Love your videos brothers. Experienced my coldest night hammock camping last year when me and buddy were off turkey hunting public land in New Mexico. We got 10” of snow on our 3rd morning (stayed 1 week) and got down to 17 degrees. Stayed warm and cozy and slept WONDERFUL in my Warbonnet blackbird each night. It was wonderful. I know 17 degrees isn’t much for people like you but for us south Alabama boys it was COLD but it was tons of fun as well. God bless you brother.

@@BaumOutdoors We started using hammocks 6 years ago and haven’t looked back. I know it’s a personal preference between hammocks and tents but my hammock is just so much more comfortable for me. I’m using a Warbonnet top quilt and Hammock Gear bottom quilt. It has it’s drawbacks from tent camping but the comfort level is just so much more superior for me.

Both tents are awesome Kenny!!! There's just something about the Stovehut 70 though... I have owned one ( as my only tent) for over a year. Cozy and fun. Also super easy set up. I am intrigued by the Tipi tents tho.... Time will tell. 😊 Thanks for another GREAT video my friend!!!! 👊👍

Hi, enjoy all of your winter videos, however, I think this one, cinematically, is the best one yet. The morning shots paired with the music chosen was just heavenly.
Hubby and I own a retail meat market (been in business now 28 years) and when we first opened, we processed A LOT of deer for customers, so hubby definitely knows how to cut up a deer and always liked the blackstrap. We don’t do much deer processing now, bc we’ve been sooo busy with regular meat. We’ve been blessed definitely. Kenny, I absolutely love your videos and absolutely LOVE when you camp in the snow, it’s sooo quiet and peaceful, definitely a time to be close to God. Looks like you and Steve had a very nice and relaxing and fun time. Only wish I were there camping too 😊❤️ . Kenny, what a neat video. Many of those camera shots are Christmas card worthy. When you and Steve were fishing I figured starvation was on the Dinner Menu. 😁 Back strap deer is the best part of the deer. I like that new Pomoly stove. The lever to open it up would be better if it was to the side so it would be easier to open. What a picture perfect place to camp. Nice fire. Nice food. The snow made the trip. Nice stove. I like the ash pan and if I recall, that brand has reburn features. Which means less smoke going out and makes your wood last longer. I'm looking at a mid size model in the $400 range.
Happy to see you out adventuring with a new friend. Haha, I had a ranger tell my friends and I a similar story during Thanksgiving 2010 while backpacking in Zion NP. We had to wait for them to plow out our car 3 days later when we returned. It probably snowed a foot while we were out in the backcountry. You didn't look very warm in the morning when you woke up. Were you warm? Happy you were able to help showcase another RUclipsr. Maybe it's something you could do once a month. Pay it forward and help others with subscriber counts under 5k or 1k. That's how I've been introduced to many great channels. Spreading the wealth makes you richer.

My cane would just sink and slip, so I wouldn't be able to walk. My walker would sink too, but I still might be able to walk a little better with it, depending on how deep it was. Better for me to just stay inside when it snows or rains, if possible. God bless y'all.

We love fishing especially all the lakes around Mt.hood. We camp only in the Summer time. It's very cold in Portland right now. I don't think I can deal with the cold. But hey we have you camping in the cold for us. Even tho we can't experience the cold camping at least you give us an experience just watching you lol.

Oh Yes! Tents! My tent was a “Knock Off” of some known Tent Maker ! The tent pegs were useless , the poles weren’t galvanized! And it leaked! It’s rather refreshing to see a Quality Tent being employed for winter camping!

That's a lot of snow.It's hard to be cold, but it's a very nice camp.The scenery is too great.

Both tents are awesome Kenny!!! There's just something about the Stovehut 70 though... I have owned one ( as my only tent) for over a year. Cozy and fun. Also super easy set up. I am intrigued by the Tipi tents tho.... Time will tell. 😊 Thanks for another GREAT video my friend!!!! 👊👍

I especially like the stove. It's a portable style, but I like the fact that I can use a large firewood and scrape off the ashes.

Hubby and I own a retail meat market (been in business now 28 years) and when we first opened, we processed A LOT of deer for customers, so hubby definitely knows how to cut up a deer and always liked the blackstrap. We don’t do much deer processing now, bc we’ve been sooo busy with regular meat. We’ve been blessed definitely. Kenny, I absolutely love your videos and absolutely LOVE when you camp in the snow, it’s sooo quiet and peaceful, definitely a time to be close to God. Looks like you and Steve had a very nice and relaxing and fun time. Only wish I were there camping too 😊❤️ . Kenny, what a neat video. Many of those camera shots are Christmas card worthy. When you and Steve were fishing I figured starvation was on the Dinner Menu. 😁 Back strap deer is the best part of the deer. I like that new Pomoly stove. The lever to open it up would be better if it was to the side so it would be easier to open. What a picture perfect place to camp. Nice fire. Nice food. The snow made the trip. I really enjoyed this video. Thanks for going through all the effort to put it together. Keep the faith my friend.

Nice stove. I like the ash pan and if I recall, that brand has reburn features. Which means less smoke going out and makes your wood last longer. I'm looking at a mid size model in the $400 range.
It worked very well and was very efficient! Really enjoyed it! Lots of good stoves to choose from!

We had to wait for them to plow out our car 3 days later when we returned. It probably snowed a foot while we were out in the backcountry.

My cane would just sink and slip, so I wouldn't be able to walk. My walker would sink too, but I still might be able to walk a little better with it, depending on how deep it was. Better for me to just stay inside when it snows or rains, if possible. God bless y'all.

We love fishing especially all the lakes around Mt.hood. We camp only in the Summer time. It's very cold in Portland right now. I don't think I can deal with the cold. But hey we have you camping in the cold for us. Even tho we can't experience the cold camping at least you give us an experience just watching you lol.

Oh Yes! Tents! My tent was a “Knock Off” of some known Tent Maker ! The tent pegs were useless , the poles weren’t galvanized! And it leaked! It’s rather refreshing to see a Quality Tent being employed for winter camping!
