    Hey, nice video. I am currently facing a problem. I am having the RX 6600XT from amd and a msi motherboard (B450-M A Pro Max). Unfortunately it doesn't show me the resizeable bar as option. I also turned on above 4 GB usage. But still i can't find an option to turn on resizeable bar, because it's simply not showing up. Do you have any idea how i could fix that?

    • @sparketech
      @sparketech  6 месяцев назад +1

      It might be called SAM Smart Access Memory and you need to be running UEFI bios. If you CSM / legacy bios you'd likely have to format your storage drive to UEFI. I don't own your board to know the bios settings... User manual might tell you more. I own the B650 and previously the B550 and had to flash my RTX3070 for resizeable bar. Your AMD GPU would already be supported I would figure

      I have two videos on reasons your computer won't boot but I need more information to help, you have a different issue.

If the memory wasn't fully seating fans if I remember correctly spinnat full speed (as listed in video 2 of why your computer won't turn on / won't boot. @@xxlllx Odd, sounds like you had a power surge which can most certainly damage nyoyr computer. Does your CPU fan work? Do any fans work? CPU overheating can do the same thing. A GPU overheated usually causes a crash, visual artifacts and hard locks. A damaged power supply tends to run hot and can make the GPU and CPU overheat. Power supply fan still working? If your motherboard fan headers failed there are PMW fan to SATA power adapters you can get. Also I reviewed piles of RGB fans only 2 of the 5 use motherboard fan headers.

      Did you purchase the GPU for a reputable seller? Just asking in case someone changed the card and wiped the bios info. Does the card get an expected frame rate? At high resolutions the computer is more GPU limited making it easier to see if it performs like it should if you got switched with a 4080 or something.
