The fact that they even made sure the turret roof is 1mm more so it cant be overmatched by 122mm caliber guns is so frustrating. They didn't make this tank op by accident, they 100% knew what they were doing
I love it when I am in a tank with 330+ heat pen and can farm this broken piece of shh straight into the turret. Also, I always focus BZ players in order to punish them for playing game-breaking tank.
The Ap on the BZ is very usefull to farm Credits. And what iyouxin didn't mentioned in the Video with the AP you can overmatch Pretty much any Turret Roof and Medium Sites (up to 53.33mm Armor thickness) because of that 160mm Caliber. :)
Imagine if they make the whole line with Derp Guns? 180mm on tier 10, 1.1k AP DMG and 1.5k HE LoL I think would be fun, but not on heavy armoured vehicles

I have a BZ-176 and did play it enough, but some weeks ago I sold it (still have it in recovery, off course). Wasn't even playing it anymore for some time. Couldn't have fun with it. I have to admit that the more I played the tank, the more often I felt disgusted by it. Certainly in those tier 6-8 matches. This tank manages two things at once: being absolutely OP and being beyond toxic (like a Cobra or an FV - not op, but very toxic). The BZ-176 was the single biggest mistake made by WG since I have been playing this game. Nerf it!

WG is in between a rock and a hard place with this one. While it is overpowered they will catch so much hell from people who payed a lot of cash to get this and it is such a bad thing for them to start selling premium tanks and then clip their balls after they purchase them. I have had this Tank since it first came out and have only played it one time, but I do plan on using it to finish the hard Heavy missions soon
this definitely needs to be part of the game. It simply adds so much to the tier 8 meta. Just think of all the possible counters: arty, anything with 330+ heat (so shitpak and maybe 2 other TDS), arty, Skoda T56 with its AP, arty, and yea arty :)
Also love how it's regularly fights tier 7 tanks and they literally don't stand a chance. Imagine fighting the bz in an IS or tiger p ffs. I won't even mention tier 6.

I was tooning with a couple of really really good players this week. One of the players had an overall win rate of 59%, the other was 57%. For a dozen games or so, they both were running the Bz-176. It was wild. In a couple of games, they just dominated. In some of the other games, they did almost nothing. This tank is by no means 'idiot proof'.
We have a 69% win rate Unicum playing the tank with every single available crew skill, bond equipment and directives, hardly a normal representitive of a tank. Funny enough often these videos show OP set ups. Where are the 48% players with standard equipment doing tier 11 performance in this, or who hit 4k like it's nothing while sporting 54% win rates in their BZ? Yes it's an OP tank, played here with OP equipment and OP crew, played by an OP player getting OP results, yet play 10 random tier 8 battles and you see many fail to do 1k damage, while many of it's opponents sit letting it spend 20.4 seconds reloading. Seems the only players farming hell out of this tank are the ones who win anyway. So we have above 50% skilled players farming hell out of an OP tank no one can get.
I just cant agree with anyone that says that this tank isn't fun. Yes it is overpowered, it might be "digusting" to play but it is EXTREMELY fun to bully everyone that appears in front of you. "But it isnt challenging to play it" maybe in a 15-0 game it isnt, but if you build it for a ramming build for example, or play only with AP or decide to go to different areas of the map that you aren't used to, it adds variety to the gameplay with this tank. This tank might not be good for the matchmaker, but it is certainly fun to play
I still have this tank in my garage unplayed. Refuse to play it as I know how stupid it is to fight against, even 45% players can get positive win rates with this tank, so stupid. My 703 slaps this tank about pretty good, half the shots that land on me don't pen and do less than 300 damage, good thing lots of folks don't understand using AP to over match :)
This tank must be upgraded to lvl 10. Wargaming can not nerf it, but they can give it only t 10 matchmaking. To play against it is pain,look how in the last game everyone is just pulling back once 176 is peeking. Once it will on sale I’ll definitely buy it
The tank is indeed broken at tier 8, but the gun is really troll. It can be really frustrating at most times. I cannot help but smile every time a BZ 176 gets killed in-game.
i remember playing an emil 1 and came up against a BZ 176, it so goddamn annoying that their HE could penetrate my turret armour, it was so annoying it made hulldown with the emil so futile

honestly on the asian server, this tank isnt as big of a problem. we almost never meet tier 6, and i guess people generally know how to penetrate the bz176. plus there are plenty of op tanks in the game 1. Skoda t56 2. Foch 155 3. FV4005 4. KV2 5. FV215b(183) 6. Caliban 7. leFH18B2 just to name a few
this tank reminds me type 59. Ages ago it was as much broken as 176. It ended up nerfed, never had been in sale, then became morally obsolete. And only after that wg starting to sell it on rare occasions. Yeah it was mistake to put it in boxes but at least the number of this tank in random battles is insignificant.

It’s funny because it is absolutely overpowered and should be at tier 10. I was grinding the 50tp and couldn’t do anything to one of them. They hit me once and it hit my turret and penned and I couldn’t pen them at all. I ended up flanking around after 5 minutes of driving and putting only one shot into them before they turned and almost two hit me. No reason for a tier 9 to be outclassed completely by a tier 8. Better armor, mobility and gun. I don’t know about its view range or camo but with either tank those don’t matter since they’re too inaccurate to be used effectively at a longer range.
I remember being so happy to get this tank from lootboxes, but now it's just boring. If I wanted to play a tank with a derp, I'd rather play my Caliban, because at least that has some fun mechanics that you can play around with, while also having some limiting factors to make it balanced. BZ is just use rocket booster to get into position and go hulldown. It feels so lazy to play, and coming up against BZs in other tanks, it's horrible to play against.
they should at least reworks the shells, having a "bad shell" and premium "good shell" is dumb and since HE changes, High pen HE is much better. they could just give it normal AP, Heat with lower shell velocity so it can be blocked by track, fences and stuff, so if they bounce they dont do 200 damage still and HE with normal derp pen (maybe like 80), that would even out the playing field a bit, even tho it would still be too good, that would stop people just loading full HE since its just better. Since its not a "nerf" per say, they can say they "reworked and added shell variety" so they dont have to worry about having to refund anyone, since they didn't neft the tank.
They should put this tank in regular store so everyone can get it and then nobody would cry. Everyone will have the opportunity to play with it. Simple. Then they should put it in the „proffered” MM. Only with tier’s 9 and 10’s.😊
WTF is wrong with Prokhorovka after 2024 update? I played all week light tanks only and had only one (yes, one!) Prokhorovka map. One "random", if you know what I mean, map, in 400+ battles. What is weird enough, the area near main noob bushes were all burned, but no plane crah event happened, even though those useless events I have permanently disabled in the options, and ofc map is not on block. Any ideas?
People love to complain about this tank. Its not such a big deal honestly. In my last ~500 games at tiers 8-10 i only got penned once by that thing. People only see that they get damaged by a high number and complain. They dont have the tank and they dont know some of its limitations. It has a slower top speed than even the Pz7. Hitting the lower plate can be a direct fire. So either you waste an entire crew skill across all the crew for firefighting or you have fire extinguisher instead of food so even worse gun handling. Shots to the sides quite often damage the ammo rack. The overall gun handling is pretty bad and people dont realize that HE pen isnt the same as having the same pen with AP. No normalization + problems against spaced armor. Also good luck against most tier 9 and 10 heavies or even decently armored tier 8s. Or even meds with decent armor like t54 etc. And i know these things because i have actually played BZ, in contrast to 95%+ of the playerbase. And in case you are wondering, I rarely play with this tank anymore because I find it annoying to play.
This tank should be moved to tier IX without changing its statistics at all. It still would be super strong and at least it wouldn't be oneshoting poor tiers six.
This is why I exclusively play tier 9s and tier 6s. Tier 8 mm is the worst of all matchmakings since there is no regard to game balance in that tier. BZ 176 for example. Skoda. Borrasque. Even 90s, and more. It is not fun to play.
For me this tank is not that annoying, i never lost to it with my tier 9 and tier 10 tanks ( because i dont play low armored tanks that much ) i love bullying these things with my ae phase 1, e75, kpz 50 t, most tiers 10 this tank is only broken against low - mid armored vehicles of its tier or any tanks from tiers below
@@iyouxintwitch I've been shot and YOLO rocket rammed by BZ in my CS-44 once for all my HP and I couldn't do anything to avoid it. If it decides to focus you in a tier VI or VII tank you have absolutely no chance against that thing. This is the only tank that makes me switch flanks if I'm in a lower tier vehicle.
The tank is totally broken - give it an insane alpha, armor profile, gun depression...and so it can cross vulnerable terrain - ROCKETS. But they could fix this with matchmaking. Only drop them into 10/9/8 and 9/8 MM. Tier 6's should never have to come against them - it's just stupid.

I just had my 176 out and low rolled every shot. I was top tier too. 8 pens, all gold, 500 avg. :/ We won and I made a profit but RNGesus hated me the whole game.
Borsig is even slower. Some idiot on wargaming think that is fine a tier having 207hp engine. It is ok because it is german. Simply the shots fly for nowhere.

I think the main problem with this tank is accuracy and armour. Give it like 250 on turret and 0.70 accuracy and then it’s balanced.

The AP is for sure dmg on overmatches and tracks. See alot of bz splash instead of using the ammo properly.

BZ-176 is just the same crap WOT pulled back in the day with the type59 (which was OP as fuck in early WOT years)

In China,many products have some issues and fails,this in particular got the wrong Tier number.
A satisfying and challenging battle is not using any auto consumables, ordinary equipments and a zero skill crew.
Also, the other OP premium, the SKoda t56, does decent against the BZ176 because the skoda gun overmatches the BZ roof.
Lets say it that way - Almost every gun that have more than 440 alpha can overmatch his roof with AP

This tank should be moved to tier IX without changing its statistics at all. It still would be super strong and at least it wouldn't be oneshoting poor tiers six.
Hi. How exactly do you get that camera up high and moving? Just scrolling back and that's all? Or you have different settings or mods?
You need a setting commander camera (general settings on the right). And then just scroll up

I did that. It scroll's back, but when I want to aim, my cameras View goes down to the ground. Not like I can view from up top and shoot. 🫣

By far the most broken tier 8 alongside Skoda T 56. At least Bour requires a functional brain to play effectively.

This is why I exclusively play tier 9s and tier 6s. Tier 8 mm is the worst of all matchmakings since there is no regard to game balance in that tier. BZ 176 for example. Skoda. Borrasque. Even 90s, and more. It is not fun to play.

For me this tank is not that annoying, i never lost to it with my tier 9 and tier 10 tanks ( because i dont play low armored tanks that much ) i love bullying these things with my ae phase 1, e75, kpz 50 t, most tiers 10 this tank is only broken against low - mid armored vehicles of its tier or any tanks from tiers below

@@iyouxintwitch I've been shot and YOLO rocket rammed by BZ in my CS-44 once for all my HP and I couldn't do anything to avoid it. If it decides to focus you in a tier VI or VII tank you have absolutely no chance against that thing. This is the only tank that makes me switch flanks if I'm in a lower tier vehicle.

crazy to say IS-5 is worst when CDC and Kanonen 90 exist.
The tank is totally broken - give it an insane alpha, armor profile, gun depression...and so it can cross vulnerable terrain - ROCKETS. But they could fix this with matchmaking. Only drop them into 10/9/8 and 9/8 MM. Tier 6's should never have to come against them - it's just stupid.
This tank shows perfectly how toxic wargaming is. The fact that anyone gave this company money shows how deluded people are.
You make credits (37000 ) with 0 dmg dealt - with 1 prem shell fired and tank destroyed...so only by this is for sure credit maker :p

It works differently than you think. It is just staying lit for 13 seconds. I use a mod to do that.

I just had my 176 out and low rolled every shot. I was top tier too. 8 pens, all gold, 500 avg. :/ We won and I made a profit but RNGesus hated me the whole game.
Borsig is even slower. Some idiot on wargaming think that is fine a tier having 207hp engine. It is ok because it is german. Simply the shots fly for nowhere.

You can use tech tree crew on a premium of the same class. Example: t100 crew on a lt 432
