@@dontcallmedoll The era before Bling Bling was incredible because each character had fashion designed based on their personality especially when they launched collections inspired by the movies, the Masquerade Madness line was stunning, also the lines in which each doll was associated with real brands were very good ones like Shopping Spree and Mall Maniacs.
My Scene was and still is my fave, I only had two as a kid, I plan to buy myself a lot more now I’m older! I really want some boxed ones but they’re mad expensive on eBay and I’m just going to take them out the box and play with them so it seems crazy paying over £100 for some of them but I might treat myself for my birthday in September and for Christmas!
These two My Scene dolls remind me of today's Rainbow High dolls. I loved the My Scene dolls when they came out. What I especially loved about them was their playsets. The playsets were proper to scale and very realistic, not like the Barbie ones which are made smaller.
i like these two dolls so i go to buy on ebay 80 to 100 a doll same on amazon no way im paying that im glad i got my other dolls before they got so hi. excellent video glad you did them.
Hello - My Scene was a reaction by Mattel to the Carter Bryant Bratz. With the reintroduction of the Bratz line, there would therefore be no need for Mattel to follow suit, seeing that they had their run, just like the Flavas did before them, and which are now, as an originally unpopular line with children, an adult collector area. Happy collecting.
Honestly it depends of your taste if you like almond eye screening or the bling bling one, usually US & Europe collectors like more the bling bling dolls cause they didn’t have them post 2008, and you know how it is many like what’s harder to get, but where I’m from they are the most common

I need help. I've found a 1999 Madison doll, yet she has a turquiose dress with pink flower prints on it. Which doll could it be? Or, maybe the dress is not hers at all?
Honestly my scene dolls blow my mind.. they’re so exquisite from face, body to fashion. Mattel really did a home run with them.
They really were some of the best the company had ever put out. Perfect blend of Fashion Fever-era Barbie and Bratz.
