I got so addicted to these hats that I liked this video before I even reached 20 seconds. I saw the hats in the background and thought "he must have made those hats". Good vid.
This is a wonderful tutorial video Definitely going to try and make my own now I’ve always wanted to build a hoth hat also May try and use some of the techniques to make one but not sure if the visor part will work for that Have u ever made a hoth hat ?
è solo normale gesso da marciapiede, lo stesso tipo che usano nelle aule. il tessuto è un cotone con trama in gaberdine. quando torno a casa vedo se riesco a trovare un link.
I don't really have time for the new projects I want to do, let alone make time to sew hats a a price that is reasonable. I would love to have that kind of time, but I don't. No, I don't sell them, but I hear there is a good tutorial on how to make them on RUclips.
What type of iron on interfacing? Please. Is it lightweight or med/ heavy or canvass? ☺️ Is it the same type for the peaks too? I'd like to try an make on this week

I thank you infinitely for your detailed tutorial
I find that pictures and text can sometimes be a bit confusing when trying to follow a pattern so this video was super helpful, thank you for sharing!
Glad I could help.
Oh my gosh, THANK YOU! I could not figure out how the brim was supposed to go on without a super visible seam. Thank you!
I'm glad to help.
Great job Hawk
Nice one Hawk
The caps are based off from Italian,Ausrto Hungarian and German alpine caps from both world wars
Try a jeans needle and I was wondering what thickness of interfacing you use?
Pellon Shir Tailor 950 F is the exact Interfacing I tend to use. I have tons of different needles, and I always forget to change them.
I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say Hawk plays guitar
Hawk use to play guitar, but that was a long time ago, now it's just habit.
But I do keep meaning to pick it back up, when I have time...
Great tutorial! What weight interfacing did you use?
I tend to use Pellon 950F ShirTailor Fusible Interfacing
This is a wonderful tutorial video
Definitely going to try and make my own now

Have u ever made a hoth hat ?
I have not made one, but it on the list. The whole Hoth Trooper is there, but the hard part is finding time.

How much fabric is needed to make 1-2 Imperial officer hats?.
1-2 yards. I tend to get about a yard per hat.
