    I love this series. Please, please, please do one addressing techniques for us with short t-rex arms to help with back carries. Carries like double hammock seem impossible for me. Also, I would love to see you do a Q&A. Thanks to you and cutie Felice!

    I love your talking videos❤️
    I used to hate this carry because I felt like it put too much pressure on my lower back but I started to flip the middle of the wrap to hammock the "seat" and it helped a lot🙂

      O yes I used to hammock it when he was smaller but feel like it's not really working as well anymore now with his long legs. 😅

      For those who wonder what hammocking the seat looks like:
      ruclips.net/video/pBLCy3qyWD8/видео.html
      The other side of the wrap will be spread on your back and you use the width of the wrap to seat your child

      @@Wrapyouinlove true, the bigger kids don't usually stay in the wrap for more than half an hour anyway 😎

    Suuuch a good series!!! I learned so many tips! Small things which make such a big difference when carrying a heavier baby! I was doing some wrong things while setting up this kind of carry. I am doing the sling ring at the back kind of front cross carry as I don't have to do any knot bellow baby's bump and it doesn't put a lot of pressure on my belly - I had ombilical hernia sugery and cannot stand that 😑 You are right, this kind of carry is perfect for when you have any kind of belly issues. Ring slings are also perfect for that, but my baby is "jumping" up and down and I'm kinda scarred of carrying her in a sling anymore 😔

    Thank you for this video! I like the addition of the shoulder flip to keep the fabric away from my baby’s face. I hadn’t tried that before, but I think it will solve one of my problems with front cross carry. I really want to perfect this one because I’ve been looking for an easy poppable carry to use with my five week old who wants to be worn all the time. I have two wraps, a thicker size 6 (base size) and a much thinner size 4. I love my size 6 for FWCC, but it seems to leave too much bulk between the legs in this carry. Maybe I am just doing something wrong, as I am very new to using woven wraps. Any suggestions for using the size 4 without a ring? Thanks for your great content!

    I found you years ago and love how you always show set by step but I do enjoy your talking ones, it helps in understanding why instead of trying to watch and read your directions lol, I had to rewatch many times. I am wondering is there an age limit or maybe weight limit for carrying and what kind of fabric is best please? My youngest just turned 5 and many times I've thought of putting him in and wrap and carrying him

      At some point the legs get so long it's less comfortable for you, but there's not really a limit only the limits of your body. A backcarry is the better choice for a heavy child.
      Personally I prefer thicker or fluffyer wraps, those often are softer on the shoulders.

      Thank you I will give that a try, and I cant wait to try the flip shoulders cause that looks more comfortable then how I use to do it. I recommend you to all who are new to baby carrying thank you so much for all you do and you have a beautiful child

    Thank you for this! I love front cross cary but our boy likes to have hands out already. Can I do that with FCC? Or would you advise on doing different carry?

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  3 года назад

      It's getting more risky for leaning when your child has the arms out. If you stay aware of that risk and try to pull up more fabric towards the armpits , it would be okay but just stay aware of this risk that the baby can lean and flip backwards when the layers fold down.
      A front wrapp cross carry is a saver option

    Man I love your videos. haha. I still can't get the shoulder flips though. I have a Rainbow wrap. So If I start with the top rail being purple and the bottom red. When I flip and put the baby in do I bring the red rail up the nape of the neck (does the red rail become the top rail after the flip? Or do I bring the purple to the nape of the neck (the oringal top rail before the flip)? I hope this make senses lol.

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  3 года назад +1

      Start from the shoulder, which edge is on your upper arm? This one should be at your child's neck. The edge closest to your neck goes along the bottom of your baby

    • @biancamillen3666
      @biancamillen3666 3 года назад

      @@Wrapyouinlove so the purple rail would remain the top rail. I've been trying to pull up the Red rail to the nape of the neck of baby. So after the flip the top and bottom rails remain the same as if there wasn't a flip at all. I shall keep on practicing. We are all so lucky to have a youtuber like you ;)

      @@biancamillen3666 It's hard to explain in words, If you look at the end result the part that is close to your neck, should be at the bottom of your baby, and the part that is on your upper arm, should be at the neck of your child.
      Without a flip you would have the same color close to your neck and on the neck of your baby.
      Idealy the line from your child's neck should be horizontal towards your upper arm.
      Did you prepare the shoulderflips before you put the baby in? I feel like this really helps to visualize and make the fabric more neatly. Once you put your baby in, start from the shoulder with creating the flip when you spread the fabric. Bring your hand under the fabric, grab the edge that's on your upper arm. Try to make sure the fabric stays on your upper arm and pull to spread the fabric up over your child's back and creating the flip at the same time.
