Which one has the best wet weather performance? I try to change tyres in Oct just as the monsoon arrives, so that I have a fresh pair for commuting in shitty weather. On my previous 600cc bike, the Michelin PR4 is the King of Monsoon in my book. Metzeler Z8 and M5 get honorable mentions. Now I just got myself a new 400cc bike, I'm going to run down the stock MRF hoops till Oct before getting a fresh pair for the rain. My only experience with Pirelli Angels was with the STs, which were totally shit. Held up till 14000kms and then it gave up spectacularly - the middle band started to strip and flake off in chunks!
Hi! It's definitely Pirelli Angel City with its large and deep tread to efficiently evacuate water but grip is just average and cannot be compared to softer tyre such as Metzeler Sportec M5 and the Pirelli Diablo Rosso... I didn't ride so aggressive and the Angel City still can stand till now which has taken me to more than 20,000km of mileage... If money is not a concern to you then you may go for Michelin PR or Pirelli Diablo Rosso which is good in both dry and wet condition...
Thanks! everything good! i have the KTM RC390, and i decide to use the Pirelli CT now. My bike came with the Metzeler M5, and yes, i felt more confident with M5, but Pirelli, for street road is excelent, specially as you said, when the wather is not too sunny to road! Thanks for ur video bro, ride safe. Greetings from Mexico!
Great! The Angel CT is a very good tyre for dry and wet as well it can gives more mileage... But as you said I also can feel more confident with M5 for fast cornering experience... Else the Angel is still a very good tyre... Thanks bro
M5 110/70 & 150/60 no more selling in Malaysia. Except those bike shop still have old stock. New stock min is 120/70 & 160/60 So my ktm Duke 250 need up size for it.
160/60 won't fit in Duke as the tyre will scratch against the centre swing arm and 160/60 is more heavy than 150/60 because it uses more rubber. It will affect the bike performance. So sad that M5 is not selling anymore
Duker Michael Vlogs so far didn’t scratch center swing arm bt I agree on the performance. Top speed is drop approx 5-8km/hr Now thinking to change other brand tyre that fit my default size ......
if Sportec M5 is not selling anymore then you can choose Sportec street... but i bet the performance is almost the same as Angel City or worst... my friend recommends me Bridgestone
Haha... Sportec Street range is available for both moped and small sport bikes which let me think this is a very budget tyre for budget ride... Price speaks for itself... RM400 for both front and rear is considered very cheap for sport bikes size and so never give to high expectation for it... cheers
Thanks for the video, I liked it. There is one question in my head, you said angel city has high tendency to skid. Is this happens on wet or dry? I'm a casual driver, I'm not looking to do agressive high speed cornerings, I just want safety in wet&dry to stop or turn in acceptable speed. Does Angel City can do that?
Thanks for the comment. I am using this Angel City until now and I am just using my sense during fast cornering to feel if the tyre would let me off. I have experienced before skidded on dry road one time at lean angle about 45° and after that I never wanted to do fast cornering anymore on this tyre. And sorry as I never ride fast on wet.
I know we should compare apple to apple... My tyre review here is based on my experience on my Duke and that's the reason I am including price for this review... Different price different riding sensation
Umut Şenol different tyre price range different ride quality... expensive tyre for better riding quality such as pirelli diablo rosso 2... for pirelly angel CT is lower grip due to its cheap price
Welcome... Angel CT is still a decent tyre but compound is very hard and a bit dangerous in high speed cornering... it have tendency to skid... i experienced a few times
I dont seek fantasy while riding. Most important thing about Angel CiTy is that, it warm up quickly. This gives huge amount of advantage if you make short rides. Duke 125 is a street bike. And most of the riding experience are below 45 minutes usually. So Angel CiTy could even be better than Diablo Rosso 2. İf you ride like i said.
Hard compound grip worse than soft compound tires. I agree that. But it does only in the optimum working temperature. When you ride in city, you will never be able to reach that optimum working temperature. So the situation can reverse to opposite.
Thankyou for the review, really helped my tire buying decision
You are welcome bro... Really glad that I can help you ☺️
Thanks for the review!
welcome and thanks for watching :)

My front tire now is sportec street, honestly don’t buy it, kinda bumping compare to M5.
Better choose other brand/model

How does Angel CT compare to Pirelli Sport Demon?
Hi! I have never use Sport Demon and so I don't know the performance of this tyre... But I will still go for Angel CT
Mengkuang dam ke?
Haha... Mengkuang dam dlm masa ditutup... Nak enjoy ride jln twisty tu
How can you compare two different types of tyres? City class vs sport tyre ??? Doesn't make sense!
I know we should compare apple to apple... My tyre review here is based on my experience on my Duke and that's the reason I am including price for this review... Different price different riding sensation
Wow , 22000 km ... My M5 wears off at 10400 km.
:D haha... burnout too much maybe?
My M5 rear tire wears off at 7000+ km
that is too much power slides
I got 10k from mine too
Haha... The adrenalin rush sensation is too good on this tyre
Summary please? İ dont have ten minutes
Umut Şenol different tyre price range different ride quality... expensive tyre for better riding quality such as pirelli diablo rosso 2... for pirelly angel CT is lower grip due to its cheap price
Thanks, I have bought Pirelli Angel CiTy today. For my ktm duke 125.
I will try and see its performance.
