Grinspoon was the 2nd band I saw live when I was a teenager. It was also my first moshpit experience lol. Me and my friend got pushed over and ended up on the ground losing it laughing while trying not to get stepped on. Luckily someone helped us up so we didnt die lmao. overall a fun as hell night lol

I've seen these guys live a few times and they were actually here a couple of weeks ago and rocked the place down.
Next Australian band you should do is Ne Obliviscaris - And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope (live Colorado 2016) it a masterpiece of heavy music and is studied at a conservatorium of music alongside famous composers of the past.
It's a 12 min song which doesn't feel like 12 minutes. The musicianship is impeccable and will have your jaw on the floor. It also contains a surprise or 2.

Not quite. This song does sound a little nu-metalish but the rest of their catalogue is hard rock and commercial rock later in their career, check out "DCx3" "Bad Funk Stripe" "Chemical Heart" or "Post Inebriated Anxiety" to get more of a feel for them. Also this was released in 1996.
