That was a very sad part of our history and so many people elected the orange menace again. After all the horrible things he did during the pandemic, there should never have been anyone voting for him again.
I’ve had blue lights hanging in my front window since early in the “p” when folks made noise at 7pm to honor healthcare workers in the cities and those of us in rural areas put up blue lights. They’re still up for many reasons. The toll this took on folks who worked in the medical field, needed to be told. Thank you for bringing this book to light!
That is so cool that you still have the lights up. My neighborhood howled out the windows at 7pm every night for quit some times. It was a lot of fun and gave us something to look forward to. Thanks for sharing!
I was one that followed the rules. Sad story my brother in law lost his mind when I asked him to wear a mask when he came to visit my dad who has congestive heart failure. Here we are 2024 and my sister still won’t speak to me after the mask incident. I would do it all again to keep everyone safe.
The first thing I did when I realized P was hitting the world was go on the Internet and look at the pictures of all the people in 1918 who gladly put on masks. People sitting on their porches on a farm and still wearing masks. Lots of people watching a baseball game, all in masks. I was at work. I packed up most of my stuff from my desk shut down my computer and walked over to my boss and said I’m leaving. I’m immune compromised and this building is not safe. Pay me or not fire me or not. I’m saving my own life, you do what you need to do. I know several people followed me out. Within a week people were being sent home to wait for computers to be delivered to their home so they could work remotely. If I had to go out, I wore a mask. I had met a local woman who had already started making masks with pockets for filters when we could get them . Shortly after tangerine man started his lies, a woman in a clothing store actually tried to rip my mask off calling me sheeple and stupid. I have an auto immune disease, so that could have killed me. During P tangerine murdered my brother. I hope his nurse was as wonderful as the author. When he told people the drug he was invested in was the solution, I stopped taking it as for others it was saving their lives, not just their health. He created such a scarcity people had to go without it. I had to watch my brother’s funeral on video. This nurse saved lives when she could. Tangerine man just considered them collateral damage to his ability to make money and take revenge.
@@tammysmith5233 I’m so sorry you had to go through that but you did the right thing ti protect your father and yourself snd family !! Ignorance is no excuse to put other peoples lives at risk !! Thank you for following the rules and keeping everyone safe around you !! I still wear a mask every time I leave my home , C19 is still alive and circulating and mutates continuously !!
To all of you who were on the front lines during that horrific time, thank you from the bottom of my heart. As an intuitive clairesentient Empath, I felt all of your pain. 💙🫶
As a nurse during this time was so stressful and traumatic to so many… yes it was so difficult to not only to deal with the patients and their families but then have to deal with the public…it was so appalling that we did not have the adequate supplies… and with the politicalization of this was down right unforgivable… I am praying that people start waking up to this dark era that we living in…. I blame the far right politicians and especially the mainstream media for such hate, deceit, lies and division!!!!
I am so grateful for you and other health care professionals. I know that so many of you gave up your careers. You are right that it is unforgivable the way that this was politicized. It still is unfortunately. 💙🙏💙
Licensed Nurse for 35 yrs and worked in a skilled nursing facility thru the C19. Our residents were refused by the hospitals as if they were disposable. Heartbreaking. Retired when it ended and am now a spiritual voice. Shine on.
I remember hearing about hospitals having to prioritize patients because of lack of space but when it got even worse, it got to the point where they couldn’t take them in at all. Thank you for everything you did through C19.
✨💖✨💝 Thank-you for your continued caring of humanity for many us of us the P is not entirely over & in the UK those of us that prev qualified for vaccines if we wanted to lower our risk but the last government (BJ & co, I am sending love light as much as possible) here in UK ending it for the majority & we would have to pay now (not in my current budget) as well as for tests. Where thanks you JB (oh wow just realised reversed initials & sure is total opposite.) at least he kept your free tests & access to boosters. Which normally is the opposite compared to UK NHS. I'm sure a big part of it is the massive amounts lost in bad contracts to VIP donors/friends only the other week result of 1 of these contracts sub-standard masks had to be burned in a field as health as failed the tests to give to care staff. We are told our gov. now will not let them get away with this. There's a lot of evidence. But stay in high vibes & hope others will rectify.

It’s just horrific that so many people lost loved ones and to this day their chair at the holiday table is still empty. And so horrific that the monster in charge at that time will be back again.
My hope is that those souls demonstrating selfishness are here to learn a lesson that realizes that "it is not just about you!" We are so grateful for the sacrifices that all the medical professionals have made and continue to make during crises.
My friend was also a frontline worker at a hospital. The stories she would tell me just absolutely broke my heart. I cried a lot for those families and for her. I don't know how she held it together. Probably by being able to tell the stories and to be able to go home to a very loving and supportive family. I pray that we never have to go through anything like that again.
“Being told ‘no’ without losing our minds” Boy is this true! I would always share with those ‘no maskers’ my comparison to WWII. What if one person decided to leave their lights on when told to black out everything? It impacts us all!
I worried about my daughter every day thru that. She was a caregiver and she made sure she got every vaccination that came out. She cared enough about her clients to mask up and vaccinate. WE learned a lot about people who listened to someone who knew nothing about caring of others. How far we have fallen from the days of caring for others. My husband and I only went out shopping as necessary, his job gave him everything he needed to check his crew everyday to mask sure they weren’t sick!
I worked in registration in a hospital. It truly didn't hurt me to wear a mask all day. Why did so many people gripe about wearing one briefly, in public?!
I had my 83 yr old health compromised mother living with me in April 2020. I took it seriously because I was not going to be the one who gave it to her. Never believed in the yearly flu shots but I got both my Moderna shots and took all the precautions. She died in aug 2021 of congestive heart failure at my house. I never understood those who rebelled and resisted the precautions.
I never understood it, either. I will never understand why some people believe guidelines (followed by a lockdown because some refused to follow them) were nothing more than an inconvenience. No one should find themselves trying to justify the unnecessary loss of life for millions of people. 💔
I ended friendships during that time because of their attitude and selfishness. The sadest one was someone whom I had worked with as a paramedic. He went on to become a nurse and was posting the whole c19 was bs and not real. He was working in a NY hospital. I asked him why was he posting his denial. Turns out he was and still is a 45 follower and believed 45's lies above what he was witnessing in the ER that he was working in. Thank you Karen for reading the exerptsfrom this book.💜💜💜
Wow. Isn’t that incredible how people can deny something they see with their own eye? It might be interesting, if I knew enough about it, to discuss why this happens. Thanks for sharing.
Hello from a fellow Paramedic (now retired)! Ditto for me. I’m down to one friend since the ‘P’ especially because I had no idea that good people would choose the cult over their own and my family’s lives! One of them was my own elderly Mother! I managed to keep her from making truly horrible decisions by refusing to allow her to spend time with her grandson otherwise. Thank goodness we managed to get her through the worst of it before she finally got it 18 mos in and ended up in the hospital for a week. Still voted cult. 🤦♀️ Never again. As long as she’s in her right mind, if she thinks she knows better than those with actual experience, so be it. The worry/frustration/extra stress is not worth it to me. I’m so disappointed in her for falling for the cult. She’s become someone I don’t even know anymore. 🙁
I was a healthcare professional, I’m since retired, worked in a hospital mammography department. I had stay at home orders as did most of the staff since we are a screening department it was considered not necessary , we went back to work after 3 months. I was amazed how some people became enraged over having to keep their masks on. Doing mammograms it is impossible to keep your distance from your patients and it was frightening and frustrating when they would argue about just simply wearing their masks. The amount of division within the public was truly brought into light during this health crisis. 45 could have made it better, he just fueled the narrative. I am a rule follower, I took it seriously and still do. I don’t put myself in a large crowd still, I didn’t go out to a restaurant for 3 years. I still keep my distance from people when out in public. If I have sniffles I will put a mask on. It seems like it highlighted the selfishness of some people and also highlighted the ones that did what was right to be considerate for others. It was even shown within my coworkers. Some would complain every day about the masking rules and were always testing the system. My observation was that those were the ones entrenched in the “45” cult. Honestly, I was never distraught about having to stay home when it was shut down. I learned about myself during lockdown, I came out of it knowing myself better. I realized just how much of an introvert I really am.
I was not a person who questioned the medical community. Nor did I say only Older or unhealthy people would suffer from it. What I was guilty of was feeling deep hate and anger towards those who didn't take it seriously. Who wouldn't wear mask or do anything to protect others. That couldn't have been right either. I am still feeling that hate. I know its wrong and unhealthy. Not sure how to get rid of it.
I felt how self absorbed they were and how readily they ingested the rhetoric from frum downplaying the virus and need to wear mask and get vaccinated. I was pissed at how uncaring they were regarding the health of those around them. Family members in the se US had it more than once. In my immediate community, the majority of people kept their distance, wore mask and participated in the community vax events.
may you find peace...you know when i go to a health facility to see a doctor, there are folks who wear no masks - they tell me they have had covid ... i just look at them quizzically ...smile to myself. i have my KN95 mask on so they can't see my smile... it is a mystery as to why people seem to be in their own world. during the pandemic i stayed far away from people who did not wear a mask, i even changed lines....i am old so i have had to practice on staying peaceful...i have tools that i use - it is hard work, but i would rather have peace than anger... you take care..
You are not alone, many of us feel the hate as well. It goes against my personality but I think we all have a limit. Especially when it is life or death, I think those of us that have that hate is bc we are angry and frustrated with those that don't care about others. I bet you love deeply and when someone you love is in trouble health wise bc of the selfishness of others it turns to hate. How I deal with it, is to remove myself from those negative people and only allow like minded positive energy folks around me, we can help each other heal and let go of the hate so it doesn't turn our positive 🕯️ attitude into negativity. It's very hard but I try to talk to someone who feels the same and let that hate energy go, release it. I do my best to remember and say let go and let God....I know it's easier said than done, but I do my best to remember we attract what we put out. It really helped me when I let go of those with the selfish attitude and focused on myself and those with like minded beliefs. I don't think it is selfish to let go of them, I think it is self care. It also helps me to remember I'm not alone and neither are you, even you posting this helps me. Thank you for your honesty, sending you positive thoughts and energy. 💙🕯️
@@amberweik5384 I know it is difficult. What I have found to bring substantial freedom from hate, is to give those people in God’s hand and to TRUST HIM with them and let them go out of your hands. He knows how to deal with them. It is not your responsibility to bring those people to justice. No matter how hard you try. There is nothing you can do about that. It is God’s responsibility. Also don’t prescribe to God what He has to do with them. That is again not for you to decide. Trust Him to do what is needed, even if you can’t see it on this earth. Keep trusting Him. Hope this helps.
I lost my mother to C19 in January of 2022. Yes she had a preexisting condition but she was 60 and didn't make it. I just had it again two weeks ago and just felt sick with a high fever and non stop coughing after the fever broke.
WOW I've just retired from health care and this brought back so many bad memories. I was the first person in my department to get C 19. I had worked over the weekend in March when we had 4 ladies brought in with C. All around 60 y.o., same as me. Three of them passed. I don't think I have really been so scared as I was that first time. A week later I got it myself. Thankfully, I had been forewarned about vit D levels and C19 and took large doses. I swear that's what saved me. I went out and bought vit D for all my siblings and yelled at them to take it! No masks, hardly any PPE, I used one N95 for weeks (keeping it in a paper bag in my locker), then we moved to cloth masks. We had someone break into the hospital stores and steal all the N95's when we finally got a shipment. I've had 4 shots and have had C19, four times that I am aware of. Every new version, I got it. Thankfully not serious. Trying to explain how vir uses work and how you develop immunity from the shot. It was like banging my head on a wall trying to make people understand. Anyway, I totally relate to this book and thank you for discussing this with us all. ❤
I feel your pain & I agree, it’s like banging your head against the wall trying to explain it to them, that said I was lucky that I was able to protect my elderly dad from it & when he finally got it, after the vaccines he had not one symptom, but I got sinuses issues with it. But I was lucky they went away, I was lucky to get the vaccine before my first time getting C. All those poor people that got it, it’s just heartbreaking.
Thank you, Karen...it is so important that you put out content like this. Truth needs to be told. Those who fell prey to conspiracy theories or chose to deny what they witnessed for whatever reason, need another chance to hear, see, and understand. I do not yet know how we will heal this country, and the profound damage done by the lies, hate, anger, and chaos sewn by 45, but I do believe videos like this one can make a difference. 🙏
I was working in healthcare while this was going on and it was terrible and scary for all who had to report to work each day , I am now retired ! Not having the protective ware that was needed , having to re-use your mask and gowns day after day , having to watch patients struggle to breathe and having to tell family members they couldn’t come to the hospital !! If a patient came in no one could stay at the hospital !! Not having the drugs to treat the patients ! When you left the hospital after your shift you had to take precautions not to bring the virus home with you ! You were scared every time someone coughed around you , you stood away from people so as not to be touched , in the grocery store I wore my mask , surgical gloves and clothes over clothes so I could strip the top layer off when j got to my car and put them in a garbage bag to go directly into the washing machine with bleach when i got home , when talking to my neighbor I stood on the sidewalk she on her porch , if I brought her something from the store it was left on her walkway for her to retrieve after i had walked away !!People have no idea what it was like , and worse most didn’t care because they didn’t have to see it as it really was ! It was a daily horror show that never ended and we who dealt with it will live with the scars it left in our memories , and I still wear my mask everytime I leave my home and do not eat out !! Many who survived the virus were left with life long illnesses or damage to organs in the body !! And we will live with the fear it will happen again , because the virus still lives today and if RFK Jr. gets his way I fear the vaccine we now have may be banned along with many other vaccines that have kept at bay many deadly viruses ! ! And this is a scary thought we must take serious !! Please take it serious and stand up against any actions to ban vaccines in our country no matter the party who tries !! Vaccines stand between life and death in many cases especially in childhood diseases !!!
Thank you for all of your efforts during c19. For all those who didn’t take it seriously, there were more who did (some of which ended up changing their tune only after they were directly impacted by it); they followed the guidance of the CDC and healthcare professionals as, got vaccinated when it became available. Long after it stopped being mandatory, we were still wearing masks when we went places. The vaccine was one of the many things that helped us through. The very people who complained about the lockdown are the same people who caused it in the first place as we may not have needed a lockdown had people not been politicizing and downplaying it. I hope you are healing. ❤
What scares me is that it’s not over. So many people have had it change their lives either by losing a loved one or by now having the after effects that can cause so many long term symptoms. I left a longer post with current statistics and now I can’t find it. I think it was removed. I’m still living in lockdown and only go to doctor’s appointments. I’m the only one that wears a mask. Thank you for all that you did as a health care worker. It’s unbelievable how little respect is shown. So many have left the profession that there is now a shortage of doctors and nurses. The priorities in this country need to change. 💙🙏💙
@ you are correct , many healthcare professionals have left the field because of lack of support from their employers and from the communities in which they work !! People dont stop to think that as a patient care employee we put our lives on the line everyday from diseases , and injuries caused by patients that for whatever reason are not in their right mind ! I myself was.attacked by a patient who was in an altered state and he broke my jaw and cheek bone and broke another healthcare providers glasses who was trying to help me get him back into bed ! All I got was a visit down to the ER to be checked out and x-rays & my diagnosis , I wasn’t even given any days off with pay offered to heal !! Lucily my broken jaw was not severe enough to need surgery I just couldn’t chew for a few weeks I had to only eat liquids and soft foods , but I still worked all my 12 hr shifts !! I retired a few months later !! At that time the virus had been going strong for almost a year !!
@BeckyStone7994. . . I am so sorry about the lack of care for you that the senior management gave. Hospitals now, most of them, are for profit and have stockholders. I hear alot of sad stories. How do we cure this? Unfortunately, non- mainstream healthcare professionals don't take insurance. We need to take insurance companies down too.
I took a cross-country flight in January of 2020. The friend I was visiting had a strange lingering cough while I was there, and when I got back home, I had an illness that was quite a bit more intense than any cold I'd ever experienced. This was before anyone was talking about "C-19," certainly before it was announced or had been named to the public. I considered myself lucky to have experienced it myself before the official news got out and all the misinformation started. I had no chance of being sucked into that denial because I KNEW the virus was real and no one could convince me otherwise. It's so awful that of all people, healthcare workers, who just intended to help, took so much abuse.
My son died of C-19 on Dec. 27, 2021. It was not a hoax. 😥 Most of our population has never been through a world wide illness that the older generations have been through. Our vaccines have been so effective in the U.S. that we have had a long period of being relatively free of deadly contagious viruses. I was astonished by those who said we would only lose the old and people with asthma and diabetes. So the he'll are we?!
hello ... i would like to add that covid 19 left many people with health issues ... after getting covid, i lost some of my hearing and developed tinnitus - this is a fact...i would tell you the whole story but it will take too long. i now wear hearing aids, and finally was able to habituate to my tinnitus... i did have the vaccines (even though i am a non vaxer). i live in a retirement community so it was important that i not be selfish so i received the vaccines - i did not want to infect others the director here was very proactive during the pandemic - we could only eat in our apartments, no games, nothing; however, we were allowed to go outside (with a mask) and walk....thank goodness. after 8 months it became more relaxed here in the community.. we could eat in the dining room, but had to wear our masks to and from the dining room..it is a mystery as to how i got covid because i was so very careful... i still wear my KN95 mask when i go to the market or a store...(i do not eat out). losing my hearing and having tinnitus was very devastating. oh, one person in our community of 60, died of covid... yes, very serious virus... thank you for sharing ...
Thank you for sharing that here. It will be very helpful for people to read if/when they stumble across my video. I'm sorry to hear about your hearing and tinnitus. Life changing I'm sure. Big Hugs!
I still mask! I was just wondering if it helps me to still mask. I still wash our groceries. My mom crossed over in 22. Only 5 people were allowed into the hospital during each stay at the hospital. She went in and out of the hospital from May to September. The virus took my husband's uncle and his mom fell, hit her head and is in memory care! The care center has had many outbreaks. I was teaching during this time. From home, then in person. It was so traumatic for everyone. Kids came to school sick. Parents didn't care! I retired for many reasons. One was the stress from the virus! Fyi, I had it in February 2020 before lockdown. I have asthma and thought i was dying. I couldn't breathe! What a dream! I can relate! Keeping people safe was so incredibly hard to do as a teacher. I can't imagine what the medical community went through!
I ordered this book! Thank you for reading those excerpts. The quote about Darwin vs WWJD was so on point. I had lunch with a friend and started telling her about this book because her daughter was a COVID nurse and told my friend that she had a young patient with COVID, trying to let my friend know how severe COVID was. But the conversation got weird when my friend’s version of what politicizing the vaccine meant vs mine. [sigh] I’m looking forward to reading this nurse’s perspective and sharing it with people. I don’t think we can see beyond our bias, though. It’s really quite sad. All of this, this whole time, rather than making me mad, just breaks my heart. I think of Jesus looking at the people and saying “oh, Jerusalem….” It must have broken his heart when he saw humans being human and not choosing love. Can we ever get there as a collective? I sure hope so. Your videos always give me something to ponder. Thank you!
My 94 year old mother died of C19 a few moths ago. She had the immunizations too. We took her off the ventilator, because her lungs were so damaged. She would never be able to breathe w/o the ventilator and would need a PEG tube to sustain life.
My sister and I are caring for our 85-year-old Mom who has long-covid. She was hospitalized three years ago for six weeks and we almost lost her. Before Covid, she was still working full-time as a hospital PBX operator (which is likely where she got it). Covid is real, believe me. Challenge me on it and I can't guarantee your safety.
@@TygerBleuToo ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹 I’m glad your mom beat the odds. What a trooper. May those who still deny its existence be able to see through his lies and political agenda.
Had brain bleed that required brain surgery in 2013. Highly dangerous situation stemmed from extremely rare birth defect. The Angelic Entourage of Nurses, PAs, Experts, Dr's, Surgeons, Hospital Workers and Therapists, none of whom I'd met before - total strangers til my health crisis - All worked together (directly or indirectly) to SAVE My Life. I am still astounded at their dedicated determination and motivation to take care of me. Sending Eternal Love and Gratitude to ALL Healthcare Workers 💞🙏💞 May you receive all the care and love you extend to all others Tenfold 💞🙏💞
Thank you for sharing segments from the book and giving back is a great idea we could all do with acts of giving at the moment. In Australia were have lost around 18000 people to C19 over the last 4 years. I don't remember much push back, we do have a population of around 30M. RFK Jr told the Samoan people not to vaccinate when their was an outbreak of measles. 98 children died with 5000 more cases. The Prime Minister contacted the Governor of Hawaii to help vaccinate the island. I don't know when this happened the Governor of Hawaii was interviewed on CNN. Thank you again
I watched the numbers in 2020. New cases, recoveries, deaths, and I wondered about the space in between. I would find out later, that was long covid. It is sad that people couldn't understand the concept of minimizing our movements. We were in lockdown in MN, but people had to cross state lines for manicures and dinner out.
MN did a great job. I remember going to a restaurant in late summer and they were taking names to contact folks if there was an outbreak. If only all states would have been as mature as MN was. 😿
I kept track everyday also on worldometer. Took screen shots of the numbers. Also wondered about the space between..... I only recently deleted all those screen shots.
Thanks, Karen, for appealing to the consciences of the collective. I think Covid brought out a collective narcissism in many Americans that was unspeakably shocking. I had to get regular treatments back then and was heartbroken by the nurses and doctors who had no PPE (we were a "blue" state), walking through the hospital in plastic bags. I can well understand that writer's rage.
I lost a lot to people due to covid-19. As in, they died. From it. People behaved like spoilt brats while I morned. I'll never look upon my fellow Americans the same
My Mom died April 2020 from CV it was so hard because I couldn't be by her side! I knew it wasn't a hoax in December from a leaked video from the Doctor in China.
oh my. My deepest sympathy for the lost of your mother and the experience of not being able to be with her. I can't even imagine how difficult that must have been. Thank you so much for sharing. Your testimony will be very helpful for others to read and honors your mother. Big Hugs.
@askthespiritguides I remember vowing to live through it just to vote 45 out of office and that when the vaccines came out to get my family vaccinated! When I was little my Mom walked with me for hours (we had no car) just to get my shots because they were important. 💙
@@katejackson4142 I remember that video. They said their gov was trying to cover it up so I believe that dr was risking their lives trying to prevent a global P. 😔 That was months before it had even hit the states that hard, though it may have already come here by that time by those who had either gone there or had contact with people who had.
@justmehawaii808 Such a brave Dr. to warn the world, he later succomed to the virus himself. After seeing that video I made homemade masks to wear for myself, my husband and my two kids. Everyone here in Hutchinson, Kansas looked at us like we were crazy!
@ yeah, so sad. 😞 Yeah, those are the same people who complained about having the lockdown after primarily being the cause of it. It’s better to be looked at like we’re crazy and still be alive to tell the story, especially for those who no longer can.
I would really love to understand the psychology of the group think that happened at that time and caused so much harm to healthcare workers. And why some people resist, putting a mask over their face to help save themselves, their immediate family and the community at large? That never made any sense to me. But I do feel it all Ties into the group think around he who shall not be named. All part of the same syndrome, and I really try to understand it because I want to make sense of what happened, but I can’t make any sense out of it. If somebody on the other side of this equation could explain it to me and some kind of rational way, I’m open to listening. We were already on our way to a massive medical provider shortage, but this exacerbated everything. I’m in the healthcare industry, but not a healthcare provider. But I hear people daily tell me how long it takes them to get into a doctor, no matter where in the country they are, pretty much. I just spoke to a woman who-moved to my community and is looking for a new doctor. She signed up in July and the soonest she can see a primary care physician is the following MAY, almost a year! This crisis is continuing to grow and we’re not paying any attention to it. The culture wer$ going on are stealing our attention for important things. And one of those important things is how do we get more doctors and nurses. Not fewer. But so many providers gave up hope during this time and went in another direction. It’s heartbreaking for all of us. And it’s cruel to the healthcare providers who were just slugging through it to save lives and many of them lost their own lives in the process of caring for us. Thank you for bringing up this topic. I think most of us don’t want to think about it but we need to. 🙏🏻💓🙏🏻
It's a basic problem that humanity is struggling through right now--the refusal to see or accept the truth with a big T. And that's why we see all multilayered falsehoods beginning to crumble before our eyes--because the veil is thinning, people are looking inward to examine authenticity and actual critical thought and are coming up with conclusions that contradict what they have lazily or conveniently accepted is immutable truths that don't benefit the individual or the whole. 💜💜💜

My stepson and his bride had their shower and wedding before vaccinations were readily available to everyone besides special pops. My husband (weight, high BP, diabetic) and Mom were high risk. The kid's attitude then was 'everyone is going to get it eventually anyway.' I was mortified, they are both PAs. My husband didn't want to make waves, I disagreed, and Our lives (on top of C19 stress and being laid off because of it) were filled w conflict over it for months. Since then, they've had 2 babies, and required everyone to wear masks when visiting. Still somewhat astouning regarding their one-sidedness and blatant lack of empathy. 💞🙏💞
I gave birth in August of 2020. My husband needed a mask in the delivery room, fortunately I didn't need to wear a mask during delivery or in my room but only when I left the room or someone came in. my husband was only allowed to visit me an hour a day and pay every day for a PCR test.
@@Schmanne23 I’m sorry you and your husband had to go through that , but I’m glad that he was at least allowed ti visit , I’m surprised they even allowed that especially on a maternity ward with newborns !!
Wow.....what a platform this morning. We all need to hear the words of this Healthcare worker. May God bless them all 🙏 Saying this with a child in the nursing community and a sister-in-law who continues to be a denier. Arghhh!
And meanwhile during all of this, our hospitals were losing money because they make money for doing elective surgery which was cut back during this time. Crazy
There were people in the healthcare sector who did not believe in C19, would not get vaccinated & encouraged use of the dewormer (you know what I mean). One of those physicians, whose office was across the street from mine, died of C19 because of his beliefs.
Ironically, they claim to be “pro-life.” 😒🤦🏻♀️ Some people have called them out on this, saying they’re not pro-life; they’re pro-birth because after a baby is born, they don’t care about the life of the person they supposedly were advocating for. You can’t claim to be pro-life and not care about the health and well-being of others.
@@justmehawaii808 absolutely true !! After birth they don’t care how that child gets food, clothed, cared for while the mother works to support the child ! It’s all hands off after birth , they don’t care any longer about the life they made the mother carry and then must support on her own many times working 2-3 jobs just to make ends almost meet !!
After listening to this I had the thought to dedicate a day a month maybe using numerology to choose as a prayer day or hour or moment? To help heal our collective hearts around the p and also our health care workers hearts. Pulling a card or using our rods… just some thoughts ❤ your words touched my heart. 😊
That’s a wonderful idea. I’ll even add it to the list of ideas for the spirit circle and explore collective interest at some point. Thanks for sharing.
I try to appreciate all the healthcare workers i come in contact with, by actually thanking them. I'm also trying to be the first to smile at the people around me. This is not always easy since im in my early 60's and i think thats when we fight against the " dislike" of people... just saying🤷♀️
I had SOO many thoughts watching this late last night I couldn't get it all down. I knew there was going to be an entirely different PSYCHOLOGICAL crisis from the pandemic. I still mask indoors and haven't had bronchitis in 5 years which I used to have 203x a year. But I feel the hostility from people. They dont want to be REMINDED. They want it to be done and rather than feel and move through the anger they want to say it either never existed, we wildly overreacted, or that someone deliberately unleashed it on the world. There was a similar albeit smaller version of this with HIV in the 90s, and I tested pop in 95 but this has a similar feeling albeit global. I have immediate family that think the vax is poison. I dont really know how to make amends, but I also lost a very close friend in April of 2000, not even 30, who texted me from the ventilator to say goodbye and it just shook me to my core. We rarely see anyone else masked. I have made peace with others telling themselves whatever they must to get through this, but what they're doing isn't REALLY getting them through it, it's sort of burying it. Thanks again for this post, almost no one talks about it anymore.
Hi Karen❤ thank you. This should now be called Bedtime stories with Karen!!! I would listen. I'm relatively new here, couple of weeks. I love you and I love all the different content and I want your Christmas shirt!! Thank you and dont stop.❤☕
Totally. I recorded this video right after Coffee with Karen, but posted it a bit late for coffee. LOL. Bedtime Stories with Karen is a great idea. I'm afraid people would get sick of listening to me all day. BAHAHAHA Thanks for the idea!
I was appalled by the number of "entitled" people that became visible during the P. I had no idea that there were so many in this country. It still makes me so sad. I lost some family members, and it was very difficult. It's hard not to be angry, so I end up just feeling depressed about it. The best thing we can do is raise our vibration just as much as we can. You are less likely to get sick when you're high vibe.
I retired from nursing after 30+ years in 2019, six months before the pandemic hit. I’m glad I did since my husband has a lung condition. I was appalled at the selfish behavior of people “not wanting”to wear masks. They were brainwashed I finally realized. We have to fix the propaganda and deliberate misinformation that is so pervasive. Perhaps freedom of speech needs some guardrails around it.
Listening to you (and others on YT) editing your words you JUST TO HAVE A DISCUSSION on this topic shows how the USA has regressed as a society. I first experienced citizens fearful and careful about using specific language to avoid retribution when I visited Cuba 😶
I pride my self on being truthfull and admitting when i wrong. Guess what once u admit ur wrong 1 time the second time be easyer then u stressless cause u dont have 2 do mental gymnastics to justify it to ur self. Pro tip if u have 2 justify something to ur self u know ur at min being a little inauthentic. My wifes a nurse's. And freinds wife worked at menards as a floor manger. She had 2 fight daily with people who wouldnt wear a mask and quit cause people were soooo mean 2 her doing her job trying 2 enforce the mask. Americans think we can tell every other country what 2 do but tell a American no and they lose all reason....how can America be great again if we cant even accept a simple no with a actual scientific reason backing it.
I've had it twice, and both times, I got it from the med floor... first time, I was fevering all night at work and nobody would come in to cover me...I had both shots plus booster...thankfully! I got over it both times in a week. Probably because it was so mutated by then and I had sone immunity for it. The staff are supposed to be wearing masks, but most of the time they dont...and thats in canada. We are very close to the border, and we have some hardcore 45 followers here too.. i just can't anymore.. so tired of the bs...honest to pete...
Where was she working? I’m thinking the comment about being behind may be because we in the East were dealing with it before it catastrophically reached other parts of the country. So, they should have been grateful to learn something from those who were already inundated with too many cases. 😢
Not good, 45! YES. YES. YES. I have not put the mask down. I still wear it into stores or small spaces. I have not gone to a restaurant for a sit down meal since March 2020. I just cant.
It made me so mad to see people fooled by conspiracies about Covid. One guy I knew who died from it had declared that he wouldn't live in fear, and went about his life as though nothing was going on. I'm so sad for his family who lost him because of this choice. My son and I stayed in our house for a year and a half. Thankfully, the school where I taught allowed me to teach via zoom that whole time. My husband's job was very solitary so he was able to keep distance from people without difficulty. We sprayed down and wiped every single package and grocery item with alcohol solution at a makeshift sanitization station we set up in our garage. I am so grateful we were able to manage our situation this way amd it is not lost on me that many folks did not have this luxury.
I totally empathised with medical staffs. How some of the public acted . . . what can you even say. I saw it first hand too. Don't forget about all of the other frontline workers, police, fire and rescue, hvac and plumbing repair, groxery store cashiers and other grocery workers. I worked 4 days per week. I actually started that job during lockdown. I didn't know what my coworkers really looked like because of the masks. I never had a oroblem wearing a mask. Customers would ask if wearing a mask all day got to me. Answer, "No". People DID come in without masks even though we had a big lettered sign at the entry and we actually sold masks for like a dollar at the front desk. We coukd ask a person to put on a nask and rmthat we had some for purchase. Some people were embaressed and were accommodating. Others got abusive and woukdb't leave until they were done shopping - so we just tried to get them out of the store as soon as possible. My understanding is that, unless you wear one of those hospital staff high tech masks, you are protecting other people from any contagion you might have. It doesn't, however, protect you from others. I guess you want to observe the 6'-0" space between people suggestion. I got covid from one of the customers or staff at work at Winter Holiday Time before the vaccine was available to the average joe. I was really, really sick for 5+ weeks. I didn't get paid for that time even though I caught it at work. We don't get paid if we don't work in the grocery business, unless we are full time which very few are. Long story short I have long covid. I've been tested for everythinhmg else that could cause the impossible fatigue and shortness of breath I experience at all times. I sleep so much. . .not unusual is to sleep for 36 hours in a row except to use the bathroom, drink water, eat something.
This nurses first hand report is heart wrenching. If anyone decides against following doctor's recommendations about self care that is their business when you are not putting others at risk but not purposely infecting others with disease. Also, the long term aftereffects of having COVID continue to be experienced by many. My daughter, who is in medical research told me even minor cases of COVID can end up doing damage to the lungs, heart, vascular system and other vital organs. It is not like the common cold. The virus continues to live in ones body. I continue to mask up when in public. Do I like having to do it? NO! But, I do it for my own welfare and the health of others with whom I come into contact. I know the medical profession has taken a hard hit. The greed of profit making CEO'S has (in my opinion) damaged the profession. Another thing needing to be fixed. But. come on folks, let's use some common sense and not buy into any more conspiracy theories coming out of politics.
I was lucky to live in a town that was not as badly hit as others. But, because of that it was even harder to get people to take it seriously. I also have a lot of earthy crunchy friends, I am the only one that got vaccinated because they didn’t want to put anything unnatural in their bodies. I had friends in other parts of the country that lost a lot of friends and family members. My daughter has had it 2x and while she seems to have survived without any major issues, you just don’t know how it may have affected her body for the long term.
Kindness is the best, prayer, and random acts of kindness. a smile , do what i did vaccinated. one on the left and two on the right..Stop typing Teresa
Karen, I have been watching your channel for only a short while, but I want to tell you I appreciate your work here. I am a retired Doctor of Nursing Practice, Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry. I was not working during C19, because I had to leave work in 2016 to care for myself and family after an untimely death. I see how God has worked in my life for all of my life. I would like to hear from you how the SGs view evil. I believe the willfully ignorant, the disinformants, the deniers, and outright stupid, are under the influence of something spiritually dark. I want to know what the SGs consider the most effective way to deal with this. Is it prayer? If yes, what or how to pray? Is it action? What kind? Are those people unfixable? What would lift the cloud from their minds?
What is sad the persons who do not believe in vaccinations, some of them died because of their decisions' huh. Well they made the sad, sad choice. healthcare workers especially those who work Palliative care. Hospice care, I'm still trying find some help with my taxes because I was asked to stay at home with curts circumstances. we think of the Healthcare systems, and the incident of a week ago. the CEO of United healthcare who was killed. The healthcare system needs to be fixed hight prices on supplies, care, and the idea of hospitalization. Even Psychology coulseling.for the client but for the therapist is to keep the lights on and further a education to keep up with the new. A year since My aunt Karen who was a RN, She was a person who always remembered me. She was my dads half-sister. But she was sending me $40. 00 dollars for Thanksgiving, Christmas, easter and ST. patricks, and my birthday, Curts birthday.
I will never understand why some people think their “inconvenience” should somehow outweigh anyone else’s life.

As a nurse during this time was so stressful and traumatic to so many… yes it was so difficult to not only to deal with the patients and their families but then have to deal with the public…it was so appalling that we did not have the adequate supplies… and with the politicalization of this was down right unforgivable…
I am praying that people start waking up to this dark era that we living in….
Blessings to you ❤️🙏🏽

Where thanks you JB (oh wow just realised reversed initials & sure is total opposite.)
at least he kept your free tests & access to boosters.

@RobertaDunn-51. . . Oh my God Roberta, that makes my skin crawl. That's truly dystopia.
It’s just horrific that so many people lost loved ones and to this day their chair at the holiday table is still empty. And so horrific that the monster in charge at that time will be back again.
My hope is that those souls demonstrating selfishness are here to learn a lesson that realizes that "it is not just about you!"
We are so grateful for the sacrifices that all the medical professionals have made and continue to make during crises.
They threw away the book created for something like this because it was created by the Obama administration!
My daughter is a sonographer in a hospital. I spent the entire pandemic terrified we would lose her. We took this virus deathly serious.
And C19 isn't over yet and won't stop wearing a mask to protect myself and my husband.
Same..and I hate hearing about it talked in the past-tense
I still wear my mask too! It still spreads rapidly and too many still don’t take it seriously.
Be in love, light ,peace, abundance and gratitude for every day. Hold the balance. Shine on.
“Being told ‘no’ without losing our minds” Boy is this true! I would always share with those ‘no maskers’ my comparison to WWII. What if one person decided to leave their lights on when told to black out everything? It impacts us all!
Great analogy. Makes perfect sense.
I never understood those who rebelled and resisted the precautions.
ironically i just got my moderna ,flu, and tetnus, sore arms. a little bit
That is shocking and sad. It really is a cult!
@@askthespiritguides U sure would not have wanted him to be my nurse. So so sad....
@@hollybeary just goes to prove if you lie and repeat enough the weak minded will believe you , hence 45 the 🤡!!
Prisoners saw those around them dying and at the same time being told it wasn't contagious or drink bleach. Can you believe the horror being there?
😢@@Respect-All13
@@amberweik5384 I know it is difficult.
@@Schmanne23 sorry for your loss of your Mom.
💙🙏💙
Thank you!
Important conversation, thank you.
Thank you, Karen...it is so important that you put out content like this. Truth needs to be told. Those who fell prey to conspiracy theories or chose to deny what they witnessed for whatever reason, need another chance to hear, see, and understand.
Wow, more similar memories I had forgotten about....
Most of our population has never been through a world wide illness that the older generations have been through. Our vaccines have been so effective in the U.S. that we have had a long period of being relatively free of deadly contagious viruses.
I was astonished by those who said we would only lose the old and people with asthma and diabetes. So the he'll are we?!
Who in the hell are we?!
Im so sorry for your loss. 💙🙏💙
I still have Long Covid symptoms, one of which is a heart issue. Covid is real. Thanks for your shout out to the health care community!❤️
hello ... i would like to add that covid 19 left many people with health issues ... after getting covid, i lost some of my hearing and developed tinnitus - this is a fact...i would tell you the whole story but it will take too long.
i now wear hearing aids, and finally was able to habituate to my tinnitus...
i did have the vaccines (even though i am a non vaxer). i live in a retirement community so it was important that i not be selfish so i received the vaccines - i did not want to infect others
the director here was very proactive during the pandemic - we could only eat in our apartments, no games, nothing; however, we were allowed to go outside (with a mask) and walk....thank goodness.
after 8 months it became more relaxed here in the community.. we could eat in the dining room, but had to wear our masks to and from the dining room..it is a mystery as to how i got covid because i was so very careful...
i still wear my KN95 mask when i go to the market or a store...(i do not eat out).
losing my hearing and having tinnitus was very devastating.
oh, one person in our community of 60, died of covid...
yes, very serious virus...
thank you for sharing ...
Thank you for sharing that here. It will be very helpful for people to read if/when they stumble across my video. I'm sorry to hear about your hearing and tinnitus. Life changing I'm sure. Big Hugs!
Thank you.
[sigh]
I’m looking forward to reading this nurse’s perspective and sharing it with people.
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this information during that and this challenging time.❤ You are a blessing.
Thank you for the kind words!
My 94 year old mother died of C19 a few moths ago. She had the immunizations too. We took her off the ventilator, because her lungs were so damaged. She would never be able to breathe w/o the ventilator and would need a PEG tube to sustain life.
Thanks!
@@TygerBleuToo ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
I’m glad your mom beat the odds. What a trooper. May those who still deny its existence be able to see through his lies and political agenda.
Thank you for bringing this to light. The people who need to hear this probably won't see this video.
Thank you for this!
Thank you Karen 🌟❤️🙏💐
I lost a lot to people due to covid-19. As in, they died. From it. People behaved like spoilt brats while I morned. I'll never look upon my fellow Americans the same
@@llothcat many were ignorant and others believed 45’s lies , just like they do today !!
Yeah, those are the same people who complained about having the lockdown after primarily being the cause of it.
🙏🏻💓🙏🏻
This is so important for people to know and understand. 💙🙏💙
Karen some synchronicity validation! just started vid & clicked like & was 444 & the prev (not date in order) vid of yours I clicked was 44 & my number is 4 & side note when I lived with parents till my my marriage my main bus route there was 44.
Number syncs prev today with tines was 10:10 11:11 14:14 been increasingly getting these sort of sequences. Wishing all high vibes in your day ✨💖✨
My stepson and his bride had their shower and wedding before vaccinations were readily available to everyone besides special pops.
I think if he told people to walk in front of a moving car there would be Kooks that would od it. I think the book is a insightful read.
@beckystone7994 i gave birth in Germany so maybe they restrictions were different than in the US?
@ oh yes your probably correct !!!
Wow! That’s powerful!
And needs to be shared! So we don’t forget the scarifies that were made! Thanks!
Thank you, I couldn't agree more
So much for those who claimed moral majority.
Ironically, they claim to be “pro-life.” 😒🤦🏻♀️
Some people have called them out on this, saying they’re not pro-life; they’re pro-birth because after a baby is born, they don’t care about the life of the person they supposedly were advocating for.
Excellent read today. I will get the book. I am a believer that followed the rules.
I was sent home to work remotely the 3rd week of March 2020
I just ordered the book. Thanks.
This is so hard to hear. I keep thinking about the next big event that might come under the next 4 years administration.
Wonderful to hear from you again.
@LeslieCozad. . . Their velief is "Nobody can tell ME what to do or what not to do."
The lack of critical thinking skills. This is what happens.
I had covid 11/20 and it was NOT a hoax
I think if another p happens. I don’t have anything much to say that’s positive about what that might look like.
And 45 gave masks who are enemies how messed up is that really messed up
This nurses first hand report is heart wrenching.
& still here’s a debate about the V …..l2024 almost 2025….still
Karen, cough in your elbow, not your hand. Lol
Lmao. Right? I have found it so interesting how quickly we went back to pre-Covid habits. 🤗

I'm so glad that you found the channel and saved your questions!
