Are mushrooms under Maple Trees Edible? There could be other types of mushrooms that may not be this type, though the only ones I've seen yet in my few years of learning what I can eat in nature, I've only seen Honey Mushrooms under the few big maple trees I know. There is other videos that do a great job at Iding identifying honey mushrooms, so I didn't put much effort into this, though, shared some key things that help me identify them. Always make sure you know what you have before you eat it and if unsure, taste and smell and texture is not enough, some amatoxin types look 100% different so no common tail or tell, and are reported to smell and taste fine too, get sick, recover, get sick again some days later and die from kidney liver failure type of shutdown because the body cant expel amatoxin readily, though there is reported ways too, I'm not sure off hand, id quickly burn some toast considerably though still palatable w butter and eat it for activated charcoal effects w water, then follow w milk in 5 mins and have something w reg sugars too, shoot probably some cooking oil on bread or whatever you like, these aren't nonsense ideas, I'm considering everything things readily bond with in my kitchen... did you know most fruit seeds are deadly poisonous to us yet because the way the chems are bonded within them, most are safe, as long as the bond doesn't break. So anyways, after my quick knowledgeable snack I would also get back to researching for the best answers on amatoxin, as going on dialysis w trial and error meds doesn't sound fun and success stories there are limited...
