Singapore to expensive to go for vacation

Well, if you insist on going for fine dining or having meals at the restaurant. You only got yourself to blame. And if you think that only Western countries deserve to be in high expenses, then you have to change your mindset.
You are simply stereotyping that SEA countries, no matter how developed they are, must be cheap in everything.
And if so, why would Gordon Ramsey and others Michelin Stars restaurant having their biz set up here and have their prices below their country bistro? Would you do that?
It's your choice to pick your venue for meals. With convenient transportation, you can choose to dine at hawker centres located at HDB residential area.
If you travel in Switzerland, you would have never come across coffeeshop or hawker centres.
Moreso about getting public transport other than railways or cab.

I don’t think the prices are too expensive when I went to Singapore this time.
Maybe it’s because the cost of travel is a little higher than daily life and I can accept it.
But in fact, I think the prices of meals and drinks are only a little higher than in Taiwan.
