I think this idea is very good for spring or fall outfits - not for winter ones. I can't possibly go out in winter with an open coat as i will freeze to death, so the whole idea of the outfit goes almost entirely lost. Take for instance the white ensemble, try to close the dark coat you are wearing it with: the only thing you will see is a small hint of the collar and a chunck of the trousers between the hem of the coat and your shoes. I don't think that would work, as this will create to many horizontal lines that would cut your frame in soo many wrong places. No, i think for real winter this must be reconsidered
