So many memories are coming back from when I travelled solo to New Zealand... I wanna cry! The best experience I've ever had was when I travelled on a tourist bus to Milford Sound, and the driver shared so many amazing stories about New Zealand. He was one of the few man who helped building the road to this amazing attraction! Absolutely incredible experiencex
Your videos always help me so much appreciate the beauty of life and the importance of taking care of the planet. Plus.. you guys are the best. Thank you always for sharing 😊
Love this vid - it's bringing back so many great memories! I did Moke Lake (the walk around the lake, still lovely!) and Bob's Cove during a nine day road trip around NZ's South Island last year!
I have been absolutely loving this NZ series, Zanna! All the hikes, amazing vegan food, incredible views, Ant's dad jokes..what's there not to love?! Have a safe journey back to the UK
Hey Zanna, what mascara do you use? Your eyelashes are always killer!! Also, love you & Ant’s relationship & travels! Wishing you guys the best during this scary time!
I bet the water was still freezing right? You two are such cool people, inspiring for the young and old. I have just learnt more of your story, Kia Kaha. Stay safe where ever you two are now in these trying times.
Funny story about Moke Lake; I did a trip around the south island with a friend in a campervan in 2012. For our second night in Queenstown we wanted to use one of the DOC campsites, but the one we originally planned for was already full. So we had a look in our guide and decided to try out the Moke Lake campsite, even though it was quite late already. We had to drive into the mountains in pitch black, on gravel roads that made our cutlery dance in the back of our campervans and nearly had a heart attack when a cow suddenly appeared in front of our van! During the drive we promised each other that when we arrived at the camsite and there would be no one there at all, we would drive back again, because we did not want to stay in the middle of nowhere, all alone 😂 Altough it did feel quite strange (we were greeted by some random excavator, there seemed to be some construction there) and we had no idea where the lake even was, we stayed, because there were two other vans. In the morning we were woken up by someone knocking on our van (second heart attack!) which just turned out to be the guy collecting the campsite fee and we finally got a view of the lake. To be honest, I don't remember it quite as beautiful, because the day was very gray and overcast... So, long story short, thanks for giving me a new perspective and showing the beauty of Moke Lake! 😂❤
Mwahaha! We have converted him! 😈😂 I never would have guessed that you are afraid of heights with all of the hiking you do (as some of the ones on here that you have done are scary to watch for me, as I am scared of heights too!!) so congrats on controlling your fear! As I know how hard that can be sometimes/all the time! xx

Osprey!
Ant definitely has an Aussie accent in this 😂😂
He picks up accents so easily 🤣
V geeky question but what backpacks have you got? 🙈
Osprey!
@@ZannavanDijk I was coming to ask this as well. It looks like they are the hydro style packs, and I didn't realise Osprey did those. ☺️
