I like this image you chose. just the piano and an empty auditorium Dilla often made these beats alone, in a room with only the MPC and his thoughts. Brought beautiful beats to life and not a soul was there to witness it. He was just expressing the creativity he had in him, that why we love dilla. Thank you for uploading this
Super knock!!!!!!! Just one question, in my most humble opinion, How does the student (DILLA) come out sounding better than the teachers(Q-tip, Pete Rock)?????? Dillahead for life
Supa Powers... ?? clariaudicion? Science? what was his last name Jay Dilla aka Jon Doe (Djedi) Jedi like Star Wars... but the Treal Djedi like the old egypt, the old kemet... It´s too Deep!!!!! For me He is the Akai Lama number 1!!! Like Buda!! thank´s Asewe! Namaste!!!
M Haynes you can never better the master of the art. You have to master your own art. Inspire from listening and observing his sound. Dilla has a very deep musical energy you can feed off.
I think most skills can be learned, but to be the absolute best at your craft I honestly believe you have to be born with a special gift and put in lots of hard work to fully utilise that talent. as dilla did. he must have worked non-stop considering his life was short.
Everyone's gonna overlook the fact that this was a flip of a MODERN track. A remix of Toshi Kubota's (Japanese R&B track). Just stating, cuz everybody that think Dilla was only samplin old jazz records and whatnot. This time around, no so.
Is this really Dilla? It's a banger for sure, but gotta protect this man name and legacy. I never heard this before and I damn near got everything Dilla put out on production and whatever he touched. Albeit be a sample, ft, art , etc. And some folks just throwing Dilla name on shit just for likes too. Tell your kids about Dilla
love refills the cup of needs like some people cut themselves to bleed trying to find that ecstasy or feeling of being alive just breathe the toxics of your own poisons love to make the bed but some hate to lie in it love the seconds but hate minutes cause at any moment the love can change like the sheets we wrap up in once bed made
This is one of the smoothest ones he's done but to say it's his best is false...you got to discover new beats youve never heard...i dont have a best beat from Dilla because when i do.. I hear something better...that's what makes him the G.O.A.T. you cant go wrong with none of his beats...PERIODT.. he just did it a way no one has done before...

that's evolution my man
Learn from the teachers. Improve on their ideas. Inspire the next generation as the grandmaster.

Just ride, smoke, and vibe!
Doesn't get any better than riding and smoking getting in touch with positive earthly vibes
Obra-prima, masterpiece. No word can describe the perfection of every microsecond of this beat. Everything is in the right place in the exact moment.
Once again the master at work gone but never forgotten pure class could never stop listening j dilla the greatest bless
Nothing but your love might keep me sane
Nothing but your touch, might ease these pains
A recipe for disaster.

Definitely Dilla good sir. The vocal version is didope dope as well.
You'll never have everything he created. Impossible since he very well made over 10,000 beats plus in his 14 yrs before transitioning
He came on a mission to Uplift and Inspire , then had to move on. A Time Traveler
It’s on a 12” white label. And very hard to find
@gabeeskridge8291 yes that part 💯
