase.
I've got a full year flying the Cetus X during these hot summer days it sometimes gets dead calm. It can really get up high. I suggest some type of location tag because I've lost several. I bought the Cetus X hd and it won't bind with my original RTF kit controller. I bought a new controller off Amazon and it worked first try. Also snagged another Cetus x hd with 8 spare batteries for 100 bucks. So I'll be posting soon as I get my Avatar goggles back from a friend. Thanks for watching I'll go check your vids too
The Cetus HD is really cool. I tested it for 5 min with no sd card, so the video is only the second flight with it. I had to buy a new controller as my original radio light 3 refused to bind
I am looking for a trusty micro that doesn't need to perform the best but should last me long being flown daily, would those cetus x quads have longevity and have the sufficient electronics and stuff to not corode/wear after being in use for let's say a few years till I get to build a 5 inch? I've flown with tinyhawk 2 freestyle from emax for almost a year and the range just dropped from the 150-200 meter it was to failsaving at 50 meters, probably due to something with the reciever. I just want some quad that I won't experience that again as long as I can fly without crashing or doing something stupid
The hardest thing would be if you have to go underneath and hit that button I think the batteries need to be removed but connected. My first drone and I had 5 or 6 of them since. Only problems I've had have been with the VTX melting
I'm currently on my fifth one. Lost 2, wife ran one over, and this one in the videos I screwed up soldering on a new motor terminal. None of them have had that great of signal as that one.
Actually, in the rtf kit, the Cetus x has a 400mw vtx and the controller is an XLRS. Up above the wifi interference that se3ms right...., however, I'm surprised that the wind that high didn't take it for a ride. Lol
Of course. I tried to get more out of the antenna but it was a fail. I had good picture quality with a runcam racer 2 nano. I just cut the old cam off and reused the vtx. It has plenty of range as is
@@42-Long yea i got the upgraded version, i think about swapping the frame to twiglet 2.5", someone said that open-prop frames have much less prop-wash, a "game changer"

Does the cetus x dive good or does it act like a parachute in a way? Ive seen people dive it and it levels out and wobbles
In acro it will. I'm not saying that it's easy for me but it weighs enough to drop like a rock.

Yes analog, and this was the older version 12A, I did install a Runcam Racer 2 analog cam and turned up the vtx to 400

Only the camera. Cracked the stock one and replaced it with a Runcam racer 2. Stock Cetus otherwise.

Also Beta upgraded the X. It has 3 more amps of power. Also has cool lights on the bottom. Imo it Flys way smoother
