I use the same clamps and a flagpole I got from harbor freight. On my Globetrotter I ran the cable into the hole under the floor that the battery cables come in. I put the router in the cabinet under the couch, and just used a short extension cord to provide power. My new Flying Cloud has the Ethernet Smart Connector built in. I also have a 150’ of Ethernet cable for those times I need to move the dishy away from the camper due to obstructions. It works about 90% of the time.
Thank you for taking the time to make this helpful video! And for sharing the related video you reference to help you learn how to splice and attach the Ethernet to the Starlink cable. Your use of the Smart adapter to attach the Starlink cable to the dish makes sense. What's still a mystery to me is how you were able to get the Starlink cable "inside" your Airstream from the new Smartplug adapter. Did you have to run the Starlink cable from the Smartplug through a wall or two? Did you have to remove a cabinet/seats for access to run it? Did it run directly to the existing cable TV coax receptacle? Thanks again for your time and willingness to share your experience.
I used a "fish tape" to poke through the Smart adapter hole (before I screwed the new adapter in). That was enough to get the cable through the wall. I did unscrew some of cabinets to retrieve the cable. I did not take the seat off.
I did splice the Starlink cable myself. I'm not sure what you mean by plug, but if you're talking about the ends I used the ends that came in this kit I bought: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TBMYBMT If you're talking about the receptacle/coupler, that was built in to the Smart Plug adapter I used.
You talked about watching a video that explained the splicing of the Starlink cable so that it could use Ethernet connector of the smart plug. Do you have a link to the video? Great video.
I think I used T568B, although as long as both sides match up I think it will work. I think that would only be important to minimize cross talk between pairs of wires, but since I don't know what the wire use of the starlink cable is, I'm not sure either T568A or T568B would help with that.

@@dragonflyoutpost Thank you for the additional details! Super helpful.
Great video! I like your pole mount solution the best. What thickness is the Neoprene strips you used? It looks like two pieces of 1/8" thick. Thanks
Yes 1/8” - this one
Neoprene Rubber Sheet, Rolls, Strips 1/8" (.125") Thick x 1" Wide x 10' Long Solid Rubber a.co/d/1v3Op6C
Which ethernet plug did you use? And did you splice the SL cable yourself?

I watched Hathaway we go. Excellent tutorial
Also, did you use T568A or T568B wiring diagram?
