Wow, I am so happy to get a comment like this from you! Makes me happy I made the video and that it was so useful for you! I might have saved your day but you made my day with your comment! Cheers! :D
Hi! Do you keep the toothbrush on the charger at all times (except when of course, you use it)? If not, is it OK if you do? By the way, I hope your Oral-B Vitality is still good up to today!
No I don't keep it on the charger at all times but I don't think there is an issue with it. I assume it will be fully charged each time you use it if you do that. The battery life on it is now a lot less though so I have to charge it every few days anyways. 2 to 3 days max I can go before the battery dies. But if you were to keep it on the charger at all times then you will pretty much get full strength without issue. But if you're doing what I'm doing then you still will have to put it to charge fairly often after the brush gets a bit older. When I first bought it I could go a week on one charge but not anymore! When charged it works just like new though so in that sense it is fine. Hope that helps! Cheers! :)
@@Kaygee79 Thank you so much! I just got mine yesterday and figured to watch a video about it and, here I am! Other vids suggest to only charge it for 16 hours, but others suggest to just keep it on at all times. Based on you reliable tip and your honest review, I will just keep it charging so it is more convenient, and since it looks like that it will be quite safe to do so. Also, I really liked the video, it gives all the features about the toothbrush. Once again, thank you very much for the quick and detailed reply! Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
I probably should have demonstrated how you should floss before brushing as well! I do use Colgate Total with Whitening if you were wondering. I actually don't like the aftertaste of their new formula so I might be switching over once the tube I'm currently on runs out. Already bought a Crest 3D White to try next! We shall see! This could turn into something down the road... I guess you'll have to stay tuned to find out! :D
Wow using the same vitality tooth brush body for 15 years. You really got your ounce out of that brush. We have been using first AEG and then Braun electric toothbrush for the last 25 years and in that time my wife and I must have used up at least eight (sorry just counted and it was actually ten) different Braun tooth brush models. . Our problem with the Braun has always been the degradation of the NiMh battery with time needing to buy a new model every two years or so.
Wow, I am not sure why you had to change so many times. The battery on my first OralB Vitality lasted forever. That is why I could use it for so many years. Mind you later on in the life cycle it would drain quicker but I would still get a few days use out of it towards the end and then have to recharge it. So the battery did not have as much life but it never fully died out on me. It needed more frequent recharging but again that was close to the end of the life cycle. I don't know if I hit the battery jackpot. My current one I've had for a few years now and it is still working well. I charge it approximately once a week and it's doing a good job. Thanks for sharing your experiences as I am sure it will be useful to others who come by and read the comments! Cheers! :)
Hi, I just got my oral B pro 100 toothbrush and there is no light indicator while it’s charging. Does it mean it’s bad? Please reply so I could return it on time
I have no idea. I own a Oral B Vitality toothbrush and this video was just explaining how to use that particular brush. You may have to contact Oral B company directly or look up the specs on the product to know for sure.
Hello Shakil, thanks for watching and your question. So the body and base is rubber and plastic. The base is plastic and you can literally rinse it in the water and wipe it dry and it will be just fine. I normally just wipe it with a wet cloth from time to time to keep it clean my self. But as long as you dry it off before charging I don't see there being any problem. For me it has not caused any ill effect and charges just fine so based off that I'd say you would be fine with rinsing off the base with water to keep it clean as long as you make sure it is dry prior to charging. Hope that helps! :)
Just got mine. Were there little rings that go on the base for yours? Mine supposedly has something to supposedly hold it on. But mom noticed that what ever it is it's missing.
Are you talking about the little rings that go on the bottom of the brush head? If it is, that actually is packaged inside each individual brush head package. You have to be careful when you open it because that ring is in the brush head package sitting loose. So if you don't pay attention you might not even see it. Hopefully you didn't throw away the brush head package. It should still be in there. Hopefully you find it and then attach it to the bottom of the brush head! Let me know if you find it!
@@Kaygee79 No we didn't find the mistory thing. But we are charging the brush anyways. Mom saw later that what ever that was isn't critical and that in the cleaning picks it's not there. This might sound like a really stupid question but are there removable stickers on the bottom part? Seems like there are protective labels or something that need peeled off?
Hey, thanks for watching and for your comment. So as far as I know and remember, there is no removable stickers on the toothbrush or on the charger part on the bottom. When you open it up it is ready to use right away. Maybe it looks like there is something in the video but in reality nothing needs to be peeled off! Appreciate that you took the time to inquire and I hope this helps! Cheers! :)

Thanks for your feedback from the UK side! :)
What? I'm not sure what package you're talking about? I didn't read that on the box anywhere? Lol, it doesn't sound to me like you're talking about a toothbrush! You'll have to clarify!
Well I believe different Dentists may recommend different companies but I believe the two most commonly recommended would be Oral-B and Philips electric toothbrushes. I have seen the ads saying Oral-B is number 1 recommended by dentists so who knows if that is true or not. I can say that in general my Dentist and various Hygienists I have been to over the years always recommend using an electric toothbrush over manual toothbrush and that it does clean your teeth much better as long as you use it properly!
Yes you are right. I just leave it overnight and use it the next day. If it is plugged in, it should charge. I am used to not having any indicator light, but never had a problem with it not charging. But there is no way to tell except by trying to use it the next day etc.
What a unique question. I honestly didn't even notice that till you wrote this question. I had to go check my toothbrush to see what you were talking about. So I have never pushed that little button before, I no longer have my instructions for the toothbrush as it's kind of old now so if I had to guess maybe it's a battery reset button? Maybe if your brush isn't working eg the timer is off or something maybe it will reset it? Lol, I have no idea to be honest! I guess you can either ignore it or push it and see if anything happens! Great attention to detail on your part!
There is no way to set it. It is just built into the toothbrush and automatically gives that distinct vibration whenever 2 minutes pass. Anytime it goes off for me I rinse under the sink and turn it off. Then just turn it on again the next time I use it and it just runs and goes off again after approx. 2 mins.
Not sure what floss action you're talking about? I never mentioned anything about that in my video. Maybe that is a different brush head you're talking about? Not sure about that one. Maybe if you figure it out come back here and let me know lol! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment! Cheers!
When I recharge it I usually leave it from one morning after brushing, use it again later in the day and put it back on overnight. So I charge for more than 16 hours just to be sure it's fully charged. I typically charge it once a week. I haven't tried charging it for less time. You don't have to charge it 16 hours straight if you don't want to. Charge it for as many hours as you would like, and then see how long it lasts, then you can just charge it more often for shorter times. It should still work fine. It's good to keep it fully charged as much as possible so if you charge it up every few days it might actually be better! Good question!

I'm going to suggest that you don't use the same toothbrush for 15 years. I mean, I know you gotta get as much use as you can out of it, but really you should probably get a new one at like 10 years or something.
Alex, lol, you do realize that the brush head is to be changed after a number of months, so if the battery doesn't die, you can potentially use it forever. The body is cleanable as well so just gotta keep it clean and it's good. My battery was not lasting very long anymore and the metal piece that makes the brush move actually snapped off after all these years. So That was my sign to buy a new one lol! Imran you got the right idea, I was aiming for 20 years, maybe this one will make it! :D
