Your thumbnails are great! For your amvs (I watched FireForce, One Piece and Boku No Hero), focus more in the beat of the music when changing scenes and I would suggest you to try separating the music into parts, look for the calm parts of the music (For calm scenes, impactfull scenes, moments before the battle start, and sometimes add impactful quotes behind it, but limit action) and the hype parts of the music (For fights and hype moments). In terms of your editing skills you don't have to focus on this because they are really great! It also always good watching other people's amvs for inspiration :)
