What’s crazy is the outfit in the video that the kid is wearing is the same exact one he had at that age. And the huge stadium is empty, meaning he felt like despite selling out so much, he felt alone :(
This song is about how at such a young age, him basically reaching the top of the mountain and no one was there for him, he didn't know who was real or not. He grew up meeting people who liked him only for his power and money. He couldn't reach out to anyone because how are you gonna understand a 16 year old with problems like this. People thought, "You're 16 and Rich, what problems do you have?"
Then making all the mistakes he did because he was heavily influenced at such a young age. Everyone across the world saw him make dumb and stupid decisions he was severely criticized because of those decisions, hence "Idiot kid". It just shows what money and fame really do to people...😔 This shit hurt man....It's really sad. The outfit is from his "My World Tour". He was 15-16 yrs old. The theater is technically full but because he felt so alone. He didn't really see anybody in the crowd when he performed. But, you see Justin there, so it's basically him older now, staring at his younger self saying "Everything will be ok".
so many people are doing reaction on this , i am so Happy that people starting to recognize him and treat him the right way. I dont know if you have been following him but this song is about when he was just a boy and in the MV , the actor wore his iconic suit when Bieber was younger. He has been criticized for many things he has been doing before that I am not allowed to tell . And recently he has been badly sick , that is why in the lyrics there was a part which he sang when people saw he was shit , they did not give a shit because they think he deserved it

Chance said regarding Justin's new music/album that its one of the best music he's ever heard in recent times and it reminds him of Michael Jackson's off the wall. Well we don't know how it is going to be. But these 2 new singles holy and lonely sound really good and amazing. Also his snl performance of both the songs were excellent. I think this album is going to be the most matured and best jb album ever

This song hits different when you're an og Belieber. Been here since 2010 and seen all the ups and downs of JB. This made me cry sooo much. It still does. I always get emotional when I hear it.
