Great Horned Owl vs Squirrel

Great Horned Owl ( Bubo virginianus ) female with a Squirrel. This mother got the squirrel from the male and was going to the nest to feed her chicks ,but too eager / unexperienced photographers prevented her. She stashed the squirrel in a tree for night delivery , common sense is sadly lucking nowadays. Great example why many people don't share nest locations. Video taken on 4-14-2024 in Illinois.
