  • Located about an hour West of Downtown Toronto, is Bayview Junction. Settled in the Royal Botanical Gardens on the border of Hamilton and Burlington, Ontario, Bayview Junction is one of the premier and most well known railfan spots in all of Ontario and Canada as a whole. Owned by the Canadian National Railway, dozens of freight and passenger trains from 4 different companies pass through this area on a daily basis. 3 subdivisions also intersect here; being the CN Oakville, Grimsby, and Dundas Subdivisions.
Seen here, is footage from a few times that I visited Bayview this past Summer. Plenty of great action, much more variety as well from CN compared to previous years! Also visited some other areas around Bayview Junction, such as Copetown on the CN Dundas Subdivision, as well as the Guelph Junction area on the CP Galt Subdivision. With the CN being so power short lately, it is great to see tons of awesome power now!
    All locations listed in video.
    Thanks for watching!

Great video, Michael! Loved the meet at 1:45 and the bridge shots of all those trains. Such great lashups and foreign power through the video as well, especially the PRLX ex-Warbonnet. The GT boxcars were awesome as well. Thumbs up!

The track there is in wretched shape: watch the trains swing, sway and jerk as they roll over the bouncy rails, crumbling sleepers and muddy track bed.
