Honda 300 No Spark - Carb Issues

Got this 300 in with No Spark. After doing some testing it was pretty clear that the main problem strikes again and its the CDI. Changed that along with the Carb Replacement and he was good to go.

My 450 Foreman only gets spark the first couple of cranks. Is this a common problem? I bought a new boot for the plug and the spark is stronger but it's still losing it, the same problem. I found it hard to believe a new coil doesn't come with the boot and the fact they just screw in. Seems pretty hokey if you ask me, like it could lose continuity after a few romps around the yard. Thanx in advance.

I noticed the new carb seems to have more vent lines than the factory card, specifically one by the throttle cable. Where do you connect it?

Have a 2003 300ex with no spark. Changed both CDI’s. I have no kill switch, I bypassed it. Also changed coil. How do I check stator?

I dont really, but just try and get one with the Metal Gas Inlet.

Hey my cdi is having so troubles with moister getting in to it so I have been putting it in the oven and it drys it out so then I have bought 2 different cdi and I think the one is the same one u have put on this but neither of them will work on my quad

The small black one next to the big orange cdi is also a cdi not an alarm box...some atv have two for some reason, a DC cdi and a AC cdi for reverse safety and light's......

The smaller CDI (AC) for reverse is more rev limited so you don't accidently go 100 mph in reverse and kill yourself.

Gunnar Wallace It was really to far gone. Pitted in many places amd the Float Seat would not seal properly. Also had a pin hole in the float.
