Yesterday I was having dinner at a restaurant and when I went to the bathroom, I felt fear. And it was that very particular kind of fear that is empty and depressing.
I was curious by it, and I shed some awareness and I thought “I recognise this… this empty feeling”. Then it hit me “I recognise it… because it is within me. I recognise it because it’s MY assumptions.”
Big shift from just identifying as source of it. The feeling went away. ❤
Beautiful teaching Tom. I love the comment section too. This reminds of that famous scene in the Matrix when Neo meets the Oracle and she says many powerful things to him, two of which where "Know Thy Self" and later, when he is doubtful about the prophesy, "It looks like you're waiting for something.." But The One, the Self, the I AM...can only Be Now. There's no waiting for it.
Amazing. I get it now. DO NOTHING. get out of your head. Your in your own way. The universe wants to give this to you, once you STOP getting in your head about HOW to manifest. Let the universe manifest it for you. Human you isn't really manifesting anything
@@vd.s6158 our mind is trying to figure it all out. We let it go and hand it to the higher mind by simply DOING NOTHING.
I thought I was understanding these teachings, but now I feel like I am back to square one....and I've done a lifetime of book reading and listening to gurus.....I'm still trying though to escape the conditioning.....
And the naming itself... It's a "dead" line!
Not a living one.. Not an alive one!
It's not that God knows nothing about time, God is imagining time. Time and space is being imagined by God. That's us as God caught up in it's own dream. Tom is teaching us how to wake up from the dream, which is just God waking itself up.
