PLEASE READ THIS! The HOMEWORK was an idea from the previous video, for you to find a variation of this simple rhythm that fits into the third bar. It still makes most sense that you do the homework in this way. When you record the video, upload it on YT, tag me, tag others and if I don't react please sent me a mail to duendedidgeridoo@gmail.com The last bit isn't intended as a part of the tutorial, just some fireworks for you to ignite your imagination of where you can set the course once the abilities arise. I must warn you that I use the word "beat" both in its strict meaning of one hit of the metronome as well as its slang form. In the sense that a beat could be made up of four four beat bars. If this feels too fast for you, you can slow the video down to 75% and when you play on a metronome, you can just put a different tempo. Like 70 or 80. Slower isn't always easier as didgeridoo movements depend on body elasticity. Let me know if you need more help!
It's been close enough to 2 weeks, here's my homework with a link in this video to the start of the challenge ruclips.net/video/2ALLIY1-SHk/видео.htmlsi=GLPz8ZtRcpvFJi14
This was the cutest invitation to Masterclass. 💗💗💗 And the ending too! 🥰 I genuinely wonder how many people will have the discipline to actually do the challenge... I hope they do. 🙏🙂 (And btw. I just came to youtube to watch a particular video of yours at the exact moment you posted this video. The moment I typed your name into the search box I got the notification. So, we were perfectly synched without you even knowing it! 💗 See, I catch the right vibes even without knowing it upfront. 😉🥰💗 )

Oooo we were supposed to record a video of our progress? I haven't even taken a picture of myself in 3 years much less a video 🤣 ...... But i did figure out the toots FINALLY and completely by mistake. I was feeling ambitious and wanted to try some beatboxy stuff; instead i learned to toot. I'll take it👍
You can either post them publicly on YT or unlisted and send me an email to duendedidgeridoo to check them out... or we can ask someone like @dojorich or @FreddieVeggie to record at slower tempo...and then doo it... so many possibilities...
Harrumph! I have been practicing. I have not yet met the 10 hour mark you requested. I've also been trying to increase my speed as 90bmp is too fast for me so I cannot play along with you. Have you considered an 80bpm recording for those who are slow?
The world is waiting for your 80 bpm recording! Why hasn't anyone told me before the first video that 90 might be a bit fast? Wasn't that the speed we did at the MC?
@@DuendeDidgeridooIf we were going this fast then I wasn't playing all the notes 😳 Either that or one of the MC miracles occurred because we'd warmed up for 5 hours. 😅
Okay.. watched your initial video challenge and then got recommended to this one. I know the idea is to wait two weeks but I have to commit so I’m submitting day one now. I have been working at stabilizing my circular breathing for a couple of weeks and staying as relaxed as much as possible. I really want to start on rhythms now and work with staying on time. Downloaded a metronome and played with it to warm up… this was really near the beginning of tonight’s practice. I improved by the end rather noticeably so I’m excited to continue. Will post again under here in two weeks. Thanks for the motivation! ruclips.net/video/lSxdKM72Jsw/видео.htmlsi=9gyznXrSb4j_MPcn
instructions unclear on the final part. I feel you drew directions on a map and then went somewhere completely else. Guess it's monkey hear, monkey play. Also IMO: altering the total length of the cycle is a no-no (except if you feel very meshuggah). I remember someone telling me that we should think of dancers and not make them stumble.. then again when was the last time you had an audience dance and not be nailed to the floor in awe? Suppose that's reserved for us lesser players. Hey, a light at the end of the tunnel (is it a train? please tell me it's a train. I gotta go places!)
I really like the last part more than anything. The instructions are hopefully clear where they need to be. If someone wants to get the last part clear, one needs to get to the UMC.

You always doo!
started two days ago. Hopefully will have a recording by two weeks.
I have started today (not tomorrow 😅 otherwise it will always be tomorrow).
Thank you for your time and devotion to share those secret keys 🙏
in two days.... I am so excited to hear your progress! ;-)

:-) i love listening to the example at the end. I MUST send you a homework and this is a good example. To get it right, it was 7, 7, 8, 7, right?
Yes! But the real HW was to invent a third line by yourself.

Dancing audience is overrated.
@@DuendeDidgeridoo At my level, a dancing audience is the confirmation I crave, and the reason I play for others. I will never glow like you.
@@DuendeDidgeridooahem! I dance to your music all the time. But then I like 31 count rhythms and surprise time signature changes. 😅
