So cool thanks for this!! Mine is in a large pot, but I don't like how it looks. It's too tall after winter. I had never trimmed it down before wintering it in my garage. I'm about to chop it down to the base now and feed it with my axolotl tank's water lol. I am glad it will grow back quickly. Can't wait to watch the growth!

Pretty quick regrowth I think. Plus it looks like it’s in the shade. Nice experiment. Will you be cutting your others back after a frost occurs or do so before frost comes.

It is mostly shaded by the other plants right now, yea. It will get full sun assuming it gets taller than the others.
I won't cut anything until the first frost. Then I will trim off the leaves and throw them down on the ground to give a little extra cover for the roots. I'll have a bunch of stems to cut down in the big patch since I have had seven flower this year. I'll wrap 1-2 with bubblewrap of the remaining with bubble wrap as well as the three blue java bananas I planted outside.

Thanks, Joe. It's getting there. Been spending alot of time in the front and almost have it completely cleared out. Starting on the beach house soon too 😀

@@vibonitatropics Now that is awesome. You will have fun at that beach house. We just got back from the far west coast of Vancouver Island, Wendy is looking at places for sale there. More as a vacation rental

We'll rent the beach house when not using it ourselves and it gives me more room to grow more palms and bananas.

It's getting 1/4 gallon a day via automated drip.
