Ever wondered what happens when a bunch of university friends decide to leave the internet behind and head into the wilderness? Well, welcome to our no signal, full chaos two-day trip to the Riverston mountain range in Sri Lanka!
We ditched our Wi-Fi (not by choice, RIP signals) and found ourselves in the middle of nowhere-literally. Stayed at this magical place in Laggala, which just so happened to be under a freaking waterfall! Talk about waking up to nature’s alarm clock (spoiler: it’s loud).
From hiking up mountains and pretending we’re fitness experts to screaming about leeches like it’s a horror movie, this trip had it all. Oh, and did I mention the questionable cooking experiments and late-night stories? Yeah, we’ll leave the gourmet title to someone else.
