In this video, you learn how to play Danny Boy on guitar.
I will take you through a simple arrangement of this classic traditional irish tune, highlighting the incredibly beautiful melody while also playing the chords at the same time.
The form of Danny Boy is A B, meaning there is an A section and a B section to complete the tune.

Great lesson, although I would have liked to understand the tablature for melody and the bass note pattern separately. Without understanding the pattern, its hard to break and understand each measure
@praveenlokhande1983, thanks! What did you not understand about the melody and chord breakdown? I am assuming you are referring to the first part of the video.

@@acousticguitarlessons I am a beginner and follow your lessons, and thought best way to learn or memorize is to practice first melody notes alone, bass separately and than adding up both together as I get comfortable.
I see bass root note is on 1st beat of every chord. But it’s also on 3rd and 4th beat of C and 1st, 2nd beat of G. Si Is their a pattern which beats get the bass note ?
Another thing, G and G7 1st beat seems harmony to me (strings 23&4) but not on other chords. Do only certain beats get harmony ? Thanks 🙏 in advance
