Maybe you know already maybe you dont but when the Tiana update hits the Playstation is ready to play with others now.
they posted the new road map this was a statement from the Disney Dreamlight Valley page:
Coming in the next update, cross-platform multiplayer will arrive for PlayStation consoles. This means PlayStation users will be able to play with friends on other platforms, visit their villages, share Touch of Magic designs, and engage in DreamSnaps challenges. Watch out for cross-save on PlayStation consoles to be added later this year!
