N scale ditchlight repair on an Intermountain sd40-2 CP Rail 5737

I wanted to retain the factory detail on this awesome engine, so I put the leds behind the pilot.

I have an intermountain sd40-2 n scale..cp rail with nose headlight and ditchlights..the ditchlights are practically nil..could you fix this problem? Upgrading the ditchlights and if necessary the nose headlights too
.. Actuallyi have 2 that could be done. Is this a project you would do. I have another that i lost the ditchlight cover on one..what could i replace it with?
