Since I found out my sister had leukemia. ..everything is lost for me. No creating new things, no planner. I feel I lost my creative side. Not today. You gave me new inspiration. The fight to beat leukemia is strong. I know God is listening to my prayer. Starting mine journal today. Thank you for sharing and giving me something that I can express my emotion into. please say a little prayer for my sister. I will be forever grateful.
Zuzu I am indeed saying a prayer for her and I am so sorry to hear this. One nice thing about journaling your thoughts and feelings is you will have a place to go to pour out your heart to Him, yet still be strong and encouraging for your sister. He hears every prayer and sees every tear. That is exactly what this spread was about. If you email me your contact at SlapItHigh@TheResetGirl.com I would like to send you something. 😘
Aww.. Thank for the kind words. Thank you as well for the wonderful and thoughtful gesture. I don't know if you know I am not in US. I am in Australia. No need to send me anything because the shipping can be expensive. Your prayers and support and of course your videos gave me so much comfort. I've started my faith journaling couple days ago.. my sister is on that page. Again thank you.
I just came across this video and the Lord made me read your comment. I don't know who you are or how your sister is doing. But I have said a little prayer for her. I truly believe that NOTHING is Impossible with God. When He said IT IS FINISHED on the cross, He indeed took away your sister's sickness and pain. God bless you and your family. Lots of love
I love this video for so many reasons! Your creativity, your inspiration and encouragement, your willingness to try something new in front of others, your explanation of your thought processes as you work, introducing us to different products & showing ways to use them, helping us to "reset" our own lives...For all of this and more, thank you, Cori.
Cori, I am absolutely smitten with your faith journaling and am so happy and blessed that you are making process videos again. I can't even tell you how many times I've watched this! I'm making a faith journal, too! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This is a very unique way of journaling, you are very creative. Trying to put together a prayer journal and can't come up with a good way of keeping track of the answered ones. I too like quotes and will use your idea of popping them on a card to stand up and not get lost in the pages. Thank you for sharing your talent, very inspiring❣️
Loved watching this video on a wet Saturday here in Texas during the Harvey "storm". Sweet way to brighten my day and to inspire some creativity. I loved reading the Circle Maker and going back now and pulling out my highlights, and creating a similar book, would be both a great way to remember the stuff I read and a fun way to be able to go back and read it over and over again. Thanks for sharing your tips and ideas!!!
This is wonderful, love seeing you blossom in the faith journaling community. I have been watching your journey from day one and it is a blessing to see someone ,who is successful, give glory and honor to the one from whom our strength comes. I'm going to try this, I love it!
I love that I stumbled across this episode because I started faith journaling not too long ago! I look forward to learning new ways to pen my thoughts, acquire different study techniques and discover new tools to make my journals more visually interesting.
Once again Cori I love love love your Videos, they are my very favorite on RUclips. You have ruined every other one for me! You set the bar so high. I need to get back to decorating my planner that I use for memory keeping and listing, or start Faith journaling like this I really miss the creativity in my life. Love this! Love You!
Thank you for these inspiring videos. I'm rewatching them since I'm starting tonight with day one. I got a couple sets of the pencils on sale so I'm excited to try that. You are a true inspiration!
I have just started journaling on my colouring Bible and also doing more for my otherwise boring prayer journal. Thanking God for your gifts and for sharing your journaling ideas. Your vid inspires me to be creative again!
TheResetGirl, I just love your canal. Love the ideas you share; you are an inspiration for me!!! Since I've find you on RUclips my journaling, Bible study and quiet time has changed competelyl! Thank you for sharing! I'm so grateful!
I love this idea! I will be making one of these to use for taking notes during sermons at church. I struggle with attention span during long talks and writing and doodling helps me focus. This is perfect for me. And my notes won't get lost! Thank you!
God moments anyways! I can't believe I ran out of typing space in my comment area!! What a nerd I am!! I'm just soooo. Excited about finally getting started with something. I've been collecting supplies for months now to be used on the method that I finally ended up choosing! I love your journal and your methods! Making time to do what you love with those inspired creative moments is so important. I could go on and on, but I shall spare you!! I haven't slept yet so I'll blame my blabbering on that! I really just needed to let you know that you made my day and answered my prayers!! Thank you!! You're awesome!! I can't wait to see more! I will have to have a look at your Reset Girl shop!! Yeah!! Shopping!! Nothing wrong with that!! I already want some product that you're using!! 💚💙💜❤️
This was wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your process. I am very inspired to make my own notebook to write out notes from the inspirational and self help books I am reading. At the moment the books are filled will post flags marking the pages, but this idea will make it so much easier to reread the highlighted text. thank you again you are a continual source of inspiration.
Awesome! Not ready to journal in my Bible but thanks for sharing your process of faith journaling. I'm so ready to start collecting my God thoughts in one place. Bless You as you share. You are empowering me in my journey. :)
Hi there🙋!! Yay!! Just barely found you on RUclips :) Thank you so much for inspiring me to "just get started". I'm such a perfectionist that I'm afraid of "doing it wrong". I worry and think, "What if I don't like it"?!! It's time to pull what I have together and get going💃💃💃💃....
I love this a lot !!!! I just following Bible time with Mark and Cori. So I’ve also been going back and watching your older crafting videos. This makes my creative artist heart so happy !!! I was curious what kind of things you like to journal in your faith book? I want to make one for myself !!! I love vintage and romantic !
nice to see your video Cori! i always overthink both do faith journal or daily planner or any planning activity. you rite, i shouldnt compare to other's works. everybody has their own style. thank you so much! keep inspiring us yaa. God bless you
This was wonderful!! So inspiring! I journal in a similar way but I really like the amount of product you used on each page and the text blocks you create as you do it! Yay! Thanks! Can't wait for episode 2!
Just found these videos. They are so inspirational and I love your thought process. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. I is like you have been in my head.
I'm a big fan of this kind of journaling and you're one of my biggest inspirations of doing so. I fell in love with crafting when I watched your first video on RUclips and later joined Listers Gotta List group on Facebook. It feels so good and I never thought that I have a creative side in me. I've been lacking in journaling lately but seeing this video makes me want to start writing again. Can't wait for the next episode :)
I absolutely love this!! This inspired me so much. I started a journaling bible and would love to add this as an additional study feature. I cannot wait to start. Great job. God bless you! I am so happy I came across this. Please do more videos. I am a scrapper, so this is right up my alley.
Thank you for the recommendation for the book "The Circle Maker". I don't usually buy books completely on the recommendation of others. Your strong recommendation compelled me to look it up and use the "look inside" feature on Amazon in just those few pages this book mentioned two issues I am having and gives me hope that it will help me resolve them. Thank you again! I love the way you have found to use your journal and may try my own variation of it for my walk with God. God bless you.
OMG!, I just have to write and tell you how you have made my day and have inspired me to do the perfect thing!! That is, your idea of bible journaling. I have been skimming RUclips and seeing all these planner videos and have really wanted to get in on the fun!! I've also considered bible journaling. The you know, in the Bible itself. You have spoken to my heart as an answer to my dilemma. What to do?? Bible journal or planner and how and what to use! I'm ever so thankful to you for sharing this with me!! This truly is an answer to prayer. I've been wanting to do the best thing with my limited amount of time. I can't do the planner decorating and Bible journaling. But your method is perfect as you mentioned for writing down quotes or scripture verses or what I call God moments or "aha moments" which are generall
This video is inspiring me to start a faith journal! I've always been reluctant because, as you mentioned, there is this perception of not being able to "undo" your mistakes. You provided great solutions to this though!
I'm not a religious person, but I think this idea is brilliant and so adaptable to whatever someone wants to journal. I'm also an avid reader and could totally see myself doing something like this for a current book I'm loving with favorite quotes or something. Turned out Absolutely Lovely... I really love that, my style is a lot like that too. I use things that's been given to me or places I've been to do my journal.. it is so fun. Thank you for sharing... Be blessed love. 🌺
Love this video. I just recently started exploring Christian/Bible Journalling. Here in UAE there are very few stores where you can get stationery for cheap. Journals and embellishments are really expensive and I'm currently unemployed and searching for a job. Nevertheless, God is leading me to make one of these, and pray that it will strengthen my faith, draw me closer to God and be more focused during my quiet time. God bless you
I've been looking to get a Carpe Diem planner for a while now, and this gave me more inspiration of what to put in it! I saw the link for 20% off, so I looked in your shop and you have colours I've not seen elsewhere - part of my procrastination was that there were no colours I fell in love with, but when I saw the persimmon... It is beautiful! All of this to say I am now disappointed, as the shipping to the UK with a few extras came to over $60! I was happy to pay $7.50 more for the colour I want compared with other US sites, but $23 more for shipping even when I cut down to just the planner is a stretch too far! Such a shame, but thank you for the inspiration :o)
I don't believe in God and I am not any certain religion but the process video is still inspirational and has some great ideas. I could listen to you talk all day long. Your voice is so soothing. More process videos please!
Well thank you so much Bec, what a great compliment! I certainly hope you give it a try no matter what you feel inspired to journal about. I use this method just to decorate notes from reading. Its just an easy way to get crafty! Thanks for watching! 😘
Thanks for such a quick reply! I love this so much! how do you make sure your water color does not mess up the previous page? What pen and notebook is this that it does not react with the water?? Thanks! :)
I have been looking everywhere for those big rings to put your washi tape on! It is such a great idea, I love it. If you can please let me know where you bought it? I love watching your tutorials, they're great! I lived in Butte for 6 years and I miss living there so much, my son and daughter-in-law and grandson live in Great Falls.
What does INFP stand for? I started a Fauxbonichi about 2 months ago, I've pretty much been including various things in my life, books, magazine pics, etc. Thanks for the inspiration too.
Hi Crystal! It sounds like you need to take the Myers-Briggs assessment and find out your personality type! When I was going through my reset period, this was incredibly important information and was like a key to unlocking so many things about me, like the fact I was an introvert, the type of relationship or career path that would suit me best and so on. I highly encourage you to take it, as the information can be so helpful! Here is a simple and free version of the assessment here: www.16personalities.com/
Thank you! I really enjoyed your video and will enhance my bible note taking... What Bible or inspiration book were you using at the end of your video? It looks beautiful
Hi me and my son whos 11 have just started journaling something he mentioned that his friends don't seem to do that sort of thing so was wondering if you knew of anyone that would be a penpal with him any journaling crafts mums with children and maybe panpal for creative people for my age 51 also. Just tell me to go away if its a no-no I tried searching but its very daunting and just thought I would ask. Thankyou for reading.Love your videos x
Hi Klee! Most doris that are wide or extra wide tend to fit at least one MayBook. This one is a wide (she calls it "roomy") and I can fit two in there but that's it. Extra wide tends to be a safe bet 😉
From personal experience I have found regular watercolour brushes work way better than the pentel water brushes. You have A LOT more control with what you are doing.

Awwww thank you for your sweet comment and for taking the time to watch my video, Adele! Welcome to the Reset Community!
This video is inspiring me to start a faith journal! I've always been reluctant because, as you mentioned, there is this perception of not being able to "undo" your mistakes. You provided great solutions to this though!

This is cool! I bought a May Design Prayer Journal but never thought about doing journaling.
I'm not a religious person, but I think this idea is brilliant and so adaptable to whatever someone wants to journal. just an idea - why not do a combo journal / recipe book - keep track of your journey in the kitchen with a collection of favourite recipes - easy to keep using - previous generations had recipe cards in boxes but no stories to go with where the recipe came from or your successes (or not 🙄) with each recipe - my recipe "book" was started the year before I left home ('78) and is so haphazard with no plan and breaking at the spine (hardcover bound notebook) - need to begin again with just my everyday recipes and hopefully gathering some family stories to go with each before those memories lost - labels from special ingredients or photos from parties you served recipe at would be fun to insert as well - So sorry - this a faith journaling video and I kinda got off track 🙄😅
+Elizabeth Johnston Actually, that's sort of the idea! It would be cool to not only document my successes (and non-successes lol) with stories and a little journaling regarding those moments. I've already started this, but haven't made it "pretty" yet. But there was one dish I was making with my grandmother, and she started telling me stories about cooking with her mother and her aunts and it just added a whole other layer to the experience. I think it would be cool to create a recipe/journal of these moments and hand it down to my kids one day. Even the complete failures would be fun to read, I think! 😆

Beautiful! I started faith journaling this year and this has given me so many ideas on ways to use my supplies. I love these videos.
You are so talented, I love the way you put all of this together. Keep up the great work.
Like the idea of faith journaling!
So glad to hear that Janelle!
God bless you
God bless you too Asha! I pray your faith is strengthened and you are blessed with a job very soon!

So many great ideas!
Love how it comes together.

Thanks! :)
+mirianhope The paper is pretty sturdy and it all dried very quickly. I used a MayBooks insert for this.
I love this style! And your encouragement is inspiring! :)

I hope so Miss Angie! 😘
We sell them in our store, and today they are 50% off :) theresetgirlshop.com/sale/50-off/
Thank you so much! I went right over there and bought the largest one and can't wait to get it!!

Love it! This stamp... OMG!!! XD
Love this!
Thanks for your video. I was wondering what size your TN is that fit the May Designs.
You have A LOT more control with what you are doing.
everything is always so cute
love the extra large date stamp.....where did you find it?

As a matter of fact, I have some ideas for that! I have a couple things to launch first and then it's on! 😘
I have bags like that but a little longer thanks for this tip. I could just hole punch.
