Door Extenders are great. I run a Pedal Commander and it does what its supposed to do. Don't need bells and whistles with that product. Crawl Mode, Off, Sport and Sport+. I run it on Sport.
I would have to say the idrive is my favorite mod. Last car was a Roush mustang 5.0 so needless to say the jeep was a giant snail. The idrive definitely makes a world of difference on acceleration especially with a heavy duty modded Jeep on 37's.
Ha ha! So the Mustang goes fast, so what! What else can you do with it? It’s such a waste! That “car” may be fast but you can’t follow me where I go with my Jeep and I go places a lot more fun than the pavement. Good move getting your Jeep, sell that boring car and get some mods for the Jeep!!!
@@donlavigne6698 You can buy a Mustang/Camaro/Challenger which is cool by it's own right and a 600cc sport bike for the price of a Jeep Wrangler. It's no decision.
The IDrive was by far the best mod I did to my Jeep. My JKU instantly became a rocket ship. I'm running Ultimate Dana 60's on 40's with 5.38 gears and no engine mods. I absolutely love driving my Jeep with the IDrive set that puppy to U9 and she will scream off the line or at 60 mph.
I am a new Jeep owner and have purchased small things like seat covers, floor matts, upgraded tail lights, interior light LED's and a stubby antenna as well as a roll bar storage bag. So far, the interior LED's and the roll bar storage bag I would recomend as a must have.
After using obd jscan and resizing for my 35s my jeep does stall out anymore, has more power, proper throttle response, and goes into eco mode. Can't wait until my gears get put in so it'll just be even better. My mpg which I haven't reset yet went from 10.9 to 11.6 and still climbing.
I did the rear door extension bracket after watching your review video and I had a baby after. Let me just say it is the GREATEST addition to the Jeep ever putting my baby or the car seat in and out is NIGHT AND DAY BETTER! So thank you so much for that video I can’t tell you how incredible your are for that!
without a doubt Headlight upgrade was tops. Grab handles were huge. But one of my personal favs was my Trek Armor, (Now Bartact) Seat covers. They look amazing and come with tons of additional storage. Thanks for another fun video Ben.
I would second the comment about replacing the headlights. It is not a cheap mod if you use decent LEDs, but the improved visibility is worth it. I installed the JW Speaker headlights because they are plug and play, and still allow daylight running lights to operate, which is mandatory in Canada. Also, no flickering , like some of the cheaper LEDs
Well I guess I don’t “hate” it. But i would highly suggest the idrive over it. The Pedal commander is a tad more expensive, it has a slower processor, less adjustability options, does not have an automatic mode, overall it is bulky, it has a Bluetooth feature which is nice but still a possibility of someone hacking into your gas pedal 😳. Overall the Idrive is leaps and bounds better developed, and it is cheaper. Now, I am curious to test out this new one that is even cheaper, if it works as well as the idrive I will be blown away. As someone else commented already, a ton of Jeep owners have sold their pedal commanders and bought the idrive after testing another Jeep.
For any daily driver jk I’d say a nice set of headlights is a must. But for a daily driver jk that’s lifted with some big tires I’d say a psc big bore steering gear. My JKU is on 37’s and I just recently installed a psc gear and wish I’d done it sooner.
Before I bought my JK I had an LJ. One day my son grabbed the stock cloth roll bar grab handle and went to fling himself in. The handle ripped off and he landed on his ass. The grab handles were the first thing I installed on the new JK. This old man doesn't need no broken hip.
This was a tough decision Ben but my fav user mod is my Dead Pedal. I know this is very different but it is awesome!!! Other favs are: J W Speaker head/fog lights, Surprise Straps grab handles & Drake off road shift knobs. Can not wait for the IDrive comparison vid. Keep the vids Comin’ brah 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
For the older JKs I personally really like the Daystar Dash Panel with phone mount because it adds more storage space and gives you a nice way to hold your phone
Love watching you and your videos. Just got my first Jeep. It’s an 07 JKU. Noticed your Alaska plates! I lived up there and miss it almost daily! Hope to move back some day! Thank you for all your videos and info!
Purchased the Idrive and the Mollie rear door extenders because of the reviews you made. Defiantly a few of my favorite mods I have installed so far. But besides those mods installed my other favorite mods are 0gauge big 3 wiring upgrade, a Odessey battery , 1500w inverter , alpicool c20 mini fridge and a 700watt microwave. Perfect for beach cruises or going through washed out roads in the mountains. Or even snack time during breaks while working on the clock. Stock alternator can defiantly handle and having a AEV Procal to hold high idle makes microwaving possible.
Love your videos, I get a lot of ideas. I work on a real small budget so I don’t do mods every month or every other month so I choose the mods a little wisely. But my best mod has to be my cold air intake , I saw an increase in fuel mileage and response. My second had to be my subwoofers. Sorry I’m an audio file geek. Lol. Thanks man 😎👍🏼👊🏼
My favorite for my daily and camping is the rear cargo rack/shelf for the JKU. Nothing like having that extra shelf that sits just above the cargo door. Really helps keep the back organized and adds security with the top off. I grabbed the “OPAR” a few years ago and it’s still going strong!!!
A Toyota driver called my Jeep a Mall crawler. His rear axel gave out on the trail grinding metal and I happened to run into him. He requested a ride back. Axel removed I towed and winched his truck 20 miles to the highway using the 3 snatch block method my uncle taught me. To not overwork the winches giving them a good cool down period. GO RAMSEY🇺🇸!
thank you. coupon code still active on hood struts, looks nicer than alternatives. delivers to Canada for $30. led hatch light does not ship Canada, will create my own.
Grab Handles segment was NOT Boring at all. I am in Australia though and I just bought a sending hand 2009 Jeep Wrangler JK Shorty 4x4 Sport, and she did not come with Grab a handles, so it’s great to know that there are options out there. Sad,t my Jeep does not have any of the cool Easter egg pictures 🥺😢 but I am so in love with my Jeep 🥰🥰❤️❤️

The hood struts and rear hatch lightbar look like great mods! I live in interior Alaska, so my favorite mod so far is a insulated headliner kit from Hothead Headliners. Keeps things warmer and quieter.
Just did the Jscan tune yesterday to both of my JKs now it knows the proper tire size!!! By far the best mod.... Heated seats- I bought my second jk with that as a must have I use it more than anything else
not sure if you look at this one much anymore. But mods. hmm. I've had my 2017 JK Sport and haven't done many mods yet. But live in the BC mountains so a seat heater was the big one. ( driver side heat doesn't work worth a shit so ) but I just went with the the heated seat cover ( I'm not very mechanical ) the strap on grab handles was the next one I did ( stock height so not a biggy) Made a seat bracket for my bird perch in the front seat ( hoping it will help next hunting season.) Still looking to a set of bumpers for better recovery and a winch. Still using my come along . it works but is very slow. some form of roof rack and tail gate table after that. And as always more decals. Found a cool Sasquatch decal and then ford came out with their Bronco with Sasquatch package , so bit peeved they called it that. but it what it is. Great vids always stopping to watch keep them coming.
hey new to your channel and new to the jeep community :) got a 2017 Sahara 4 door love it it has a 2 inch rough country lift kit not body and 33's on . my first and not my last. I want to do nice trails and camping any other things i should be looking to mod first either exterior must haves or interior. again thanks for sharing great contents.
I saw you do those red ‘A’ pillar grab bars on another video! Where did you get those? Thanks! Oh yea, where did you get the door handle inserts. THOSE LOOK GOOD!
#1 mod (not cheap) for me was tires. The factory rubber had zero traction in mud, snow, rocks. Got 80,000 miles out of my first set of BFG AT TA KOII’s, and working on the second set. At that kind of mileage, I’d call them cheap.
If you really want a good company .. for a throttle controller, look at Banks. Gale Banks has been doing things well since the 70's and his Banks Pedal Monster seems to be the best in the business. Worth checking out before you buy any other brand.
Just have a question, if this is your daily driver, where are the inspection stickers? Also my Jeep JK has the 3.6 pentastar and I was wondering about the iDrive since there's no link to it so would it be worth it for that? It is lifted with 35's on it
That thing on your throttle pedal is a scam you can literally get the same thing by pushing the pedal down more. Example if you’re pushing the throttle 25% it tells the computer you’re pressing it 45% so just push the pedal more. Seriously waist of money
It is from vector Offroad. It’s the “e dock”. Very useful. You can mount phone, GoPro, and tablet mounts to it, as well as other things. And it also makes the center storage area a little more useful
I really enjoyed that video, the first mod I bought were the back door extenders and I totally love them. I have a 2016 JK. I will definitely be gettin the hood struts and the JL hood latches. Thanks for the great videos, looking forward to the next one!
Nice! I love the red wranglers...the black accents it wonderfully. I just bought a 2017 that's been modified and I like the hatch strip lighting. I was torn between the red or the all black and ended up with the all black has been fully lifted. I hope to paint red accents inside.
I love the I Drive.... so awesome. And I would have to say the grab handles. But the most important thing besides the I drive is headlights!!!!!!!! Get good AMERICAN made headlights...
Great content as usual but the audio was all over the place. Any time you were more than a foot away from the camera I had to crank the volume all the way up just to try to hear what you were saying. Then you’d walk up to the camera & blow me out of the room. Dude, get a remote mic & do some volume leveling in post. Thanks for all you do!
I have a 1997 jeep TJ with a 4 cylinder automatic and I installed a throttle body spacer on it and it’s quite a bit faster...That along with the 33’s in the 4 inch lift are my favorite mods
My best mod and cheaper one, is a momentary switch for the abs/esp to completely kill it off! I live in Canada and we have a lot of snow this winter...
When installing the light bar in the back, do you just plug it into the socket back there and it automatically comes on when you lift the gate or what do you have to do to make it turn on when lifted open?
Seat heaters are essential on long trips with not many stops, if you start getting tired or sore while driving, turn the heater up on the seat and you will feel much better for it, also if you are experiencing lower back pain put the heater on as the heat will travel up into your lower back and can ease the seating experience.
Best one I ever did was my Grab Bars. On the driver side I have a ram mount for my phone attached to the grab bar and a USB/fast charger for my phone to charge while in the cradle. It's out of the way yet still available in case I'm using Google maps or Bluetoothing to the radio.
no need to be ashamed of the seat heaters. won't go with out ever again. even after a long day at work, hot as hell out. turn those on to help the back(ac is usually cranked all the way).
I personally like the cold air intake modification although there are haters in the off-road community I like it because it really helps out using my Jeep as a daily driver. I just have to be a little cautious in mud but so far I haven’t had any issues with mine. I bought a Spectre
I put on hood struts and it bent the hinges where the hood is attached, and pushed the whole hood forward an inch or so where it no longer lines up correctly.
Free shout out to CMM, their grab handles are awesome and you can add attachments for GoPro mounts and mirrors for when you have your doors off!!! BUY THEM! I love them!
As “Cool” things come to Market... I agree that what was “Cool” becomes not so Cool... I have the Pedal Commander, and when it came out... Was to Me... Awesome (at 250 + ) I’ll keep mine for a while... But I’m really looking forward to Your review this “New” Throttle Control device! 😃
I think it's cheaper to add the seat heaters on, becuase I think the cold weather package from the factory is like a $350 add on to the MSRP if I'm not mistaken.
Hey man, I love the content. Keep up the good work. I just got back into the Jeep family last week and have been cruising through all your videos and making a list of mods. Thank you for all your work you put into these!

I put on hood struts and it bent the hinges where the hood is attached, and pushed the whole hood forward an inch or so where it no longer lines up correctly.
Thanks for sharing mods and using it as a daily. Considering buying one as first 4wd
Free shout out to CMM, their grab handles are awesome and you can add attachments for GoPro mounts and mirrors for when you have your doors off!!! BUY THEM! I love them!
Seat heaters...For when your heater core goes out..and yes..it will go out..
Beginner Jeeper here, so what is a throttle controller and how is it different than cruise control? Thanks!
6:19 "Les move on to da next oneee.. not even gonna cut it. Les just continue.. kappoowww!" Feb 2021. Yeah i like it lol!
I wish I had grab handles when I tried to help a friend. She's a big friend and almost ripped out my oh shit handle. It now waggles. 😭😖
The factory head lights suck so the most useful mod is my Stedi LED headlights
I have all those mods except hood struts. I have the factory seat warmers, they are great. My favorite is the JL hood latches.
Honestly I don't much care for seat warmers since I live in California but a heated steering wheel on my tj would be nice
if ya need a handle to get inyour jeep....get a pirus...lol making a video is hard
Did the hood struts a long time ago $24 on Ebay yes works great, also changed all interior lights to led much brighter
What's that Molle rack on the rear gate?? I need one!
It is a tailgate panel from Molle platform solutions!
@@JKGearandGadgets awesome! Will be picking one up soon. Thanks! Keep killin it.
Yes. If your buying new. A lot of people didn’t buy their Jeep new though
I like your video! Thanks friend
Hey man, I love the content. Keep up the good work. I just got back into the Jeep family last week and have been cruising through all your videos and making a list of mods. Thank you for all your work you put into these!
Thank you!
Me: “Did he just spi-“
Him: “I just spit a bunch” 😂😂😂
What i like the most is rear door extander .
Thank’s
I deliver mail in a JK. You think the iDrive would work well for me?
