In Islam, the Devil is known as ʾIblīs (Arabic: إبليس, plural: ابالسة ʾAbālisa) or Shayṭān (Arabic: شيطان, plural: شياطين Shayāṭīn). According to the Quran, God created Iblis out of "smokeless fire or from the pure flame of fire" (along with all of the other jinn) and created man out of clay. The primary characteristic of the Devil, is that he has the power to cast evil suggestions into the heart of men, women, and jinn,
Iblis was proud and arrogant and considered himself superior to Adam, since Adam was made from clay and Iblis from smokeless fire. For this act of disobedience, God cursed him to Hell for eternity, but gave him respite until the Day of Judgment (Qiyāmah), after Iblis requested it. Iblis obtained permission from God and vowed that he would use this time to lead all human men and women astray to Hell as a way of revenge against them. By refusing to obey God's order he was thrown out of Paradise and thereafter he was called "Shaytan".

I just starting praying recently, and Shaytaan almost made me go astray. He tried to fill my head with doubt, interrupt my prayers with whispers, and made me question the legitimacy of Islam. But now that I know what he's capable of I can see it coming a mile away.

This is like the mujahid (warrior) to whom the enemy comes, but he resists him until he overwhelms him, and this is a mighty jihad (battle)… Hence the seekers of knowledge and devoted worshippers experience waswas and doubts which others do not face, because they (the others) are not following the way prescribed by Allah, rather they are following their own whims and desires and neglecting to remember their Lord. This is what the Shaytan wants, in contrast to those who are striving to draw closer to their Lord by seeking knowledge and worshipping Him. He is their enemy and seeks to prevent them from drawing closer to Allah.”

I have read the scripture. While I respect it, I do not personally find it consistent with the world as I know it. I believe that both the Bible and the Qur'an tell a story of Jesus that does not measure up to the best historical narratives of his life and aims (though, I will say that the Bible is more inaccurate). Jesus does not really hold that hogh a place in my heart, certainly far less than other teachers, such as Marx or Bakunin.

OK, here is one burning question (pardon the pun): Why is it that there is only heaven and hell, and that in hell, the least suffering person has a fate worse than obliteration? To me, it seems that most people deserve neither heaven nor hell, but something inbetween. For example, if a person's good deeds and bad deeds are equal, why are they not consigned to an afterlife of infinite mediocrity? Surely, they do not deserve infinite pleasure, but nor do they deserve infinite pain.

I'm very glad I am a muslim. But may I ask, since Allah knows the future and what will happen, he (thankfully) gave us an opportunity to have a life. But since Allah knows whats going to happen in the future, did he already knew Iblis would become jelous and become evil, and so Allah created the human from clay - because of the human, but also to make Iblis evil so he can test us if we listen to Allah (swt) or Shaytaan (iblis)...

There is only one reason why we have been created: it's worshipping the Creator. God only wants from you to believe in Him accept His religion and follow His prophets and messengers. I mean, ... every sin, every bad thing will be forgiven, even if you die without repenting. But if you deny God and His message it will never and ever been forgiven. Is it really worth it to live an entire life without doing this ONE thing? I dont think so. The hereafter is eternal, but this life is limited.
The key to paradise is worshipping God alone (Islam). And paradise is not cheep. If you do good deeds on earth without being a muslim you will get your reward, but you won't have anything in paradise. But if you accept Islam and do bad deeds you will enter paradise. Maybe Allah will forgive you immediately and you'll enter it or you will be "purified" from your sins by being punished. But if you just don't accept Islam the punishment will never end. Accept it and you will enter Paradise, at least some day.
The last man leaving hellfire will have a place in paradise that is so huge as the earth, and this 10 times. And the quality, joy and happiness is not imaginable huge as well.
Just think about it ans testify that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His final messenger:
Ash-hadu an laa ilaha illAllah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah.
أشهد أن لا إله الّا الله و أشهد أنّ محمدًا رسول الله.
Accept it and your sins will be forgiven and the path to paradise will be made easy to you.

If you read the Quran you'd know that some of the Tora and Injeel are in it. Which would make it quite clear that those books before were once right but were corrupted by man. People attempted to do that to the Quran but failed. All Qurans have the exact same amount of suras, verses and meaning, unlike all the other holy books. I've been thinking... Greek Mythology, Norse Mythology, Ancient Chinese mythology etc... They have a few things in common i.e. gods, gods of this, gods of that, corruption, killing, monsters and mysterious "legendary" creatures like Dragons etc... That's probably loads of crap they made up, or perhaps exaggerated and praised normal humans to a higher level and added some lies to create a story... ... BUT What if , they were talking about the Race before us? Yes, the Jinns so to speak... Calling themselves gods out of arrogance and what not. This is why in every tribe in any part of the globe, there was always a shaman, a druid, a sorcerer or some kind of spiritual guide who was basically trying to get the protection of a specific jinn, that they could call 'spirit of the forest', or 'spirit of the mountain' or whatever. MY friend the Incas and Greeks were advanced, well before the Muslims. Some of the stuff in Quran is wrong anyway i.e. mountains placed as pegs are factually incorrect. Science facts difficult to know but important would be: Time changes if you travel close to a heavy object, or say speed of light is constant for all observers , dinosaurs ruled for 100m years, age of universe , power inside atoms , people can be born gay genetically. Hence this would be spectacular science not known in that era and could have been included to show the authenticity of Quran BUT not surprising none written as too difficult for our ancestors Muhammad and friends to know at the time.
Do i have to explain this EVERY time to ignorant Muslims? Do they not bother with science anymore? In science proven theories such as theory of gravity and of evolution are much more than mere facts, theories are so called in science as they explain how a mechanism works they encompass all the facts accumulated and verifiable & new ones can be added. The theory of evolution has solid and overwhelming facts so much so, that even Muslim scientists accept it.
Example fossil variations are found in and can be dated in chronological order so finding human or rabbit outside of its era just once would invalidate it, guess what? Never happened. Also DNA proves the amount of our genetic code is linked to other creatures and it gets slightly less as you go back hence a family tree. We also see the DNA of viruses evolve continually through feedback to beat antibiotics and the immune response. I can give names and proof if you need? Again this proves DNA can adapt and since all living things are made of DNA we too have evolved... loads more evidence eg we still have genes for tails etc.

In science we have a hypothesis which is what you would call a theory wrongly in everyday language. A theory in science is much more , fact is just a fact. A theory of say gravity or electromagnetism for example encompasses all the facts available ie facts and equations on volt, amps resistance, field effect etc, verified , tested with evidence AND available for others to test and retest.
A theory explains the mechanism of something and how things operate , more and more facts can be added when discovered so it is more powerful then calling it say a fact of evolution or of gravity. Muslims especially seem to ignore this concept and wherever you go the bare mention of theory and the same garbage (no offence) is spouted its just a 'theory'. scientists must pull thier hair out at ignorant muslims and their arrogance. WHICH is a shame because as you know the arabs and muslims when the west were in thier dark ages where pioneers and leaders of science, and science owes much to them.
In scientific circles it is well established now after nearly 3 centuries of facts even before Darwin that evolution was happening now we have a solid theory and yes with more facts. Only Muslims deny.
Did you know that the Catholic pope hence the Catholics have accepted the evolution theory? And many Muslims incl scientists eg usama hasan, members of Muslim council of Britain and others also i can name believe it.
The only difference with them is they either say humans were place separately by Allah (evidence shows otherwise) or more plausible (but clutching at straws) others say humans existed and had evolved already which Allah knew would happen and had a ready made Adam and eve which he introduced into the equation.
Either way evolution is fact.

Im a Muslim elhamdulillah and i love those videos i watched so many of them they are very informative. But watching this one shows me that we humans are not better than the jinns that had been defeated by the angels.....may allah guide humanity on the right path and insallah we wont end like thr jinns

I heard from Indonesian ulama that when creating Nabi Adam, Allah using "I" but when mankind created Allah using the word "We". Because it involved our parents, and other factors, just like how rain is created when there is other process involved it is "We"

Woww!! I liked this one! I also read it somewhere else in spanish and its almost the same. I have to go back to the spanish where it pieces up all, ALL together! The part where it says Jinn is like grey...where they marry, to curruption of this earth.....and many other parts to it. It can also lead straight to where the times of the Pyramids....secret cults.....uuuuu man....ther´s a lot of work. Seems easy, but the simplest things have many divisions where it also connects very well to my major understanding. From here I will continue my extensive research yet it can get very complex.
