You will need to graft the cherry tree and the apple tree together to get a pomegranate. You'll graft it with an orchid to get the death flower. And keep fishing for an angel fish, you'll need one of them too, to make ambrosia.

Fishing at any sign in Sulani is broken (people said since lovestruck's fishing quest) but you can still fish from a boat in Sulani. So, prepare to only boat fish or use fish traps in Sulani for the the next decade (real life time, no exaggeration).
I hate what this event did with my game. Lagging beyond everything, like never did before, it's completely unplayable. I wish I could enjoy it but I literally cannot play. Unspeakable. Sulani fishing broke for me in the last update. You can still fish from boats thats why she was trying to swim out to a boat to fish, mine swim to nearest boat to fish.
With the exception of parenting, skill books are level 1-4 for book 1, 5-7 for book 2, and 8-9 for book 3. The new lot "challenge" pairs well with the haunted house type. You get an energized moodlet after being scared and gifts from anyone else on the lot who also got scared.
I had the same problem, I was able to find a solution on Reddit . You have to delete the accountDataDB file, the game will generate a new one. But the previous login rewards will disappear.

I swear I’m the only person who has had zero issues with the event even on week one. I have all the packs, expansions, kits, and mods. My game has had zero lag or issues with the event and now I am currently waiting for week three. Edit: The only thing I can think of is I received the Green Lady book and supposedly you should be able to gain skill in Gardening, Cooking and Fishing all at once yet when my Sims read it it doesn’t do any skill gain. I think that might be glitched and or I’m not doing something right.
I'm getting that fishing glitch in Sulani too it's so obnoxious. She was trying to swim to that boat out in the ocean to stand and fish from there(at least that's what my sim ended up doing for some god forsaken reason).
My game is definitely unplayable! The event is glitched and there's a new glitch that makes the romantic relationship bar decays from 100 to -100 in MINUTES for no reason. Really, i can't play my game!!!!!!
I tried doing week 1...the game froze and crashed 3 times within 5 minutes of gameplay. The third time was so bad I had to force restart my computer. I'll just mod the rewards into my game after the event is over....if I can ever play the game again. *eye roll*
What helps me with the event me is: - removing all mods + backup of my saves (just in case). - deleting cache and localthumbcache.package - file. - removing accountDataDB.package - file (or deleting it the game will make a new one). - repairing the game .. no need for new save (just do a backup of it ). - then it somehow works. Hope that helps. :)

The lot trait is weird but I think it attacts occults. Like spellcasters and vampires came to my door so maybe it s it ? And some random townies wandering in the neighborhood offered me gifts which i am not sure why.... I guess it is a lot challenge better to combine with a haunted house
Trees grow just as well in the tiny planters as they do in the big ones. Bonus using the small planters : You can plant your trees MUCH closer from one another. You don't need a greenhouse, you only need to extend a roof over the plants. NO need to have any wall. Contrary to a greenhouse, adding or extending roofs is free. Any Sim can fish from one of those outriggers. A Sim need a shill at level 4 in order to benefit from the volume 2 of any skill book, and level 7 for the volume 3. Otherwise, the book is to advanced for the Sim tu understand any of it. Past level 3, the volume 1 is useless and boring, and past level 6, the volume 2 is likewise boring. Skill books : Volume 1 can be used up to level 3, volume 2 need at least level 4 and up to level 6, volume 3 need at least level 7. If you don't have the minimum level, reading a skill book just waste time. Same if your skill is high enough to use the next volume. There are skill classes, but that require Discover University. Have an extra bed and Discover University ? You can invite Grim to become a roommate. Scare Seeker make your Sim exited instead of scarred, but, if there is nothing scary, he'll tend to get bored. Better also add the spooky challenge. Volcanic activity, Quake Zone and Creepy Crawlers can also help getting your Sim some quality scary moments. Then, you can make the house a Haunted Residential... The Sims For Ever actually mean Broken For Ever.
Tiny note (and I might be wrong, so pls test it out yourselves) I think you need at least medium height walls on your ground floor for trees to be able to grow under a roof, otherwise, you might get the "failed to germinate" pop up
@@anamakesthings At worst, go in build mode, pull or shift the roof so that it's not above the tree, plant it, go back in build mode and put the roof back above the tree. It'll grow just fine. The only thing will be that the tree is now clipping through the roof. Alternatively, you can create an empty second floor, maybe just a 1 tile wide wall, and have a roof on the second floor jutting out of that wall. If you then remove the wall, the roof should stay in place, just floating in the air by itself.
Wonderful video thank you, such a shame EA is bringing it out now. It was featured back when the community voted on packs (don't know if that's still a thing) and it lost out to knitting. Being able to extend the lifespan of wealthy Sims for Simoleons, among many other potential things had me so excited but that's when I really realised that I am no longer the target market for Sims 4 Though it turns out EA now thinks there's enough of a potential market for such a "pack"? Too little too late I'm afraid. Wonderful video though, best of luck with braving EAs bugs my word I would not have the patience
We went from expansion pack, to expansion pack lite, to game pack disguised as expansion pack, to stuff pack disguised as expansion pack. Can’t wait until we get get to cluttering expansion pack, aka a kit disguised as an expansion pack.
8:02 unfortunately, this is not a glitch - the Grim Reaper is not able to do any physical romance interactions and cannot be asked out on dates because he technically isn't a normal sim. this is hard-coded and as far as i'm aware, there are no mods that allow this interaction.
Gothic Shanice's skill level may have been too low for the gardening book 2! That's why it wasn't working. I reread the first book multiple times until my sim had the level for the second book and then it worked!
Assuming that the event works for me at all, I have to 1) turn off all mods, 2) speed run it, pauses of any kind will cause it to glitch...anything that I'm missing?
The fishing is important because one of the Ambrosia ingredients needed is the Angelfish. And with higher fishing skill it's supposed to make it easier to fish for it.

It's so weird to see everyone struggling with the event because it's glitching or just not working, I barely ever have any problems with the game (except once when I hadn't updated the game in a looooong time, but that's on me).
So frustrated with EA. First they announce there won't be a Sims 5 and they will just keep working with 4, as if this steaming pile of horseshit is their gold standard. Then they have this event that they of course leave full of bugs just like everything else. Highlighting once again their standards and care for the players. I'm almost at the point of walking away from this whole franchise.

Salami has been glitched for fishing since the last big bug fix patch. You can’t fish anywhere there.

The book increased my cooking and gourmet cooking but nothing else 😂😂

There is talls ones too. I am pretty sure I saw photos of them being a tourist atraction in Japan, tall tree full of pink flowers.
