I'm not one of those people who cares, but I definitely appreciate that you take the time to do something so simple, yet overlooked as showing the extra parts.
The neon green translucent pieces fit perfectly into the ice theme, some good old yellow snow
(If u live under a rock and don't know what yellow snow is, it's piss)

Those size 4 ccbs shells in dark blue are ridiculously expensive these days, it's a shame I never picked up storm beast when it was in shops

they use black ones when there aren't any axles that could be easily mistaken for 2 long ones
Watching these videos always makes me want to buy them, even though I know I would never use them.
The reasoning behind the red axles is that they're supposed to be easier to tell apart from the black pins at the bottom of a bag, which is also why pinaxles and triplepins both are blue and pinpinaxles are gray.
Doesn't explain why pinaxleaxles are still black, but I guess those are really easy to tell apart from the black pins, and more distinction would need to be made between them and the triplepins and pinpinaxles.

I agree that the more I look at him from first-hand visuals, the more I'm liking him. It took me a while to notice how the stature of Storm Beast somewhat resembles a gorilla. Maybe that's why the function suits it so well. I've certainly grown to like this one more than Lava Beast, as his stockier proportions make the large head design look less like Lego applied Big Head Mode to it, as Lava Beast was guilty of. He may be my second pick after Umarak instead of Lava Beast.
Great vid Rollout! Storm Beast is my favorite G2 villain, great design.

Hey, I did watch this let's build before the Lava Beast's one!
Perhaps the coloured mask is the raw energy coming out of the golden masks, but instead of melding the element colour into gold like the skull villains, it just changes the colour of the mask and creates the green "corruption"
I'm pretty sure Lego has not stoped making 2 long axels in black they just usually include red ones to make them easier to find in a pile of pieces.
If there's sets that have axles but no pins, the axles will be black

the reason that they stopped making black axols (correct me if I spelt that wrong) was because some kids could not tell the difference between them and some other black pieces.
I believe that lava beast is jungle and fire, given how they can fly like lewa.

oh. have you seen the Twotoa yet?
the arm-assembly for "Grandpaka" as I've seen him called a couple of times makes for an amazing setup for Kopaka that makes him have these really nice, Broad Shoulders...even if he loses his pauldrons when he isn't united with Melum. when he is, he has this wonderful parallel to his '15 counterpart, even if his shield is a bit small for my tastes.
Today i bought this guy and Ekimu! Yay!

Almost correct. But:
Lava Beast=Fire and Stone
Storm Beast=either Ice and Water or Ice and Jungle
Quake Beast=either Earth and Jungle or Earth and Water.
Well I've watched this before Lava Beast, so I guess I've got to go watch that now. This beast is cool though. I like it's function. Been catching up with Bionicle and have recently bought a bunch of the 2015 sets. Not too many if the 2016 sets impress me other than Umarak, the Hunter. There are a few out there I'm into though. This one is definitely on my list of potentials now.

Storm Beast's thumb snapping off reminded me of something that I'd like to ask.
Have you ever had those 2015 Skull Spider leg pieces break at the clip? Pretty much all of mine have snapped, and the ones that haven't snapped are now very very loose and I'm afraid to even touch them. I can't find anyone else online who's had this issue.
Really? That's never happened to me either.
***** That's really strange to me. I think the clips from all six 2015 Toa sets have broken or become loose at this point. :s

20:46 You didn't know if you had to build it 2 times exactly the same or if they were going to give instructions for the reversed side. I think I can help you. Go look at the instructions of the legs and at the instructions of the arms. At the beginning of the one of the legs, you can see in the left upside corner a image of the legs you are going to build. There is a '2X' there, implying you should build it twice. If you go look at the beginning of the arm instructions, there isn't that '2X' at the left upside corner, implying you shouldn't build it twice

You know they should at least make the corrupted mask pure Trans green at least it's much better than reusing the colors cause I just don't understand why using their default masks when you can at least make it all Trans green

Replace the handle 90° on the axle it's attached to. Then just plug the Uniter pin on his back into one of the holes on his shield.

No, Nono... The two-element thing doesn't make sense. The storm beast, You know, STORM, Being Ice and WIND. Lava beast also makes sense with fire and stone. And quake beast doesn't make sense with either of the remaining ones, Earth and... Wind? No, It's a ground thing. Water? Why would it be water? It's an earthquake. I like the idea too it just... Doesn't match up.
