The video I have been waiting for!! Thank you Becca. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Love the format, but then again you never disappoint. Please, more long arm demos.
I just got my Amara delivered and set up last week! I would love to see more. I did have a 2 day class before I purchased. Can’t wait to quilt my first quilt top on my machine!
I use magnetic bars to help hold my quilt down, as for the fullness I have a weighted square or use a can of beans to help keep the fullness dispersed. Sometimes it works great other times it doesn’t. Beautiful job and keep up the great work and hope to see more of your videos.
I really enjoyed this video - more content like this would be very welcome. (In particular I liked that you showed us how you worked around the fullness in the top and that you reminded me that finished is better than perfect!)
Love this Becca..love binding so wish I was closer..the quilting not so much but I do it from my home machine..getting a bit better but no free motion.. usually straight lines..loved this!
would love to see how you square up your quilts afterwards. I have a small space and find it challenging sometimes. Thanks for sharing your quilting journey on this quilt.
Yeah I loved it. I want a long arm so bad. I'm still quilting on my little singer. I am so tired of fighting to get the quilt into the throat of the sewing machine to to quilt it.
I enjoyed it! I've done a few quilts on the longarm at my local quilt shop and I learn something new with each one. Love the automation prostitcher provides. Congrats on adding this to your bag of tricks!
I loved watching this and seeing your experience as you get the hang of it. I think the format worked wonderfully. I bet it made things easier for you as well for creating this video. Congrats on the new toy. Be well. Looking forward.
Hey, Becca! Love that pantograph (sp?)! Huh! I cut yardage on the peninsula in my kitchen. I recently started opening the drawers to support the weight of the overhanging fabric. Great minds…🤣 Looking forward to tomorrow’s Sew Off Kilter live. In the meantime… Stay well! Muskoka ON 🇨🇦
WOW! You hve really came a long way in the quilting field. I remember when you were first starting to use a long arm and becoming a longarmer... Longarming amazes me as how it and you have advanced in same...
Thank you for sharing your lessons in quilting. What's the name of the green blocks quilt behind you on the wall in your narration video box? It's beautiful!
Hi Becca, I have a mid-arm q'nique 15pro with a CUTIE FRAME , no automation though. Have you watched Stitched by Susan ? She uses very thin clamps on the sides of hers, helps with fullness sometimes. Loved your story ❤️
Great video. I want to get a long arm set up like yours, I’m not sure I would use the long arm without the computer. What model Singer is that red one? I’ve never seen a red one before.
Hi! It took me years to get here, and I'm SOOO glad I'm finally all-in! Much like what you're thinking, I didn't use my longarm much when it didn't have the computer. :) As for the Singer, I sew primarily on a custom painted 1951 Singer 301!
Hi Annette - I have been primarily using Glide 40wt for quilting, and buy my thread wholesale from Checker Distributors. However, if you don't have the ability to purchase wholesale - I can recommend Linda's Electric Quilters!
Love the story of the quilt. Handi quilter is having a sale on the prostitcher and I want to get it. Problem is I have no shops near me to learn it. Is it possible for you to show the details on how to get started using it. It’s a huge purchase for me so not sure how to proceed.
Hey Zorina! Let me think about the ways I might be able to do that...I am not sure I have the right tech for this. But...I will say Prostitcher has a youtube site with LOTS of small digestible videos that are VERY easy to understand!!!
I love moms quilt💞👍🏻love that you jumped in and quilted it too
Thanks for the video of the long arm. I now understand more of the technique of the machines.
I loved this video AND mom's quilt! The colors she used and the borders are lovely. The panto you picked is a wonderful find too
The video I have been waiting for!! Thank you Becca. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Love the format, but then again you never disappoint. Please, more long arm demos.
Just now was able to watch. I enjoyed it. Thank you Becca
Love the content. I like knowing how the real long arm works. Thanks for all you bring to us!
Great video Becca. This quilt is like the "teaching quilt". You and your mom should both sign the quilt label.
Great idea!!

Hi Becca. I'm glad you are enjoying playing with the software. I get some cool pantographs that my longarmer chooses for my quilts.
Yes! I really liked this video. Thanks

I loved watching this video. I always wondered how the quilt was set up on a long arm. Very interesting.😊❤
That’s exactly how I do mine, love the drag and drop!❤
would love to see how you square up your quilts afterwards. I have a small space and find it challenging sometimes. Thanks for sharing your quilting journey on this quilt.
Loved this video! I love the story of your mom's quilt and the quilting. You did a great job! Thank you for taking us along!
Loved watching and how you viewed the entirety of that quilt's story, from you mom's work on it and your part in it.
I loved the different camera angles…especially the close up. 👍🏼👍🏼
So awesome! Just over an hour is amazing.
Becca thank you. I really enjoyed watching the quilt machine
Love this!

Loved this video. Makes me want to get Robotics for my new Amara.

I really liked this video. Cool to see how it works!
Glad you liked it!
Good to see the process
It’s super cool that both you and your mom made this quilt. Priceless. 💜
I think so too!
I use an iron and spray starch to take care of most of the fullest. Sweet quilt.
Oh, yeah, I do drop and drag, too.
Loved watching this Becca!
Yeah I loved it. I want a long arm so bad. I'm still quilting on my little singer. I am so tired of fighting to get the quilt into the throat of the sewing machine to to quilt it.
Yes! I have a sit down long arm. 😀. Now I think I need a longarm with automations 🙃😮😃
Love going on your quilting journey with you.
Great video! It makes me feel better about my long arming adventure

It was!
Wonderful idea to show how it's done. So Becca are you going to be designing pantos for the long arm?
Hey, Becca!

Really liked, like the size of machine, made me dizzy.
Nice.
Fun!
This was awesome love it
Hi Becca and everyone in chat
I love this! I have wished to see a long arm in action. 😊
Congratulations!!
Thank you!!
Thanks for sharing this
You bet!
❤
Loved watching this. We need a slower pace to actually see the stitching. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your lessons in quilting. What's the name of the green blocks quilt behind you on the wall in your narration video box? It's beautiful!
Hi! That's just a little mini quilt I made years ago - no pattern, I just made tiny blocks and put them together into a tiny quilt!
Hi Becca, I have a mid-arm q'nique 15pro with a CUTIE FRAME , no automation though. Have you watched Stitched by Susan ? She uses very thin clamps on the sides of hers, helps with fullness sometimes. Loved your story ❤️
I'll check it out!

I’m not brilliant with tech Becca, is the longarm difficult to learn?
No, not at all!!!
interesting
Looks like Tula Pink fabric
