It's still embarrassing next to a smiling 98 year old lady in a Toyota Corolla

High performance brakes will squeak more than daily driver until they are fully warmed up. Try to do a few quick stops from 50 mph to 5 mph and see if the brakes are still loud. If not - they work as designed. The difference is that now you can do another 10 stops and they will still work, while those quiet from the beginning, will be beyond fade already and the brake pedal will become mushy.

BS. I'm trading my 2018 macan turbo because it sounds like a freakin truck. All the bull about normal is just stupid. The noise is just over the top. I have several high performance cars with better breaks that don't sounds like nails down across the chalk board.

@@oB_Session nope. They even replaced the rotors and pads. That didn’t work. Then I used a special ap they recommended to record the break noise and they sent to Porsche engineering in Germany. They sent me a standard letter (snail mail) stating this noise is a normal sound for this vehicle and it is to be expected of high performance vehicles. This is bs because I’ve had other Porsches that didn’t make this noise.
