Another nice property! I have enjoyed your videos over the last year so decided to visit Fundão to see the area for myself. Unfortunately I chose this last week so got to enjoy all that rain. It is a beautiful area and I enjoyed hiking on the Estrela and Gardunha mountains when it wasn't raining too hard. I like to dream about living on one of your properties but I think realistically it would be hard to abandon the kids and grandkids here in Canada.
That is my favourite land so far. And I have watched an awful lot of your channel. Crayfish sold it for me. Tells you how clean and pure that water is. I would fancy turning that into a Langoustini farm. 😀
holy moly! Thank you for that little tid-bit including the price of the contractor! I can't believe it's just 800 Euros to redo a bathroom! Do you know how many tens of thousands that would cost in Canada?
@@Farmerforfun It really was. Dropping little pieces of post-purchase expenses is very helpful. You often tell us the value of what could be grown, but I'm more curious how much in hidden costs there are.
Great video and a beautiful farm! I really enjoy listening to you and André. Amazing views! Looking to buy a farm, but this one is just too big for me.
Lovely video, Joseph. You and Andre make all the properties so interesting with your knowledge and experience. Loads of potential for the right buyer. What an opportunity. 😀🇵🇹👍
I would turn the big well into a (much larger) pond i think. Do some more digging. There seems to be plenty of water there. But first ... the mancave of course 😃.
Gorgeous property but unfortunately far too big for me. I'd have to look at ways to portion it off in smaller amounts of hectares which would be a shame. 👍👍👍
The price mentioned was 250.000 Euro's. I expected around 200.000 Euro's, before it was mentioned. Need some extra money to fix the place up a bit, modernize it. But for me this would be a nice farm. Location is not bad either. Pretty close to a city with everything you might need.
@@annavercauteren Thank you. I read somewhere that you needed to get a special tractor driving licence even for on your own property. It's hard to filter out real from fake sometimes.
Why this obsession with "modernising"? What is considered contemporary today will be outdated in 50 years anyway, so by keeping it as original as possible, can only contribute to the long term value. If you want a modern house, buy a new build, and leave the older properties to those who will appreciate them.
Lots of people like modern, I quite agree with leaving things how they are, but I can also understand people wanting mod cons, takes all sorts to make the world go round 😁
A lovely property and i would love to own one of those washers, awesome.

Awwww, that’s a shame! The first and only spot of rain we had since June!!!
@@Farmerforfun The area certainly needed it. Hopefully it put out all the wildfires.

Thank you so much, I love the crayfish idea, so cool!

Hello from Dracula land Transylvania Cold Mountains!!!
Hello!!! The Carpathians? a very top contender for our next holidays, both Mariana and I have read Dracula many times!
@@Farmerforfun Yes called the Carpathians Mountains very cold in the winter. Plenty of water and wood. Great for bear hunting.
Very good property, pity you guys didn’t open the blinds so we could see the house better…
Another great video
Thank you ☺️
I’m stuck in the states lol. Wishing I was on a farm in Portugal, growing and riding?
We too want to go to Portugal we're planning to go in the spring coming from Texas

Who wants to marry a farmer? 😮 I never heard of this! 🤔
That show originated in the Netherlands.
There's also a more recent North American version
@@insAneTunA..Farmer is looking for a wife. .... "Boer Zoekt Vrouw."

Do you need a licence to drive a tractor in Portugal?
Just a normal one!

I love eating crawfish, or crawdads in the deep south United States. 🎉 ❤ I would put the 'saying' but... 🦞
